Logs
I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, GeoJake21, requesting additional time.
Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned.
In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party.
Thanks,
Balayang

###Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###
This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.
I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner.
The cache owner needs to:
* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.
* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log
* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present.
Otherwise :
* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information..
**Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**.
Alternatively:
* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by GeoJake21 and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.
[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)
**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.
If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache.
*Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.
Thank you

Out in the hills today for an event at Hardinge Park in Orange Grove. Met up with Leg5 and 777Tiger to grab some caches prior.
Came back here today to avenge a previous DNF. 777Tiger made me look like a fool by finding the cache in 30 seconds flat. Cheers GeoJake21!

G’day GeoJake21, unfortunately I wasn’t able to find your cache today (Monday 1/3/21 at 13:24). Cheers for the hunt anyway!
t shops for afternoon tea with Tessplus3 & Hippo380 on our to look at z van in lesmurdie TFTC
I had to sit and look around for a while, in the end it was right in front of me
Hmm my GZ was not near any tree so started looking for trees that had been pruned back in 2014 - only one comes to mind but no luck for me today
Found after just a few minutes of looking but not where we expected given the hint. If this tree has been trimmed recently then it was completely unnecessary as it’s obviously been dead for years
Little sucker was wedged in place. Luckily I was in the work ute and had the tools to free it. TFTC Geojake21.
Out with B12 and Larry.
Picked up this and many more in the area. A cold wet and miserable day however map turned from green dots to smilies TFTH
GeoJake21 We found your cache Hills Nano Hunt #8 thanks for placing this cache for myself and others to find.

Out today for a caching run with Lazarus68 and Cravo10.
Starting off we headed down and grabbed the new duck43 cache which we had failed to grab the night before mainly due to the gz being a way off
We headed down to North Dandalup to pickup a couple of GC caches and some GCA caches including a FTF, which I may log one day.
We then headed to Kalamunda where we chased down a number of local caches that eluded us on our last major visit to the area back in 2016. We did manage to secure a FTF, which was published last night amongst the madness of securing my 1000th first to find.
Thanks to all the local COs for a big day out.

With some cool weather forecast this morning I decided to do some caching in the hill, and this area looked good as there were several puzzle caches here I'd solved some time ago.
Took a few minutes as the coords are a good 10-15m out but got there eventually. TFTC

A nice quick find as it was laying on the ground out in the open. Signed the log and tucked it into a crevice.
Found while out and about caching in Lesmurdie.
TFTC GeoJake21 this is find # 3946 for us.

We DNFd this one a little while ago, then I saw jasenjanine's log & thought we would have another try. I feel vindicated as there was no way we could have found it on our last visit. The fallen trees have now beeb sawn up & taken away leaving only a stump. TFTC
Was in the area & stopped to find this cache on my travels... This one was a quick find, however the hint was misleading as I would call it more of a stump than a tree!

Arrived at GZ and our hopes fell just like this lovely wattle tree had done, despite a good search we came up empty handed. This one might need checking on if it was in the wattle tree. RIP Glorious Wattle tree
I wonder if the tree that has recently fallen is THE tree. We looked all over it & others.
Decided to try a few caches on Mother's Day on our way home. Took a while but Mrs's P ( the mother )found it.
Mrs Jinta and made a plan to head away from home for a morning of cache finding and managed to get our name on the log book in this cache, placed by GeoJake21. It was nice and fine today and we kept following our GPS to the next cache with no real set plan . Once again a big thanks to the CO's for placing these containers out here for us to find [^].
GeoJake21 - jinta29 found your cache Hills Nano Hunt #8 on 7/11/2016, 9:25 AM. This is my find #5988 and find #6 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and contributing to this game we love so much!

Megawat60 and I were in the area and went for a hunt. Looked at many possibilities, then I read out the hint and we narrowed down the search, after which he found the well concealed bison tube. TFTC!
Hunted around a few knots & twists in various trees but couldn't find it. Please check if still there. Thanks
Up in the hills again this afternoon to see if I could track down a few caches.
A quick find here thanks to the hint.

Not on Dz but only tree matching the description. Hard to find but where it said it was
A quick and easy find here, and thankfully the rain has stopped for now. Thanks for the cache GeoJake21!
Dropped off mum after church then decided to go on a Nano Hunt before heading home. Most were quite quickly found, mainly due to good hints provided, as my nano finding history leaves much to be desired!
Managed to search for and find all bar 1 in the series.
Thanks for the tour of this area of the suburb and for the cache GeoJake21.

Out for an afternoon of caching with the SykesKids. Soon found this one and the co-ords were pretty close. Nice hint Jake, soon had the cache in hand. Wish that they were all that easy! TFTC GeoJake21.
Up in the hills again today with Chwiliwr and his Better Half. Grabbed this one after visiting the nearby shops. Thanks GeoJake21
Aquick find with JacobsCrew and iluvtrekking on a full days caching in the hills area. Thanks GeoJake21
Beautiful weather with another big caching day with Richlinks and Iluvtrekking, in the hills this time, quick find here.TFTC
Out and about with richlink and JacobsCrew finding a few caches in the Kalamunda area. We made a quick find here. Thanks GeoJake21.
I decided to come back up to this area again for a few hours of caching before it got to hot. Once the muggles disappeared i found the cache quickly TFTC GeoJake21
Decided to make a quick stop with master 1 and found it exactly as supposed to. Thanks you
After lunch Chwiliwr and I decided to come up to Kalamunda to pick up all the new caches published since we were last up this way.
Arrived and parked at Northold Rd, made our way up to GZ and then had to wait for a muggle to lose interest in us before making a quick find of the cache.
Thanks GeoJake21 for the cache.

It's late now and I'm getting hungry, so what do we smell when we get out of the Geocommodoreute?? Fish and chips!! You've got a special talent GeoJake21, making people feel even hungrier.
Thanks goodness for a quick find here, we'll wait for more of your hides. And well done to the Fernandogirls for FTF's on these four.
TFTC.
