Couldn't find it. There is a tree down from recent storms so not sure if that's impacted it.
Deserves an FP. I'm surprised about the difficulty rating. Thanks for the CacheFind#201Search/SL Time=5M/15:09Today Found/DNF=8/1
Didnt find. Sad. Will have to come back another time and try again. Was quite hard ngl.
TFTC. Cache and contents in good condition. Spot this one when standing on the track looking up and around.
Looked and looked, was convinced it was in the cemented rocks, but nada. Will come back later
The last Dam cache for us along this track.
I initially started looking where the GPS said, at a certain spot. No luck there.
TG again found a clue within some older logs and voila, she saw it.
It is quite obvious when you eventually spy it.
An excellent hide!

Found it. Very tricky to find almost gave up but found it eventually. Log book a little damp but not to bad. Packaging has a hole in it
A very clever hide, third in a series of great caches. From a fellow scouter, thanks for the time and effort on this series of the caches in a lovely part of Tasmania! TFTCs - Adam & Kahlia
One of our favourite finds for the day. Thank you
If not for reading others clues, we woodn't have known where to look. Great hide.

This was a fun find and an extra challenge as i had no reception. So no clues.
Had to try and think like one who would hide caches for this. Lol

I actually felt this one multiple times thinking it couldn’t be it. I looked around for so long and was gonna give up, I gave the suspicious thing a little feel again and that was it , great cache
A bit late posting but we did a maintenance run through the area.
All in good order
All in good order
Searched and searched for this both on the way there and on the way back, but alas it eluded me.
Well, my muggle CotE said "Do you want to go and find some caches?" What is a man to do? I have never walked this track in spite of being a local. This is the first for the afternoon. GPSr had me a few metres off and I was just thinking "Now where would I hide a cache here?" when I looked up and saw something that had no other reason to be there. SL
No find for me today so it looks as if I will have to walk up that dam hill again sometime in the future.
out and about with Lil Rafa caching, got to this GZ And the cache was spotted quickly, easy find with clues TFTC TNBPLN log dry, a nice walk on a nice day.
Thanks for the cache TazScout.
RLD4963 and I were in Launceston for the weekend. This was an area we had visited before, but we had the GsoGSP with us then so we couldn't take him along this walking trail. As the GeoGSP was back in Hobart at his doggy pet resort, we decided to do a few caches in an area that we couldn't when we had the GeoGSP.
After a DNF at the previous cache, and a long search at the first one on this trail, it was a relief for this one to be a nice quick find.

Did a maintenance check last week to make sure the log was ok etc.
All is well and thanks to those who've taken the time to search this one out.

Thanks for finding it and removing the houseguest, I keep meaning to go check on these good to know this one is all good.
Found it.
Very well hidden.
It’s definitely here btw.
Did vacate a spider from its home though.

We spent a good 30 minutes hunting for this one but gave up in the end. There is a hole that was recently dug at GZ. We weren't sure if this accounted for the DNF or if we just couldn't see for looking
Tassie Trip Day 189 - This was a day the it was decided to collect the oldest cache in Tassie and along the way we found a few more to add to the list of found caches. It was a wonderful place for a drive and a great day to see some sights.
Made my way to GZ and then looked at the indicated spot but it was not the spot and after looking around something was notice that was a little different than the normal so made my way to the odd looking spot and there it was an easy find.
Thanks for this TazScout for this place to enjoy another find on this stroll through the country side.

Thanks TazScout for this cleverly constructed container. It was a quick find only because we have seen this type of hide before.
I have only one more to find in the "Dam nice" series but I bet it won't get better than this one. I was up, I was down, I was around, I was under, I was over, I was everywhere...or so I thought. Sat down, had a think, checked out the hint (again!), read some previous logs and started thinking a bit more, sat down again, saw something interesting, no, not the cache, yes THE CACHE. Gets a favourite from me. TFTC.
Great hide. Well hidden. Hard to find with a geo baby strapped to the chest. Made bending quite hard. Signed log
After my morning bike ride, I headed up to trevallyn to find one of the few yet to be found to continue my daily streak.
I sat down and look at the hint and had a think of where this might be. I stood up and walked away then turned and saw something that looked a little strange, funny enough it was a cache.
Great hide.

Fantastic hide. Beat geokid to this one. Even after I showed him where it was he still wasn't convinced!
It was a good thing that the GPS was pointing somewhere else as it made spying the cache much easier. TNLN. TFTC!
I actually really like this cache, well done.

Hi there TazScout.
We found your cache **"Dam nice picnic"** at 1:00:00 PM today. (This makes our grand total 18974).
We are camped in Launceston for a couple of nights, and today we headed to Lake Trevallyn to log a few caches. We thoroughly enjoyed our trek around the area and ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes on our journey. Our find count for today was 5 caches, with 2 DNF's.
Thanks for placing the cache here. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels. We awarded this cache a favourite point for the hide. If you stand in the right spot you can see it from the track , but it is some way from the posted coordinates
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 8m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Every caching day needs a cache that drives you nuts
OK !! So it is not in the wall
I will look elsewhere.
Which was where the GPS said it was,
which of course wasn't where I found this cache
OK !! "Think If, Think !!".
Ahhh !! Fizzy cola
And it struck me that there was somewhere I had sort of looked at and dismissed to hide a cache
Closer investigation revealed that I had been ignoring the elephant in the room [:o]
And there was the something not quite right in the scenery.
I poked what I had found.
Well there had to be a cache there !!
And yep !!
There it was
Nuts to you !!

On a cool, wet and windy day we decided to go for a walk and pick up a few caches in the Trevally Dam region. This was the last one along the trail and proved to be the hardest to find for us. Having previously found 3 TazScout caches we were aware of the level of deviousness involved, but still searched high and low for quite a while before Mrs DaFiChNi started doing the happy dance. Such a clever and thoughtful cache. We loved it, and a favourite point from us. Thanks TazScout for organising another very sneaky and creative cache.
Looking in wrong spot initially as gps had zero m on the track. Finally looked in more obvious spot to find a well hidden cache. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk beside the dam...Tftc Tazscout...cheers ST.
Brought my non caching husband with me on a lovely Sunday arvo walk. He had a good look and actually found it without realizing. Love it! You are very sneaky. Thanks for doing this for us!
Lovely walk in the reserve today. Would never have known this was here. Favourite from me!
The coords seem to be a little off, but finally, the name of the container brought me a little closer and finally the cacher sense kicked in and I could sign the log.
Thanks for the clever hide, TazScout!

Haha love it i thought im either finding a geocache or destroying this thing here
After looking for a red herring a few m's away (intentional??), reassessed & cacher's instinct kicked in. Very nice & a great series - do I have enough fav points left for them all? Definitely one for this one. TFTC & a great series to bring up #200!
I spotted this one but got distracted with chatting to the CO while I think it was Egg that beat me to the find, it was yet another great cache with good company.
After attending the Trevallyn event we spent the day doing a loop of caches starting with The Knob and ending with Anyone for Equestrian six hours later, along the way we lost cachers and found leaches.
We started out with ten of us but finished with only 5 at each cache we were thinking we would meet up again but it never happened.
Thanks for the cache.

TazScout thank you for the cache.
This one was found while caching with a great group after the Trevallyn Trekking event.
I was still looking in the wrong spot when it was found.

A great little spot with views over the quite empty lake. We were probably all keen for a rest here! We only had a quick break while another clever cache was retrieved from its hide and the log signed. Imoresed by this one so a favourite point for sure. TFTC
AMAZING SPOT good container and as a bonus you can **sit down** and think for a little while ( I got there saw it but thought can't be it but it was)
Spent ages looking this cache. The GPS was not putting us anywhere near the cache. After reading through some logs, they point the way to the cache. TFTC
What an awesome hide! Very well done, we're certainly enjoying our geocaching adventures in tassie so far! Hopefully we will be able to find the two we have missed on the track so far on our way back to the car. TFTC!
This one had me looking for a while. The phones GPS was wandering all over the place and had me well off the GZ.. Took a seat and read through some old logs, then had another look around and spotted something that looked out of place which turned out to be a very well hidden and constructed cache deserving of another favourite point.
TFTC
Cheers

Huffed and puffed up the hill but was rewarded with a cache find that had us searching for a bit. Thanks TazScout.
I think I read the description a little too literally, thus discounting the spot where The Marble eventually found the cache! In the end, after searching high and low at the elevation I was on, I resorted to reading logs and in there, discovered a clue that led my geobuddy to the cleverly concealed and nicely crafted cache. Great work on that one! TFTC, TazScout. =^.^=
Main aim today was to walk this damn nice track and find some damn nice caches. As we had a few other walks to do Mr Beetle dropped me off and then drove around to the dam to wait for me. Had only walked about 150 metres when came across an echidna sitting on some rocks at eye level with me. He didn't seemed fazed and only wandered off after I had passed. Continued on to GZ where I found lots of other lizards, slugs and critters. After about thirty minutes and no cache I admitted defeat and continued on my way. On reaching the end of the track and finding the other three it was decided to return and have another crack at this one. This time Mr Beetle came too and I showed him the spot which our GPS identified as GZ. From there he immediately spotted this clever hide. It was good to be able to say now that we had found them all but frustrating for me that he found it so quickly!!! Thanks, a favourite point for this impressive hide.
Stopped by for a quick check on this one after a report of a damp log to find the log had been kindly replaced I think by FelixII.
Will say thanks in person tomorrow, cache is in good condition.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
Still struggling with the flu but Mr Felix decided that he would attempt a reasonable walk today. Whilst Mrs Felix was to grab only 2 caches 1 x 50metres from the car and the other 250 metres from the car.
Boy did we both struggle with our individual objectives this flu is horrid.
Found your cache here though. but it was anything but a quick find. Liked the cache though fave point.
Looking forward to meeting local cachers at the Event on 17th October.
