Turns out this hide is verry similar to one I have created elsewhere in the state. BUT it still had me going for a bit, and the wet and windy conditions weren't doing a lot for my determination to find and log. TFTC ausandaus2

Collected this one today with my children whilst on our last day in Tas for this trip. Was a very quick find as had found it years ago with my daughter when she was into caching and was not yet a member. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam

This was yet another very crafty cache which was well hidden however we found it very easily due to the very accurate GPS coordinates and the very limited hiding spaces at GZ. Thanks again ausandaus2 haven't been here since I was a lad and that's a long time ago lol...

Tassie Trip Day 51 - It was a nice day so another drive was in order this time a quick trip to Clarmont to find the barber as it was a recomendation from a local for a good hair cut. So after trying a revisit to a previous DNF we then went on to find some more caches in bridgewater first before going to claremont.

Well this was a rather distinctive type of cache that I have seen before and once at GZ it was soon found and the log signed.

Thanks for another of those distinctive cache container you are truly an inspiration to all ausandaus2

In Tassie for a couple of days to attend a family funeral and being I have never found a cache in Tassie before, I managed to squeeze in 30 minutes of caching time while the family was busy doing other things.

When I heard what had happened and I booked my flights, I had a quick look at the maps and seen this one was near where I was heading. Nice creative little cache here, enjoyed finding this one, a nice distraction from everything else going on.

Thanks for the cache placement ausandaus2 Big Grin

hi ausandaus2, I was in the area today for the world game, and had already found one of yours this morning. Then met up with Lil Rafa and the geoGSP for a spot of caching, and after a bit of a marathon at Equestrians Cache, we walked onwards to this one. It was refreshing to make an easy find here. THANKS!
Now to walk back to the sports ground to grab a set of wheels as Broadmarsh is a little too far to walk whilst waiting for only two games of soccer to be played.

08-Jul-17
Met up with EeePees today for an afternoon of geocaching in the Brighton area. We decided to stretch our legs (and the GeoGSP's legs) and took a stroll to this one. There was a large gaggle of geese on the other side of the road but the GeoGSP didn't notice them so we were able to approach without incident. EeePees soon spotted the cache and it was signed and returned quickly. Thanks for the cache ausandaus2, will need to return and take a walk along this track!

01-Jan-17
Happy new year. Would have been rude not to search a cache in the area when staying nearby. TFTC

30-Nov-16
I am familiar with this kind of hide, but still a neat hide that can have one looking about for a moment, which I did. The ducks and geese were on the other side of the river today. TFTC ausandaus2.

11-Nov-16
Found it! Were a bit worried the recent floods may have affected the conceal but brilliant hide. Soon sussed out. Kutgw

15-Jul-16
Was a bit concerned that it might of been washed away but still there. Log is wet though TFTC

15-Jul-16
Log was some what wet / damp but this could of been to do with the recent river height. We parked back up the road at the locked gate and walked down. Kids enjoyed watching the whirlpools as the water was sucked down and under the road.
JABs.

15-Jul-16
Checked today - Wet log has now been replaced. Cache good to go.

20-Mar-16
Eldest son Found before me ....
Quick find and lovely trail.
Jordon river is VERY dry ...
Wonder why, is it due to us pinching water further upstream or just part of the cycle.
Lovely spot nonetheless.
TFTC Smile

26-Feb-16
This was day 63 of our trip out of Sydney to visit the southern states of Victoria and Tasmania and was day 21 of the Tasmanian part.

This was a nicely hidden cache and a bit tricky to find. Thankfully there were no muggles around to hinder the search and on finding the cache we understood the hint better. After the log had been signed the cache was replaced where we found it. Thank you for bringing us to this area and for thank you for placing this cache for us and others to find. We are giving it a favourite point for being an interesting hide.
