Not a problem here today as GrumpyBump replaced this cache in October 2019, the local white ants are trying to make it part of their home. SL TFTC

Cairns trip 2019. Day 3. I drove from Dirranbandi to north of Injune via Surat & Roma. A quiet day on the road, but plenty of caches along the way. I also was snot able to locate this one, I hope you can get to it at some stage.
Thanks.

Due to medical reasons we are unable to do maintenance on this cache at this moment. Give us a month or so and we will have it back in order.

Add 2 more DNF's to the list - The Marathon Man and pnutbeagle.
Cache needs maintenance as the cache contain er appears to be gone

So frustrated and hot! I knew a DNF was possible given the person before this was also a DNF. But I was hopeful given the trackable in it. But alas! I did find a bong and an empty Eclipse tin (but this was more litter-like than cache-like).
Not seeing anything here today. Checked out hollow logs and stones. Unfortunately coordinates place me in the middle of the road so not even a side to choose. No luck today. Tftc
**Day 5 - International Earth Cache weekend Carnarvon Gorge Return Journey**
Accompanied by Slow Puncture we are now on the return journey after a fabulous weekend at Carnarvon Gorge. For some reason we missed this cache on the way up so given it was time for a cuppa a cache stop was in order.
Quick look and the cache was soon in hand.

International EC weekend was over and it was time for wombles, 1MinnieMoo, Lady membsec, mnance101 and I to head for home. Of course we made sure to stop and create a smiley at any caches we had missed on the journey in.
Arriving at GZ it didn't take long for the well hidden beast to be in hand. Our marks were left and the container replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache jpgordo

While on a road trip to Carnarvon Gorge, Nyssaflutterby, Womble, 1Minniemoo, membsec and myself decided to do a few caches on our way home. TFTC and for bringing us here!
15/10/18 7:30 am Find #2173
Having spent the weekend in Carnarvon Gorge, our little group was on its way home and stopped in here - we are not sure why we didn't get this one when we got fuel on way in on Fri, perhaps it was about that time when we realised we needed to get a scoot on to get to Carnarvon in time.

After a long weekend at Canarvon Gorge, time for Nyssaflutterby, 1Minniemoo, Membsec, Mnance1 and I to head home, though of course we won't take the shortest route!
A few stops to make along the way.....

Monday. After making the journey to Carnarvon Gorge for International Geocache Day, we are now on the return journey. We found this cache quickly and signed our names in the log. The day was looking fantastic – bright clear and blue and no sign of the damaging storms that we came across on the way to the Gorge.
This was the 1st of 22 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***jpgordo***, for showing us this place.

Our trip to Carnarvon Gorge has come to an end so with sadness and in convoy with Nyssaflutterby, 1MinnieMoo, Wombles&Co and mnance101 we slowly head back to our homes! This was our first heading back home and we signed the log with QQ to save time and space. Nice placement of the cache and so good to see the sun as on our way up to the gorge it was raining.

Two years after coming here with Jess, I am back again after another fabulous time at Carnarvon Gorge. Well, I knew exactly where this cache was today, so I can only figure we must have found it two years ago after an initial DNF. Anyway, name is definitely in the logbook today! Thanks for the cache jpgordo!
This was as far north as we were going. A wee bit of fuel and then it was time to search. Angloj quickly made the find and signed our names. TFTC jpgordo

Hi there jpgordo.
We are on our way to [QOGM](https://coord.info/GC7P875), the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster, which is being held in Barcaldine. We cached towards the east and north of Roma today (as well as the town itself.
Our find total today was 23 caches & we DNF'd 2. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels as we continue our nomadic wanderings around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

A perfect Winter day for a trip north to Emerald for a visit.
Not many muggles around today and a few more good safe hides.
Found the log sheet loose and no box. Added a new container and pencil and returned it.
Looks like the big rig muggles might be watching the area.
Thanks for the cache jpgordo,

Staying in Roma for a couple of days, and today, we decided to drive up past Injune to do the Arcadia Valley loop, including Lake Nuga Nuga for lunch. That meant passing about ten caches, so we decided to pick up the ones on the left hand side going north, then catch the rest on the way back.
We stopped here for coffee and cache, but was disappointed, had to had a biscuit instead. No sign in the obvious spot. Expanded our search - have to report a DNF

After setting up camp at the racecourse. We ventured out to find the 4 local caches.
Stopped for breath testing & the officer asked what we were doing. We told him geocaching. His reply was there is 4 in town 2 to the north & 2 south of where they were set up.
Found the cache about 15m from where the GPS said was GZ

Hi there jpgordo - we're staying in Roma for a week of R & R and a little bit of Geocaching of course! Today was a day trip to Injune - a pretty little town to the north through some really beautiful countryside. SL. This is our find #4656 - thanks to jpgordo for this cache.
There were muggles right at GZ when I arrived so I went and did the Train and when I came back they had gone. Like for others the GPS was off a bit, but the hint was good in the end.
Bike ride through Injune to locate all geocaches. Pity people see this side of loading ramp as a toilet.
Found at 1051. Well we have left Roma to continue our trip to Alice for the Mega. This is one of the Smileys we hoped to pick up on our way north. A surprisingly quick find. TFTC.
Stayed the night at the racecourse. Found on our way out to Carnarvon Gorge NP.

Having found the cache at the nearby train, and before taking off for the next step on our camping trip, we went to the truck stop to look for this cache. Had a few misses at first, but after expanding the search area slightly we soon had the cache in hand, about 10 metres away from where the coordinates first led us.
Might have been looking too hard or not hard enough but we couldn't find this one today.
Staying at the van park here in town so we had time to pick this cache up before tea. The co ords were a bit out but when we widened our search we found the cache O.K. Thanks
Missed it last time through here because of large van parked very close. No trouble this time. Thanks.
Thanks for helping us discover that fuel at the back was 6 cents per litre cheaper than the one on the main road. TFTC
Our last cache in Injune and we found it in June!!! Makes you wonder how this town got its name in the first place.
Thanks a quick find made here in a deserted area.
Thanks a quick find made here in a deserted area.
a nice large area to pull off for lunch, as well as find a cache thanks
Found what we believe is the location but no cache, and yes co ords are a bit off. The whipper snipper man has just done his job so that may have some bearing on the cache???
This was our first stop on our way home from Carnarvon.
Coords were a bit off for us but the hint helped lots. We spread our search area and soon found the cache.
All good here.
Thanks jpgordo.

Happy to see some familiar names in the log.

There were some trucks in here today but they weren't near GZ so we made the find and sign without arousing any suspicions. On the way out we got chatting to a couple who'd been transporting a harvester. We'd overtaken them earlier near Springsure on our trip from Virgin Rock to Injune. TFTC
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
After a superbelous few days up at Carnarvon Gorge National Park along with striderflynn, it was time now to head back home, and what better way then to grab a few caches along the road back This one was next up on our list for the day, so we pulled up around the back, and although there were a few other groups around, we managed to pull up close, and shield ourselves away from being spotted A great spot to rest the legs, and after a quick search we soon had the cache in hand, and our name added to the logbook [^]

Travelling around Australia in our Caravan with our cat.
Camped at Roma Gun Club with our friends Sylken and their cat, today was moving day. With a little delay due to a chiropractic visit for Mrs Felix we were on the road by 10.30.
Enjoyed visiting the 3 sites allowable by stopping with the caravan and took plenty of pictures at Gunnewin Train stop.
Once camp was set up at Injune then we headed out to grab the 3 smilies in town. Plan is for an oh so early wake up call to attend the Dawn service tomorrow! oh will we survive.
