As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. This cache looks very lost. I've tried on multiple times to find it, as it is preventing us from placing one by our den for the guides and scouts. Have attempted a needs maintain. note to no avail.

No find since 2016 and 4 DNF's....can you please confirm your cache is where it should be, replace it or archive it, as we are trying to place one close to the Den for the guides and scouts and can't get it quite far enough away. Happy to leave it and find a new place if you are able to confirm your cache is still active. Thanks.

Our bad luck with Leeston caches continues. Maybe we misunderstood the hint, but pretty sure we were in the right place, the co-ords were spot on and despite using both hands (yuk, it was wet and dirty) and walking pole to flush out the cache from the ivy, it remained unfound.

We went for a Leeston Stroll, but had no luck locating the cache.

A cricket match was in full swing as I headed across the playing fields and past the scout hall to find GZ.
Dog guided muggles were a problem for a few minutes.
Once the coast was clear, the cache was an easy find thanks to the clue [^]

It was a nice little stroll to this cache, pity I forgot the pen so I had to battle the wind and run ALL the way back to the car to grab the pen but I needn't worry about going back to the cache the wind push me all the way! Found on a REALLY windy day out caching with my best friend Frizzledough.

Purdiepurdie & I came racing out this way to grab a FTF; we felt it would have been rude not to stop & find a few other caches (she had actually found a couple before, but I hadn't).

After working so hard on our "Horses 101" series we noticed we hadnt found a cache in over a month. So after heading to leeston for the horse and pony expo we made a day of it

Found 16 in total and 1 was a FTF

Not really strolling weather late this afternoon. With warm hat and jacket still good caching weather however.

A day away around the Lincoln, Rolleston, Leeston area. Had spent some time solving puzzles in preperation and managed to find quite a few too. Lots of Metal Mania (although my database didn't seem to load them all so I may have to return!), quite a few Angry Birds a handful of Mad caches and a smattering of others. Really enjoyed Drainage Hole. Thanks all for enabling an addict. Special thanks to Sveren - for the caches and for the chat when we happen to be at a cache together.

I do like the hint provided - quite apt. Some muggles have been writing in the book but at least they left it there. We did this as a drive-by as no-one was around to see us driving on the grass.

Coming back from Timaru, I noticed a small but rich vein of caches in this town and so took a smiley detour

Find #6 of 12 today (a most emphatic way to fill in a dot day)! Starting the slow run home, heading to Leeston for a food stop but had to grab the caches on the way in. As we left this one I saw a 4WD coming the other way and thought "hey, that looks like N!mrod"... turns out it was very likely as 2 caches later I saw his name in the log with today's date. Hi N!mrod!

Quick find. Today's trip took me to Lincoln, the Selwyn Huts, the west side of the Lake, Southbridge, the Rakaia Huts, Leeston and then back to Lincoln before heading home. TFTC (1509)

Didn't see this on the GPSr when I came through town. Will have to hunt it down next time I am in the area.

In the area for a FTF raid and thought I'd better stop by and visit the local caches. We have driven through Leeston so many times it was time to stop. Not much of a stroll as I parked my truck within 8m of cache. Nice quick find this morning I had the place to myself at 7am.

Mallorcatommy and I were on our journey through the southern island of New Zealand. With the help of geocaches we came to so many beautiful places, saw breath-taking landscapes and had, all in all a very wonderful journey! Thank you to all owners for placing all those nice geocaches!

On my home from the South Island Orienteering champs in Geraldine/Timaru over the weekend. I detoured via Leeston to clean up the few caches out this way. A quick find here. TFTC.

Bubs enjoyed being on Daddys shoulders while we walked across to get this one. Made it back to the car just in time as the giant rain drops fell.

Enjoyed the walk across the field to stretch our legs. Quick find once there. TFTC

Rolled into Leeston and there were cars going in all directions after the nearby show must have been finishing up. Got to GZ but nobody about so a nice uninterrupted search soon turned up the cache. TFTC
