I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, Fernandogirls, requesting additional time.Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned. In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party. Thanks,BalayangCommunity Reviewer - Australia

Out for a drive to the Hills on a very wet public holiday Monday, the first day of Autumn too. Quickly got saturated in the, at times, driving rain. Enjoyed a hike around Mundy Regional Park, something I had not done in a while, and picked up a number of caches around the Lesmurdie area. At times I was dripping wet, but all in all an enjoyable day.

Found what I was looking for very quickly. It was in a position that looked like it was just chucked back. Log was a bit tatty. I replaced it back in the exposed fashion it was found. Cheers Fernandogirls! Big Grin

No luck here.

14-Oct-19
No luck here. The area to search is a bit big for the item we guess we are looking for. Possibility of leaf litter cover and our GPS had us anywhere from near the sign to just at the bottom of the decline.
There are so many unloved/orphaned caches in the general area you lose heart of finding many.
Maybe we will get back and have another look...maybe not.
Cheers.

Not sure what I was doing the first two times as I found it immediately this go around. Had it moved as found it in the open? Anyways, good to get a win. TFTC Fernandogirls.

Day 276 of our 356 day straight challenge. Out for a day of geocaching with some of the BigSchultzFamily.

This one took a while but perseverance paid off and we were rewarded with a find. Log was a bit worse for wear so we added a fresh sheet of paper. Replaced as found. TFTC Smile

TFTC! Spent the day out caching with Barnzy12 and krabiBoy. We went to the suburbs of Lesmurdie, Kalamunda and Carmel chasing a number of quick and easy park and grabs, a few
Archived caches, and a few caches that helped fill some DT Grid.

We changed the dynamic up today, Barnzy Drove and i instantly regretted the decision not to take my car however it was due for a service and i was now the navigator. So we picked KrabiBoy up from Bayswater area where he was getting some extra bits added to his car.

We chased a heap of nanos and micro caches in Kalamunda, a few of which seemed to be missing, which was quite frustrating, and we had some DNFs through there. We then avoided other micros in the area and concentrated on some simple park and grabs to get the numbers up for the day.

We then moved our attention to the lesmurdie falls national park and grabbed a few odd caches in there including a nice and simple Earth Cache.

We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs. The outback jack series was next which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.

Thanks to the COs for a Great day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

For a long time, Barnzy12, cravo10 and I have been trying to tee up a day to head out and grab some caches. Finally the planets aligned and we were able to get out and about today.

We headed up the hill to start clearing up some of the caches around Lesmurdie and Carmel.

After a decent search, cravo10 came up with this one.

TFTC Fernandogirls.

Fernandogirls, I found your cache AA on 7/07/2016.
This is my find #2758 and find #3 today.

TFTC! Spent the day out caching with Cravo10 and krabiBoy. We caches out the suburbs of Lesmurdie, Kalamunda and Carmel chasing a number of quick and easy park and grabs, a few
Archived caches, and a few caches that helped fill some of KrabiBoys DT Grid.

We changed the dynamic up today, with Cravos car in for a service we had to take my car and have me drive and him on the Nav, which is an interesting role reversal from the norm.

We encountered some decent terrain through the area, which really got the heart racing and even had me forgetting to navigate us to the last cache in a small loop we grabbed!!

We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs before turning our attention to the last loop I had left of the outback jack series, which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.

All in all it was a great day, with many tall tales told and war stories shared. A fair bit of piss take on my driving skills and Cravos navigation skills until we decided to restore order by having Cravo drive my new car! Which thankfully came
Back in one piece.

Thanks to the COs for a lovely day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

Headed up into the hills for a bit of caching & this was one we found on our travels... We weren't too sure what was the best approach for this one, but after a bit of head scratching & rummaging through the bush I soon stumbled across the cache Smile Thanks Fernandogirls!

Out for some caching this afternoon, and this was the first stop on my list. Today this was an easy find in a spot where I have looked before, and it definitely wasn't out in the open like that previously. I covered it up with some of the local materials before I left.

Glad to be able to come back and turn a previous frown upside down. Thanks for the cache Fernandogirls!

31-Aug-14
I came back for another go at this one today, and searched the area again, with a few different ideas about what the cache might be. Maybe a bottle of beer? Spent some time crawling through the spikey terrain from all sides directions and angles, but didn't come up with the cache. Hopefully I'm just blind...

24-Aug-14
I couldn't find this one either Sad boohoo! The GPS had me going up and down, in and out, with the closest to GZ being the large pine tree. I searched all around the area, even on the other side of the path, and used the hint and the previous logs, but couldn't locate this one.

21-Aug-14
mmm I wanted this cache because it was hard to get too. Interesting cache too. I meant to take a photo - might yet later - every cache should have a photo of its good points.

25-Jun-14
Parked around the corner then slithered down the slope. After spending quite some time getting pricked and scratched from the dryandras and trying to get a fix on GZ, eventually read back over past logs and got a good hint from one of them. Then the little blighter was finally spotted. Luckily had come across one of these before so was able to sign the log.
Thanks for the cache Fernandogirls.

Up in Kalamunda to keep the streak going today, found three caches in about half an hour.

This one took a bit searching but eventually spotted the clever cache. Had a 'Doh!' moment when I started to log the field note.

Very nice.

Out exploring with K.B. and we stopped at this cache during our travels. Thanks for the cache.

05-Apr-14
Parking was problematic at this cache on a busy Saturday. With my buddy left in the car on the corner, I slid (quite literally!) down a gravel slide and eventually discovered the well hidden cache. With the pen up in the car, a photo was taken and a lesson learnt to return the pen to the pocket for moments like this when returning to the car to grab it are not practical. Great track nearby (and a lot flatter than the embankment I'd slidden down) for the girl's training. Thanks Fernandogirls.

Back up this way for another caching day with Luna Maya.
We had a great day even though it was quite warm. I ended up with 22 finds and a couple of DNFS. We even managed to get a FTF while we were up here. Most caches were found quite quickly with a few that took a bit of searching. After a lot of crawling around and getting a lot of scatches the cache was finally found TFTC Fernandogirls

(late log)

After lunch Chwiliwr and I decided to come up to Kalamunda to pick up all the new caches published since I was last up this way.

It was difficult to find a way into GZ without being scratched to bits by the vegetation. Once there we searched the most likely object a couple of times before I finally found the cache.

Thanks Fernandogirls for the cache.

This one was disabled yesterday when we came up here to grab a few more of Fernandogirls 'caches so it was time to get back here now that it's up again. Pushed through the scratchy stuff and had a quick find. Now we feel charged up again, (AA charged, that is).

I was at work when the new caches notifications came through and I had to wait until 5.30pm to consider the FTF run. I checked the phone after work a noticed that no one had log a find so in the car from Canning Vale to try my luck. On the way the police were doing a Booze Bus test and I had to wait to get through this traffic. DNF here as the sun is going down and I just struggled with the trees around...TFTH
