Hi bach57
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

I thought it was good that we had timed the tide right for a change but what we had forgot to check was if it had actually been found didnt spend long looking after seeing the dnfs
Headed out this way to join up with a group to cache at Duder's Reserve. Left a few hours earlier to find a number of caches that I didn't have a chance to look for on my last visit in the area.
Saw the many DNFs but since I had to pass by I thought I'd give it a look. Searched around to no luck.

Today I rewarded myself with Geocaching all on my own, after having worked very hard in the last weeks and after having survived a birthday party of 12-year Olds at the weekend... I wanted to explore the surroundings of Beachlands a little bit and Geocaching is always a good way to learn about the area.
I couldn't find the cache though and reading the previous logs, I am not sure if it is still there...

Am certain this one has been washed away by recent storm as by reading the other logs, sounds like it would have fallen on the ground due to rusty chain but there are signs the water rises to atleast a meter here by the debris. May need replacing
A nice day to pick up some geocaches, enjoyed the sunshine and the fresh air, thanks for placing this cache
Straightforward find but unfortunately not hanging as metal rusted. Log wet, disintegrating and impossible to write on.
Lovely walk along the beach to this little group of caches. This was located ok but the wire has rusted and tentatively secured it but needs the wire attachment replaced at some stage as I suspect a good gust of wind will blow it to the ground. TFTC
We’ve looked for this one before - funny how sometimes a second attempt yields results almost immediately. Laughing now at how frustrated we were last time! very cool, but yes, log is too wet and it needs some new infrastructure...
Lovely place. Thanks for placement here. About cache ... logbook stuck inside and wet. Unable to take it out and sign it. Need some attention. Also wire is bit rusty. TFTC
Wow was expecting a long search but what do you know walked straight up to it. Log very wet
This plan had been some time in the making as neither Kiwis69 or myself had collected "Alice", so with arrangements made and time being set all we had to hope for was fine'ish weather.
Heading out from home at 5.30am (a sleep in compared to our normal starts) we headed off with great anticipation for the days activity. Having completed Alice successfully we thought to grab a few more from the area before heading back home.
This was the fifteenth cache of eighteen for the day as the day wore on. Our final walk of the day as we wanted to grab these along here and enjoy a little of the coast that Auckland has to offer.
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

Out and about exploring the area & finding some caches today along with C&D - having a lot of fun and a lovely day to be here. Didn't take long to uncover the hide, thanks to the good coordinates and helpful hint. Many thanks for the placement, TFTC
Found it Log very damp will need tweezers to pull out the previous logs as they are tightly packed in. Just wrote our names on piece of paper and put it in not sure how long it will stay dry for! Cute cache Thanks
Last full day in Auckland before heading home to Nelson tomorrow. Decided to head out in this direction to find a few caches. Uh oh. I hadn't checked the tide times before coming out here today so found that I had arrived not long before high tide. Manged to keep my feet relatively dry on the way out but couldn't avoid a bit of a splash on my way back to the car. Spotted this cleverly camo'd cache quite quickly. TFTC, Biggles.
Walked along the nice beach and found this one quite quickly. As the original log can't be retrieved fro ´m the container without a tool we added a small piece of paper with our signature.

I took the caching buddy, Josie for a walk and grabbed this as we past by. Log appeared to be mush and jammed into the bottom of the container so I couldnt get it out without destroying it. Should be OK to remove with some tweezers, which I didnt have with me. Thanks.
Found it although log was a soggy grey mush. Replaced with some scrap paper I had in pocket. Good camp.
Very cool camo!! found it but it was on the floor very difficult to open and unable to sign as log is wet have photo as proof if needed. Have now hung it back up, but log will def need replacing. TFTC
Looked twice for this one but could not find. Judging from previous post it many have gone missing?
Found on the deck, which has resulted in the log getting soaked. Needs maint. Great views. TFTC.
Out and about today enjoying the sunny day and getting a few cache finds. Nice hide here. SL. TFTC.
Easy find. And good camo. Thanks and greetings from Latvia!
This cache was my #1977 and was found at 17:37

I was in the area after deciding to go for a Saturday afternoon drive. This was a delightful quick walk followed by a quick and easy find. TFTC!
Very cool camo, deserves a FP from me I got scratched up a bit in the long grasses getting to it but it's a great cache! TFTC!
TFTC. This was a easy cache which was found quite fast. I enjoyed this one because it felt like an adventure. I had done this with steazzy_ , raven_eyes and stevecoxnz who had already completed. This was a good cache to do on Christmas eve apart from the rain
Went there in the dead of night. A couple of kiwis gave me an almighty freight
Out with some caching buddies for the evening (Sherlock the Puppy and Socialbizguy), with the mission being to find all of the Beachlands caches.
By the time we got up to these caches, it had got rather dark. However, armed with torches we set off anyway. It seemed to take quite a while to get to GZ, but we persevered, chatting away and laughing at Socialbizguy's surprised reaction as he landed square in the middle of a puddle, soaking his sock and his shoe
Once we got to GZ, we started looking on the wrong side, and I thought this was going to be one of those needle in a haystack type caches. But, fortunately, Sherlock the puppy decided to go around the corner, and found it quickly.
Very cool cache! Unfortunately, the cache container has come loose from it's host, and so if the CO wants this hide to last, it may need to be re-attached!!!
Thanks for the hide, and the fun walk in the dark!!!

Just found beach lands area one day. Exploring it is bliss!! A fav spot. Thank you
Hadn't got any plans for today so decided to head out this way and clear out a few more caches.
Noticed the low tide and decided to go for a walk along the beach. Found the right tree straight away and soon spotted the cleverly camo'd cache. I own one like this which helped too.
Thanks for the cache.

Found with Mrs McMike2012 while out for a bit of a walk around the area ... there being a few new caches in the general area since our last visit out this way ... the 6th of 7 for the day... the tide was out, as was the weak winter sun & the breeze stayed away ... all in all, a beautiful day for a stroll along the beach ... cache was easily retrieved, signed & replaced ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #942 for us.
Yippee- found one!! And what an excellent one it was- I might even do one myself one day.... If I can keep finding them I could really get into this Geocaching - some a little too subtle for me at the moment!!! I won't give up though
We like it. Miss Molly liked it too. Her favorite toy was out of reach. Worth a favorite. TFTC!!!
Found with Team Benny while visiting Pine Harbour for a relaxing morning out. Excellent hide! Finger nails came in handy Enjoyed the shelly sand and the pine smell. Nice view of eastern beaches across the mud flats. Thanks GC

I should really read the description before I set out caching :-p
But luckily the tide was low, and I was able to get the log out of the cache
