TFTC. Cache could use maintenance as it is wet inside due to holes in container. Nice location and a quick pick up.
OCW Tinkerbell. Found easily following hint. Original log book was damp and mouldy! Luckily replacement was dry in plastic bag. Contents all damp and rusty as lid has hole. Nice walk through bush otherwise. TFTC
Found it on a beautiful Wednesday while staying in the area. A nice stroll through the bush and a quick find, the container is still damp but the new log is holding up ok, the inside pages are ok for signing. TFTC
We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the Central Coast, staying at the Norah Head Holiday Park for a few nights, and plan on collecting some local caches during our short school holiday visit. Today we headed down to The Entrance, to have a stroll along the beach front and collect a few caches along the way. This was our 10th find of the day, and our 46th find of the holiday.
After a late lunch we went for a walk from our cabin, at the caravan park, to the Norah Head lighthouse. Picked up this one as we were passing, ducking off the nature trail and up to GZ for a quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found.
It's a nice big cache container, but unfortunately it's very wet inside. The replacement log is currently dry, but won't be for much longer as it's plastic bag is ripped down one side. TFTC InnocentApple.

Happy 2nd Geo-birthday to us! We celebrated this with a day caching in the Central Coast, from Norah Head to Toukley on this occasion. Threatening weather sent us packing after 9 finds and 2 DNFs. International Earth Cache Day will see us return before the week is out!
Quick find at GZ, good coords despite tree cover. These containers are dreadful in the weather, anywhere outside of a kitchen I'd say, and contents were wet today. The old logbook looks rather biohazardous even. The new logbook is about to suffer the same demise I predict, as its ziplock is torn.... Thanks InnocentApple

Yups, it was soaking wet again. Emptied the container of excess water, signed the new log. TFTC!

Waterlogged...emptied water out but bag log is in, is torn...will need a new bag. ..Please be mindful...This is a bush regeneration area.
Found our first geocache!!! So happy!!! (A small open container of rice would help with the condensation.)
11:40:00 AM. Parked near the roundabout and made the short walk to GZ. Found and log signed. Didn't realise we could have walked to the light house. Thanks InnocentApple for placing this cache.
Found quite easily although hiding from muggles was difficult. Left one of my favourite quotes in the new logbook - "until they become conscious they will never rebel, and until after they have rebelled they cannot become conscious" - 1984. Tftc
Not quite sure what is so 'Favourite' with this one. We parked by the cafe and walked up along the pathway, and then bashed a bit into the bush. We found the large container lying almost out in the open. The old logbook was completely soaked, and is probably beyond rescue, but we signed the new log before trying to hide the cache a bit better than before.
Took us a bit due to trees down with recent storms but got it! Geokid very excited!
Enjoyed a walk up the nature trail with Ausfeet and the geo-hounds while grabbing a few caches along the way. The logbook in container was very waterlogged, added a new notepad in a ziplock bag, should hold up for a bit. tftc had a great time
Cache needs attention. Contains water. Log Book in bad condition. Dried out container and replaced lid.
Done there for a wedding. Found the cache but it was super wet. Log book so wet we couldn't even open it. LFTC hopefully next time we are there we can sign it.
Contacted my geocacher who looks after this to have a look and replace where necessary. Awaiting report.
Found with tassie expat while up from Phillip island. Log wet, unable to sign. Tftc
Last (2nd) day of frmen1 and I's whirlwind visit from Phillip Island. Tipped water out of container. Able to write on log, but disintegrated TFTC
After trekking thru the bushes and then realising that there is an actual track we found the cache however the log was wet thru.. Great spot thanks
Out with JJCC and Count Jacula for an afternoon cache run in order to find our daily cache to keep our streak going.
Finding several caches in Budgewoi earlier we all came out to Norah Head for a swim in the rock pool. Afterwards we ducked around the corner in order to find this cache. Enjoying the short walk to GZ, the cache was found quickly - great to find a cache container of this size. With the log safely in hand we all signed (more like etched) the log and then replaced as found. Unfortunately the log has been badly water logged and is currently in a state of decay with the paper now going slimy. CO maintenance is required (has been previously logged as such)
TNLN.
Eight TBs visited - Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Purple, Stuart geoMinion, Vanlith The Youngling.

Out with Team Merlin and Count Jacula and Geo family for a afternoon swim at the local rock pool we a geocache as were staying close by for a few days in order to find our daily cache to keep our streak going. Completing three caches this morning Budgie Island, HALI- Mackenzie Park and Fish & Chips vs Firewood Pizza it was time to find another.
As we were heading home after a swim we spotted a close cache which caught our eye as it was a large cache container. Back in the car we parked close by the indicated coordinates. With device in hand we now on foot we walked towards GZ along a marked path. Close to the indicated GZ our device pointed to a well worn Geo path off the marked walk way. Geo son was keen to make the find so headed off first and got caught by the spiky vines. Making a quick find of the cache in its hidden location as it was found in the first place we looked. On opening the cache container we were over whelmed with the smell of a drenched log and water inside the cache container. Now with log in hand. We all signed the log but very difficult due it being so wet. After removing the residue water we replaced as found. The log was extremely wet and the cache container was in poor condition. Our fourth find for the day.

On tour with KAT and a couple of apprentice cachers - Beautiful area - great walking track - The cache is still in place but the book has become extremely water damaged - We drained excess water out of the cache and replaced - Log signed - TFTC
Found with geo bub and muggle wife on a walk. Log is soaked but managed to sign. TFTC!
What a beautiful idea! Had a lovely time sitting and reading some of the quotes before adding another.. Will be amazing when the book is filled! Thanks so much a favourite from me, will have to source out the rest of this series! Cheers.
Found @ 11am on a beautiful spring day. A nice simple find in a nice short bush trail. It was very nice seeing all the local bird life. Left an inspiring quote from Hans Sprungfeld.

Found 1:22 pm. I was out and about to first off do an earth cache with a geobuddy but secondly do some caches since I haven't done much around here. I headed over to this cache with the geobuddy as a shadow. It was a relatively quick find as it wasn't covered much and due to its size. In fact I was a little surprised how little was in it. Unfortunately I didn't have my kit of goodies with me otherwise I would have dropped something off. I scribbled my log entry and replaced back as I had found the cache.
Thanks for the cache.

“I now have my own account and I am logging this old find under my new username.”
I found this great cache with my mum while on our Central Coast caching trip. We parked nearby and discovered a small path which lead towards GZ. We had some trouble searching for the cache in the thick vegetation - my GPSr wasn't helping either. We eventually found the good sized container before checking out the nearby lookout. I have found a Favourite Series cache near Canberra lately. TFTC!

Found this one while wending our North to attend the Central Coast Road Trip Event, Had a small problem finding a parking spot due to the Picnicing Muggles, Once that was sorted out it was a quick stroll to the GZ for a quick find. Not sure how this large container survived the fallen tree but all good nor a scratch
Nice Cache.
Thanks for the great adventure

I made a quick find here today and exchanged TB's. A very nice walk through here, thanks.
As we approached GZ there was a Big Tree that had smashed down and cleared an area of about 5 Sqm.
How surprised were we to find this Container in one piece.

After two false starts (Tues & Wed) when we turned back due to the weather, we finally made it back to the Central Coast for some more smilies.
After entering the walking track the long (wrong?) way round we got close to GZ to find a group of school kids, and teachers, doing some sort of project involving some sort of electronic devices. Waited for the them to move off them went in for the find. Nice size cache but nothing in it except a TB which we took, and a plectrum (too soft for Mr C), and the log book of course, which we signed. Left a penny. Thanks E.M & Ena

Out and about nearby, so decided to detour in to Norah Head for a couple of caches.... Parked as directed nearby the cafe (shame it wasn't the one I collected a free coffee card for in the last cache) and headed along the bush track into the quiet nature reserve. Ass I approached GZ, I could see a tree had fallen in the recent storms, but not to worry, as the cache was sitting out and proud waiting for me - and wow, such a large container.....but sadly the big box had only the logbook within, so I signed it, and dropped in the Arc De Triomph TB to keel it company for awhile, maps I didn't have my swag bag with me. I didn't read the cache page asking for my quote till afterwards, so I've left one of my favourites here....I left the box covered with more camo this time, so it should be fine for the time being.
Thanks for the cache EM & Ena!

Found night caching with Tombi. We headed down to clear out the Norah Head area. Our second one in Norah Head. We parked at the gates for the light house even though they were open as we were not sure if they would close and lock us in. It took us a few minutes to find the path to walk along. once found we followed it all the way to the light house stopping to find the caches along the way. We were surprised to find such a large container at this one. Though it wasn't very well covered. TFTC.
Found with Orrsome86 on a Thursday night geocache run. I had been to the light house a while ago for the full moon event and that time we got kicked out and the gate locked. This time the gate was still open, but we did not want to get locked in, so we parked just outside it and walked in. We looked for a way to this track, but ended up walking backwards and towards the water to find the start of the path. This was a really nice path and area. Unfortunately after the storm there is a fair few trees down around, including GZ. After jumping a few trees we spotted the large container uncover, but not visible from the track. Hopefully it will not be removed when/if they clean up the fallen trees. We did not leave any quotes behind in the large log book (only our names). We then continued along to another cache I had already found, but in a different spot, before walking out to the light house.
Thanks for the nice night walk and larger container!

Found today while on a walk, came across this one sitting out in the open, after a tree had fell over clearing the area. TFTC
Almost didn't believe when I saw this cache was listed as a large due to its location but it indeed qualifies as such. It's always nice having a nice big logbook you can actually fit your name on.

Great to see a big one so close to civilization. Also the first time that i have gotten a Yo-Yo to work in my favour! TFTC!!!
Camping in the area and wanted to make this find being a large cache. Funny though as took a little while to find such a large cache but geo mum finally made the find. Not where we thought would first be. Watch out for the spikes on some plants. Bit of a bush bash. Lots of muggles curious to what we were doing. Made the find finally and made it as quick as possible. Thanks for large cache. Not many swaps though. Lovely place.
First day of our break up here. Nice walk in and great container size and camo(from the last hider I guess).

Mr Roo brought us out to Norah Head to explore and grab a few caches. What a lovely spot and walk - I just love the places caching takes me. Thanks again
I had to go to Erina Fair this morning and when I finished, I thought why not take a little drive and pick up a couple of nearby caches that I hadn't previously done. One thing turned to another, and a few hours later a couple had turned into 10 or so finds. Oh well, that's what happens when you're retired with time on your hands.
This one was a pretty straightforward find after a nice walk along a well maintained bush track ... surprisingly for a weekday, muggles proved to be a problem here ... I had to hang around on the track until muggles went passed me, then some more walked by while I was opening the cache, and then more again as I exited the bush back onto the track ... luckily, I was able to "study" some handy banksia men while they looked my way!
Thanks to EM & Ena for placing this cache (and such a large one at that) along this pleasant walking track.

Companions: 3 Geokids
Muggles: None
Weather: Hot and sunny
Cache condition: Good, if bare
I was on a camping trip with the kids, and we were spending the day at the fantastic beach and rockpool (for children, if not for those who like waves). We had spent the morning at the rockpool beach and then had lunch at the cafe, after which I decided (unilaterally) that a walk was in order, to the lookout point along the track. The kids grumbled a bit on the way but spotted some wildlife, which created some conversation. Once near GZ the 2 boys followed me to the container, which was visible from the path, while geogirl stayed on the path. We signed the log, hid the container a bit better, then headed back to the path. We continued on to the lookout, which didn't overly impress the kids (they'll learn about views!), then headed back to the beach for a fun afternoon. TFTC

Had done the two down in Canberra of this series and thought hey why not grab this one on the last day of 2014. Got to gz on the bike and discovered that I had just gotten a flat tyre. Bugger long walk home. Found the cache quickly good to see a good sized container TFTC. Cya next year
#1504 - Wow, what a whoppa. Left the loaded bicycles at the reserve and did the short walk along this track on a heating up day. M sighted the cache pretty quickly from her approach.
Lovely weather today, enjoyed drive around of your caches area closer with geomum, enjoyed walked to little nice track to off to GZ, awesome big cache, sign it as hide well no trouble... Thanks
Found while heading south for a holiday cruising with the pprass's.

Found at 2:17 PM GAFF1 in the company of Browngang. We didn't quite know which way to approach this cache, so we decided to go the "geocaching route" [^]. A nice big container which was devoid of goodies was soon spotted and then it was on! The mozzies found us, so we quickly signed the log book without entering a quote and scarpered [B)]
So here is one of the quotes that brings a smile to my face from Mark Twain - "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

Nice cache, though it is looking a little empty (only thing in there aside from the log was a pen and a yoyo). Not sure the container is fully waterproof, as the log was a little damp. Not too bad though.

This was my first genuine night cache. Wandering down the hill from event tonight Riokun and I decided to bush bash 52m only to come across a perfectly functional track after 42m quick find under a full moon. great fun though! We used the track on the way back out - it practically backed onto my car. TFTC

We were in the area for the Super Full Moonevent and decided to find a few local caches before it started. As it was a very cold and windy afternoon we grabbed a couple of hot chocolates from the nearby cafe before heading to the cache. We both love the trees around here. We had the area to ourselves for a quick find.
