Nice quick find here, I looked around for a short time before spotting a likely hiding spot. Log signed and returned as found. Thanks Fernandogirls

Cool

15-Jul-22
I should have bought my bike out here. There were some great tracks to ride on.
The cache log was a bit damp so I put the whole cache into a small zip lock bag to protect it during winter.

11-Jul-22
The notebook is waterlogged

Doing this track before the rain starts with MitchDem, then we'll go for a cheese melt at the cheese shop, easy find, TFTC

Decided it was time to get away from the city for the day. So we headed for the hills to grab some cache!

30-Jan-22
Touched base with Tiger777 this morning to get out of the house for some caching. We were on our way out to Darlington and pulled off Ridge Hill Rd briefly to see if there were caches nearby, when I noticed there was an FTF in Carmel. We quickly changed plans and met up with others in Carmel once we got there.

After a lengthy search I expanded the search area and spotted it lying in the open. Tucked it back where I felt it should go. Picture attached. Cheers Fernandogirls! Big Grin

The snail took a long time to climb that ramp

30-Aug-21
Come up to the Roleystone bush to find a recently published cache and ended up pulling out the mountain bike where I raced around the trails.

Favourite point added for this and the series.

Morgo the geo found AT A SNAILS PACE today and had a great time.

03-Apr-21
Needs maintenance

21-Mar-21
DNF for us also. Seems like the mountain bike "feature" has been abandoned and the cache may have gone with it.

21-Mar-21
Please can we have a CO check on this one?

21-Mar-21
This geocacher reported that the cache might be missing.

23-Apr-20
A DNF from us despite a good look around. Will be watching with interest.

07-Apr-20
Sadly couldn’t find this one today.

01-Mar-20
Had a really quick look for this today.

Looks like the bike ramp built into tree that has been dismantled, so unsure if the cache is still here.

Didn't have long to keep searching.

Maybe worth checking on.

Made sure I signed to log and returned this little guy back to his spot.

Found the original log on the ground before we found the cache. Looks like some mountain bikers have turned this tree into a jump. Placed the original log in the plastic bag in the snail but maintenance is required as the mountain bikers are liable to disturb it either riding over the jump or fixing their ramp. TFTC

Nice cache however it is in need of repair, the base and log were missing. I replaced the log in a small ziplock bag which I stuffed into the cache. TFTC!

Well the footy is over and we still had some caches to find and a day planned with Me&B and m4yb, so instead of doing the really scary snake area we decided on this little group. Drove the GeoJazz to the parking spot and met up with Me&B headed to this one to complete and anticlockwise circuit.

Our last on this trail today and m4yb made the find here.

A great camo here and a clever hide TFTC Fernandogirls

Enjoying finding some great caches by this CO on our Carmel walk! A little shorcut here, admiring spring wildflowers on the way.
Not sure what the ramp is used for, maybe those noisy trail bike riders who should be geocaching instead.

Back in the Hills again to find a handful of the apparently infinite amount of caches to improve the stats a little bit.
For the first part of the day I parked the car and walked around in the bush. The challenge was more to find the right track to get to the next hide. The wide variety of hides kept me smiling on the way.
Found this in the first spot I looked. I had already met a similar container in Claremont. TFTH

Approached from mum knows best and found this guy with a bunch of soldier guards and had to pick my moment. Thanks for the day of hunting Fernandogirls.

I parked the car near BITTEN BY THE SAME BUG and took off for a walk in this area to find a few. This was the first one, and I noticed the right location early on, but didn't want to look there so I looked around in other spots before eventually coming back to it.

The container's main part and backing plate have come apart and wouldn't stay together when I tried to rejoin them. A cute container here. Thanks for the cache Fernandogirls!

I had a few hours to kill before the rest of the family woke up so I headed out to the hills just before dawn to see how many caches I could find until I got the hurry-up call to get home. Very peaceful, still morning. Saw many kangaroos, several large lizards and I was almost run over by about a dozen mountain bikers. Such a great area to explore. Didn't look at the hint and the hiding spot caught my eye immediately. Just as I was about to extract, a MTB rider came whizzing past on the track, almost knocking me over! Lucky I have good reflexes. TFTC Fernandogirls

In the hills today finding a few caches, we decided to concentrate on finding the little treasures in this area... This was a quick find of this cute little cache! DangerMouse09 would have loved being with us today to test out some of these great MTB tracks Big Grin

Came back up into the hills this arvo to see if I could knock off some more caches. I had done a couple in this area before and it was my intention to come back at some point to clear the map. I had had a go at four today and found three, a nice stroll along the track on a fairly warm day.

Had to resort to the hint here and came up with a quick find. The cute container is slightly broken but still seems to be performing quite well.

I'm looking forward to meeting other geocachers in Busselton at the 'WA GOES BIG IN 2015' event. Registrations now open.

It was a very pleasant trek through the forest to do this series of caches on a lovely spring day. Most were easily spotted, and I loved your containers.
Thanks for the caches and the exercise Fernandogirls.

Quick find here at this one, it was lovely walking on the tracks and little paths it was so peaceful. Thanks Fernandogirls .

14-Jul-14
I was on a maintenance run to the hills to check on my cache 'What do cachers do all day' and used the excuse to find a few caches whilst up there. This cache was one of them. The bottom has been broken off the container and although I found it, it will no longer stay in place. The plastic log sheet posed some problems for my pencil which would not write on it until i remembered my swiss card in my wallet that has a small pen. Successfully signed the log and then carried on with a few other finds. TFTC.

So son and I log this one. Plug in the co-ords for the next and give him the GPS. Its about 200+m away -"Which way son?"
"This way" I didnt think so but he has the GPs.
A bit further "How far son?"
Looks at thw GPS "Ahh ...Ahh I thought we were going home - you can go get it. Twisted
As it was 250m in the opposite direction that was the end of our day Smile Thanks girls

I decided to head out to the Lesmurdie area and pick up a few caches as i havent done any caching in that area before. I left early to try and beat the heat but it seemed to get hot quite early today.
I didnt do too bad as i found 14 caches in 2 hours with only 1 DNF.
With good descriptions all the caches were found quite quickly and it was good to see a variety of cache containers. It was a bit of a walk to this one but once there the cache was soon found. The lid is broken on the container here. TFTC Fernandogirls

I was in this area for the first time today and I had about 30 caches on the to-do list. I was able to find all but one and I thoroughly enjoyed the quality and creativity of the hides around here Big Grin

A nice easy find with a neat camo. TFTC Fernandogirls

Another day and another caching run, quick grab here, TFTC

12-Feb-14
Stopped to get this one on the way back to the car! Unfortunately a piece has been broken off the bottom of this lovely little container and the 'lid' no longer stays on! I have tried to put it back on a flat surface so that it all stays together but it is now not so well hidden as it was. This one will really need some maintenance, especially if it rains!!
