This road is becoming increasingly dangerous, particularly the gravel portion. For the safety of everyone, including the locals I am closing down all of these caches in this series that are on this road. We also have a hoon issue in the area at the moment which is adding to the issue of safety. Thank you to everyone who has visited these caches.
We did beat about the bush before finally spotting this one. Was actually lying exposed. After signing the log we re-hid it giving it a bit of cover. All good with this one.
Thanks Speedmistress

After beating around the bush for a while, this one was found! There was much excitement from one of the coeliac kids, who discovered that the container was gluten free . TFTC
Arrived at ground zero, and saw lots of forks on both sides of the road. So we split up, one of us on each side. Youngest team member found this one first.

Hi there Speedmistress. We found your cache "Beat the Bushes (with a fork)" at 11:04:00 AM today.
This was our 5th cache find in a caching run of 24 Finds & 0 DNFs today. (So this now makes our find count 9490.)
[Blue]
Today's cache run was to add to our current streak of "Most Consecutive Days" cached. With this cache the total now stands at 225 Days.
Today was a trip down memory lane for Ian, he spent quite some time in (and around) Cabarlah before he left the Army.
Please excuse our boilerplate logs. It's not really a good excuse, but it is often really difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Fair. (We found the cache around 8m N where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Arrived at gz and GPS started mysteriously turning itself off soon after turning it on. Battery bar was on full, so not sure what it's problems were. Fortunately a look in the obvious place using the title of the cache meant we had the cache in hand
A couple more times the gps turned off, and then gave up and started doing it's job again - phew. The phone is even more temperamental and would have made for a very frustrating series along this road..

Over thought this one, lucky geo wife looked from a different perspective. TFTC
Today we did a full day of caching in Toowoomba region. From the town region & out to Cooby Dam.
All the caches we found were in good condition & some wonderfull & scenic locations.
We enjoyed doing the Cliché Series. Left a TB
Thanks for placing this cache Speedmistress

A quick find by the Moose on a road with a surprising number of houses. Thanks for the hide.
On our way up to Toowoomba to do Animal Alphabet Challenge when OrionJ mentioned that he wanted to grab a few letterbox hybrids. Not a problem for us even though we did both between Brisbane and the range. To our surprise OrionJ mentioned this new one just North of Toowoomba that we hadn't seen and a small power trail that went with it. Seemed perfect for today's adventures.
---
Third cache in the series. OrionJ pointed the direction and Dr THR hopped out ready to make the find. Interesting title this one and after some scratching around the cache was in hand. Log signed and we were off to the next one. TFTC and series Speedmistress

I really do like to find a good Letterbox Cache and I had seen this one a little while ago and really did like the idea of making the find next time I visited Toowoomba.
So today I was heading to Toowoomba with The Hunting Rabbit and had mentioned wanting to get the couple of Mailboxes. So this little trail gained a position on our list for the day.
----
Third stop and again DR THR was off to take a look and was able to quickly make the find, the log got signed and we were back on the road to the next stop.

Glad I didn't need a fork to find this one. Cache safe and dry. Thanks Speedmistress.
We made quick work of this one with three of us dashing across to GZ to be the one to find it. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC, Speedmistress.
Out and about today to find quite a few caches today.
This little series by Speedmistress was on my hitlist. Well there is a letterbox at the end.
A quick start to this little series. Now onto the next one.
Thanks for the cache.

Mistborn and I had a great time doing this series. I think I took this title a bit too literally! Easy find in the end. TFTC!
Found at 0813. A quick find using the brackets. Didn't find any number in the lid or log book. TFTC.
The 3rd of 12 for an afternoon out with angloj. Another quick find. TFTC Speedmistress
I should have done this one yesterday as it is not that far from the corner but the plan I had in place yesterday is not the plan for today and even now that plan has changed. Parked in a safe spot and was aware that there was a person not that far distant. No traffic about. Found it after a very short search and replaced where found. I hope the remaining ones in the series are as easy to find as the first three but come what may. TFTC Speedmistress.
We were staying in Crows Nest for the weekend for a family birthday and after grabbing a cache the night before decided a 5.30am start to grab some caches along a newly released trail was in order while every one else slept in. Hunted a bit but soon found the right place. Tftc
I didn't bring a fork but I did find this cache.
Geopartner waited in the geomobile but got out to check if I had found it
No problems with the find.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Speedmistress All good with this cache

FTF: The co-ords were good on this one making it a quick grab by hubby in the place the name of the cache suggested. SL TFTC
We found the fork and the Cache, right where it is described. We signed our name and replaced the cam before moving on.
