This road is becoming increasingly dangerous, particularly the gravel portion. For the safety of everyone, including the locals I am closing down all of these caches in this series that are on this road. We also have a hoon issue in the area at the moment which is adding to the issue of safety. Thank you to everyone who has visited these caches.
After the previous DNF we were pleased to find this one rather easily.
But do we have enough info to open the final letter box?
All good with this cache.
TFTC.

Hi there Speedmistress. We found your cache "Hang Loose" at 11:32:00 AM today.
This was our 13th cache find in a caching run of 24 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9498.)
[Blue]
Today's cache run was to add to our current streak of "Most Consecutive Days" cached. With this cache the total now stands at 225 Days.
Today was a trip down memory lane for Ian, he spent quite some time in (and around) Cabarlah before he left the Army. Please excuse our boilerplate logs. It's not really a good excuse, but it is often really difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent. (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Woohoo! Almost there!
hang on...
...
...
we are missing one number and we have one number that we don't know where it fits in the sequence.
have no idea how we could have missed any numbers after going back to the beginning and starting again because we forgot to look in the first 3 or 4 caches [:o)]
...
panic?
..
oh no, this cache tells us to just hang loose
Continue on - this will just have to be a puzzle-hybrid-letterbox cache
Thanks for the cache today!

Today we did a full day of caching in Toowoomba region. From the town region & out to Cooby Dam.
All the caches we found were in good condition & some wonderfull & scenic locations.
We enjoyed our run doing the Cliche series, we collected the codes as we went.
Thanks for placing this cache Speedmistress

I spotted this one quickly, and then we were off for the final. Thanks for the series.
On our way up to Toowoomba to do Animal Alphabet Challenge when OrionJ mentioned that he wanted to grab a few letterbox hybrids. Not a problem for us even though we did both between Brisbane and the range. To our surprise OrionJ mentioned this new one just North of Toowoomba that we hadn't seen and a small power trail that went with it. Seemed perfect for today's adventures.

Eleventh cache in the series, and last one before the final. Quick and easy find for us. Log signed and we were off to the next one. TFTC and series Speedmistress

I really do like to find a good Letterbox Cache and I had seen this one a little while ago and really did like the idea of making the find next time I visited Toowoomba.
So today I was heading to Toowoomba with The Hunting Rabbit and had mentioned wanting to get the couple of Mailboxes. So this little trail gained a position on our list for the day.
----
Eleventh stop for the run today and last one before the mailbox. It did not take long to spot the target of our search as we approached GZ, and soon enough had the log and signed and we were heading for our final destination.

Impressive prickly pears nearby. Cache was quickly found and the log signed. Thanks Speedmistress.
The excitement was building in the back of the car as we were almost at the letterbox. It didn't take long to find this one and we were off. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC, Speedmistress.
Out and about today to find quite a few caches today.
This little series by Speedmistress was on my hitlist. Well there is a letterbox at the end.
Another quick find in this little series. Now onto the next one.
My road tyres on the car nearly did not let me get up this hill. I did not get up the hill from a standing start so had to back up till I could not go further then raced forward and juuuust made it over the top.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Found in company of the CO. We then had a guided tour along the entire Cliché series.
Then treated to afternoon tea with the CO.
A great afternoon.
Many thanks

Mistborn and I we're pumped to grab this cache and then get over to our first letterbox! Easy find, great end to a great series! Now on to the letterbox!
One more to go, all clued collected, on to the final ! Thanks for the cache, Andrew and Maryan
Found at 0911. A quick look into the bush in the direction that the GPS arrow was pointing and I had the hiding place. This was my last in the series I enjoyed it. even though I didn't get all the numbers so I couldn't do the last. The series was full of challenges some of my own making. Thanks Speedmistress for your efforts in providing this series.
Time to find some more of this trail and make entries in log books. Some of the logs in this series I signed YOF as youngoldfella takes up too much space on tiny logs. Next one to log is number 11. and the last one before the letterbox. Like the combination numbers that I was gathering. Parked in a safe spot and looked across to where the Gizmo was indicating GZ and something just stuck right out as being a little peculiar in this type of setting. Further out west you see this quite often. Walked over and thought this is a little obvious but what is obvious to the long time addicted may not be so obvious to newbies or relatively new newbies with few finds. Quick find and now off to open the letter box. TFTC Speedmistress.
The second last one for angloj and I today. Angloj made a quick find in a suspect place. TFTC Speedmistress
We were staying in Crows Nest for the weekend for a family birthday and after grabbing a cache the night before decided a 5.30am start to grab some caches along a newly released trail was in order while every one else slept in. A nice unusual hide. Tftc
I like to hang loose and take it easy and have a cup of tea or coffee.
Wandered into this one with the torch and were looking everywhere it could be and then the light of the torch showed it up.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Speedmistress All good with this cache

After finding the first three in this series we decided to drive to the end of the road to turn around to see where this road goes. We have lived out this way for two years now and have never ventured down this road. We spotted the letter box hybrid and now know where to come to finish this series.
