3rd for today. Was out in open. Put a new log in and put in back in tree.
Needs maintenance. JnD.

Container was open and full of brown water. Found the lid a few feet away. What looked like soggy business cards inside. Gross.
Out in the open, no lid, no log sadly. Put it back against the base of the tree.

Another visit to Townsville this week and another Champs2Monkeys RRPT Cache for us today. We found the container out in the open, after signing the log book we tucked it away in a safe spot. We picked up the Logan's travel kitten TB that was present, to continue travelling.
Thanks MattCNS for keeping this Cache going.

We parked nearby and legged it to the cache. Found after a brief search of a few possible locations.
Hi there Champs2Monkeys. We found your cache "RRPT - Black Cockatoo" at 1:29:00 PM today.
This was our 3rd cache find in a caching run of 7 Finds & 1 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9732.)
[Blue]
Today's cache run was primarily to add to our current streak of "Most Consecutive Days" cached, (which has been going since New Years Day 2014.) Our route around the Palmetum and nearby River Walk took us to some wonderful & scenic locations.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: The log consists of very scrappy pieces of paper. Some maintenance TLC would be a really good idea.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Champs2Monkeys are heading south, and as such can not maintain this cache.
^dventurers has kindly offered to maintain this cache on our behalf. C+2M are very appreciative for her help and will maintain a supply of replacement caches and stores.
Those that have contacted us to also offer help, I thank you for the offer, but ^dventurers beat you to it. I passed your names to ^dventurers and she will reach out to you if she needs assistance in maintaining this cache.
To all the Townsville Cachers, thank you for the hunt, and if you’re in the ACT, look us up.
Cheers

Visiting Townsvillle, on our 3rd trip around Australia, picking up a few caches in the area.
No muggles in this area today, made for a quick find. Another good container used.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Champs2Monkeys, for us and others to find.

The RRPT is like whack-a-mole, just when you have got them all another one pops up. First chance I've had to grab this on a sparkling morning by the river. Perfect weather. Came from the wrong side and then the right side and found an unusual container. Signed and replaced.

#373 Found after the nearby CITO event.
So I decided to pick up a few quick caches on the way to the shops. This was the first easy one to get in the direction that we were going. We arrived at GZ and after quick search had located the cache. We had to wait for some muggles to pass, but eventually we made the find. Then we did a Champs. We forgot a pen.
After a thorough yet unsuccessful search of the car for a pen, we had to resort to using one of the TBs as an unlikely writing device. Surprisingly, it worked alright.
Thanks for the cache Champs2Monkeys!

We headed out to grab this one to fill a '0' we have for this date in our stats.
Cache was found after a few minutes lying on the ground so we placed it back where we think it should go.

Nice relaxing walk along this stretch of the river in the early afternoon, before all the exercising muggles come along here too. No cockatoos here today, but saw write a few on my way to the cache.

Another RRPT cache marked off the list. No Black Cockatoo's around today sadly. TFTC C2M. TNLN. SL. [#522]
Our caching streak continues even with geoP flying solo once again. The afternoon was getting away from me so I had to go for a quick p&g, with not many of these left for us this was the pick.
Any muggles that could have been a problem were out of sight once I got to GZ and a quick find was made.
