Glenmore Park, a nice new suburb with heaps of footpaths and bike tracks. However, very few places to park and very few public toilets. Anyway, TFTC
I quick find but not so quick retrieval. I remembered I have a tool in the car perfect for this type of cache, that I had included after another of this type in the past. Back to the car to collect it. Luckily no muggles around GZ, so was able to retrieve, sign log and return. TFTC
#655 found with lucky1955 while out in the Penrith area. I came here previously but no luck but this time I spotted it and a quickly grabbed it we sat down and signed the log but the replacement took a little bit longer to do. Thanks for the cache
My second find of the morning. In company with phlphotos we waited out some muggles who were in the target area. When they rode off we moved in for a search. Phil spotted the sly little devil. A jump was required to reach and retrieved. We sat at the tables to sign the log before replacing as found. tftc
Interesting spot, the bugs on the roof & table/chairs were an unexpected find. Wondering about the significance of the names on the table/chairs. Thanks for showing us this spot & Tftc xo
20/2/16. 3:34 PM. Cache #3526. Streak day #608.
12th of 15 today - Glenmore Park & Mulgoa.
I headed out west this weekend for a bit of a Penrith plunder, today grabbing a few from the GP Fitness Freaks and FRACTURED PHRASES series. After "GPAC", I headed over here.
I wondered if I'd be tall enough, but upon approaching GZ and spotting the cache soon after, realised I wouldn't be "up" for the task. I looked around and spotted something that gave a little extra, which was all that I needed. Signed, replaced and off to "Apple Gum Reserve" next. TFTC.

Found while out hunting some others in stage 1 GP. Found immediately by chance in the first places eyes looked.
TFTC this is our first find since moving to Glenmore park and the geokids were not disappointed. We didn't sign, it was an impromptu stop, but we have logged it anyway. Geokids had to help me with this one
Well, didn't I feel I was set up! Looking for a nano in all the wrong places and it turns out it was in an obvious location. Not where I'd expected the hide to be but managed it.
Did enjoy the challenge though, with so many muggles driving past, but unaware of my search.
Signed and returned, TFTC

I've been to this one 3 times now and it has always been in the same place. I showed another friend today and couldn't find it at all. I walked around the whole roof looking for it. I don't know if it has been moved or what. But I couldn't find it
#2422 (5 of 6 today)
Decided to head west this afternoon to grab some caches out Glenwood Park way.
Didn't find them all - missed a multi - but six solid finds, including avenging two previous DNFs.
Can't complain.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Continued down Glenmore Parkway until I found myself here. Again. Parked nearby and walked back to GZ.
rereading the logs, and the more recent ones, I'd come to a conclusion re placement, so decided to target that first - even though I had checked them last time.
Must have simply missed it then as this time I found it in the second spot I checked - brought a tool with me that helped.
Completed signing duties and then back for the replace.
And the area was much more pleasant to be in this time - I think someone has even cleared away many of the spiders, but not all. The three bird's nests and their inhabitants provided good cover, and were interesting to watch.
Second DNF expunged today - on a roll...

Took us a good while but eventually found it.
If you need help finding it, definitely read the comments.

Decided to spend a few fun hours out Glenmore way today, and managed to grab 11 caches during a series of long walks - including a circumnavigation of Penrith Golf Club. Unfortunately there were also quite a few DNFs as well.

Interesting welcome...
At GZ there were a few logical spots to check, but do you want to put your fingers where you can see the tell -tale sign of redback spiders?
The used sanitary products nearby were also a lowlight.
So this is a DNF from me.

TFTC grateful for the geomonkeys today, their patience nearly ran out but without them I couldn't have retrieved this one!
This one driving us mad, day three and still not found. Can anyone confirm it hasn't been muggled?
Found this the other day but forgot a pen! Cache is tiny! Good hide though, very enjoyable hide. Tftc
Searched high and high again with no luck today. I even went low but this nano remained elusive.
Another unexpected place, took a while after we stopped looking in obvious places, even tho it is obvious i must of missed it twice. Tftc like it
#142....when the caching buddy points out the only cache she hasn't found in an area as we drive past it then there's only one thing to do......stop of course! A short search and the help of a geotool, we had the little guy in hand. TFTC
After an adventurous day caching in the lower Blue Mountains we were on the way home when I mentioned to Ali that I knew exactly where this cache would be, I just couldn't reach it. As we drove around the corner there was not one muggle in the park. We jumped out of the car with a geotool and left the gps behind. Cache was in hand before long, just as a family turned up to ride their scooters. TFTC
Tftc! Short daughter and slightly taller mum worked together to retrieve cache! After numerous laughs.
Headed out after work to grab some caches. A quick find at a stretch. TFTC Iker1995

Another early evening find for the day while waiting to pick up the kids.

I had the day off so I decided to head out and tackle a few Glenmore Park caches!
I can't think of a better way to spend a sunny blue day
Thanks Iker and crew!

ElToppo strikes again! Nicely played. Found it solo. I love being tall. Sadly, no pen to sign off! Well add that detail later. Hams Sandwich, I see your problem! Thanks for a nice little cache.
Initially there to teach the kids to ride their bikes, at least we had more luck with the cache than the bike riding! El toppo and youngsterz will certainly have an advantage retrieving this cache but this little piggy just got a boost with man and salad
Lucky for us been two. We replaced it with a new log. All ready for the next finder. TFTC
Geowife had previously looked for this one but quickly gave up after reading previous logs. She brought me back today as she thought my extra height may help with the search... It didn't take too long before I spied the nasty bugger... Once the coast was clear, I did what I had to do to retrieve the cache and sign the very full log (needs replacing) and then replace. TFTC.
Terrain needs to be upgraded. To reach this cache it took a stool to stand on and a long stick. One and a half star caches don't need this. Unless one is very tall, this is beyond reach. I am average height.
Log is full. I managed to squeeze GW on.

This was a quick park and grab. I spotted the cache as I approached, plucked it out, signed the log, popped it back on tiptoes and was on my way.
As already reported, the log is full. I had to sign in a small blank space between two old entries.
Thanks iker1995, trisbam95 and ttocs95.

The ageing Bushfire is back in Glenmore Park for a few weeks and is hoping to grab a few FTF's and to finally crack the 4000 finds barrier. With the Mega event past and all the found caches logged it is back to reality so today I made a start on all the new caches that have been placed since my last visit and this was the first to be attempted.
I think the cachers who are placing these new caches around here must all be giants because the caches are so high that it required two of my caching tools to first grab this cache and then replace it.
Thanks Iker1995 for placing this cache.

Found but couldn't sign the log as we are vertically challenged. Retrieving it would have been okay using a long stick but putting it back would have been impossible. We have photo evidence if needed to prove our find.TFTC
Made aware of my distinct lack of geocaching type activities recently by a plea for help from another cacher, I was spurred into action (even if it was just a quick after school drive by).
The Junior T-Rex's and I parked in the conveniently placed parking bay and strolled across to the structure. After some hilarious sitting on head type activities at one up right I pulled out the iphone and re-established the GZ. Two seconds later an easy find was made. The senior junior made a jump and we signed the log. Look for the faint LTR and you'll see we were there.

I was down in the Penrith area from the Blue Mountains because I had to schedule a service for the GeoBuru2. There were some 25 'unfounds' within easy driving distance of Penrith Subaru and I was amazed that I actually visited -- and logged -- 18 of them in a fairly short time. Temperatures were around 30 degrees but I welcomed the sun after days of rain.
This one probably needs another 'terrain' point. Unlike my friend bb, I didn't have any helpful basketballer-sized muggles around to assist.
Somehow, I felt like a lab animal in an experiment. He can see the food. But can he reach it? Does he have the ingenuity to find some way to solve the problem? In other similar situations I went for the milk crate that I always tote around with me. But today I had a loan car from Subaru.
I won't say more. But I'm pleased to report that I not only solved the problem and ate the cache . . . I mean, signed the cache . . . I also found a way to replace it again, in the exact same place.
Guess I should have been a guinea pig . . .
TNLNSL.
Many thanks to Iker1995 for the cache and the test of mental/physical ingenuity.

There was a family near the cache, wheeling their little kid about, when we got to the location. But I spotted the cache immediately and managed to retrieve it - just. We moved away and signed the log, but when we came back to return the cache I found that replacing the it was not going to be easy as retrieving it without another two inches in height. I looked at the father and realised he was quite a bit taller than me. So I asked him to put it back. He did. He and his wife were curious, so I showed them my GPS and told them about caching. They seemed mildly interested. We thanked them and left. Thanks

Bikerbuddy was tall enough to grab this one, but we came a little unstuck at replacing it. We had to appeal to a taller muggle for some help . A fun little encounter, and who knows, maybe that family were intrigued enough at seeing their first cache to look further into this caching thing.
Thanks

# 2358- another cache to clear up from myDNF list. A trip to nearby K mart bought me what I needed to retrieve it this time. In the pouring rain, I was in and out in a few minutes. Thanks.
Not so much, could not find, but could not retrieve. I will be back!

With Booo's Dad's log read, it was a quick find, if a little bit of a stretch. Thanks Iker1995.
The Booo's found this cache with mel_is_sah , The co-ords said here and here I looked and after a quick walk around spotted the cache and with the aid of the smallest of mel_is_sah's crew we soon had the cache in hand, quickly signed the log and returned the cache.

Early morning run before the day starts. Had to go back to do car for this one. Just a little more exercise for the day. TFTC.
A hard day trekking and abseiling up at Narrowneck. I thoight I'd grab a couple of caches on the home.
Every step was painful and retrieval was not easy without my caching tools.
It ended up being only one find this afternoon as I'm in dire need of recovery.

Looks like the rain has passed, so it's time I had a morning out caching. There have been so many caches pop up around the Glenmore Park area of late, a morning of walking will do me good.
The parkland was empty this morning and after a short search the cache was spotted. Log signed and all replaced.

Nice cache. Was not expecting it to be so small. A quick find after a double take. My height helped too.
First place I looked. Easy find but won't be easy for some ducks who were nearby. Tftc
Saw iker place this cache earlier tonight and knowing him personally I was keen to get out and find it. A simple find, as there's few other possibilities, however well hidden and won't get muggled. TFTC.
Was only 1km away by chance of having to take my car in to get the stereo replaced when this came up and i was an hour early, so what better way to pass the time than nab a FTF, well i went straight there and i was only mins too late from nabbing the FTF, oh well 2TF will have to do. nice to meet some newbie cachers along the way.
