Easy find, container full of water, bag full ow water, dried a spot and tried to sign with TW but this pen not a fan of wet paper. Manky.
My GPS kept going haywire in this spot, every time I got to 1mt it would point in another direction and say 5mt to go... GRRR maybe next time.
Took a while to find an entrance to this park, and a few more minutes to find the cache. TFTC
After a DNF at Sir John's Homestead I swapped parks across the road and after a brief walk was at GZ for this cache. A short search soon had the cache in hand. Signed log and replaced. tftc
20/2/16. 3:56 PM. Cache #3528. Streak day #608.
14th of 15 today - Glenmore Park & Mulgoa.
I headed out west this weekend for a bit of a Penrith plunder, today grabbing a few from the GP Fitness Freaks and FRACTURED PHRASES series. After taking a while at "Apple Gum Reserve", I was hoping for a quicker find here. As I pulled up and headed off into the reserve, I'm sure the neighbours sitting in their front yard were wondering what I was up to.
The tracks were easy to follow, which made up for the bush bashing I'd just done at the last one. On approach to GZ, I saw a likely hide and was rewarded with a quick find. Time for one more find, so off to "Historic Home Glenleigh" next. TFTC.

Enjoyed walking on the paths in this reserve. Found the cache and signed log, returning it to its home. TFTC
Prob not the best idea to do at night considering all the spiders you have to pass walking off the path. But after about 20mins we finally found it.
Out with my geokid (3 years). We had our treasure hunting sticks and were enjoying exploring the bush together. I spotted the "treasure" and encouraged him to come and search in that area. Talk about one excited boy when he found his first treasure. Took army man left pirate coin. Thanks.
#388 parked at one of the entrances and walked in through the gate followed the track and came to a junction then I seemed to start getting further away from GZ. Eventually the numbers started to go down and got to the stage when I would see if I could get there. Followed the GPSr and the numbers counted down to 1 metre, now where could it be hidden and checked a couple of spots but they weren't right and saw a third spot and it was the right one. That is one of the biggest Bison tubes I have found so far. Signed the log and replaced. Then found that there was a closer path and a closer car park than what I used. Well I do this for exercise. Thanks for the cache
The park was very quiet today considering it was school holidays or maybe it's just children don't play in parks anymore.
Cache was located in good order. Thanks

Punctured my car tire while parking for this one!! Did cache first and then had to do the tire exchange thing.

Decided to spend a few fun hours out Glenmore way today, and managed to grab 11 caches during a series of long walks - including a circumnavigation of Penrith Golf Club. Unfortunately there were also quite a few DNFs as well.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
After the last unpleasant GZ this one was a joy.
Nice bit of remnant forest and an easy find once I wandered to GZ.
Completed signing duties to soothing birdcalls and then walked to the next cache.

Found it really fast! Good container, a few things in but didnt take anything. Tftc
Found this instantly. In a obvious spot but is a pretty awesome find in a pretty cool container. Didn't take anything. TFTC
DNF. Confused is it a pouch or a sturdy container ? As cachers have said in their previous comments. Can someone provide more clues??
#130....just about to head out for a day of caching in Glenbrook with my caching buddy and got to the meet point a bit early so enough time to grab this little tree dweller ...... TFTC in this lovely little pocket of bush
Headed out after work to grab some caches. A quick find in a nice park. TFTC Iker1995

I had the day off so I decided to head out and tackle a few Glenmore Park caches!
I can't think of a better way to spend a sunny blue day
Thanks Iker!

After a short look around, found it. Co-ords off by 5m, still a good ewsy find. TFTC
After picking up “Welcome to Glenmore” I drove up to attempt this one. I parked in Regentville Road near Tench Place and enjoyed the stroll through the pleasant reserve to GZ. The coordinates seemed to be out by about nine metres today but I quickly spotted the hide and had CIH.
Thanks again iker1995, trisbam95 and ttocs95.

A quick walk and find after a nasty experience with an ignorant local who didn't know that dog leads work best when they are being used not swung at your side. Especially with 3 Great Danes! Two scared kids and one little Pei( who is always on a lead), happy to be out of there.

Jumped the fence and had a good look beneath and around many logs, any hills and possible spots but couldn't find it. Putting it down to a bad gps
Not too hard, not too easy...I like the container. I have not seen one this size before.
Nice easy find except I walked in the wrong way and through a bunch of prickles. Signed cache and then spent the next 5 minutes removing them all.
I was here a few days ago looking around what I thought was ground zero with no success. After reading through the description some more and thinking about it I returned thinking it might be near a large ants nest. After searching for a while I was wrong and discovered that I originally hadn't ventured far enough into the reserve. Great spot for a catch. Log is a little damp, but still ok condition. Tftc.
Out for an early walk with the dogs and this guy was located in a park that I have walked through hundreds of times. Didn't need the shovel but you have to be careful.
Thanks Iker1995 for placing this cache.

Had to get out and enjoy the sunshine, what a gorgeous day!
One more cache close to home ticked off. The clue is very apt.

Nice walk had been put off by the hint but decided to have a look. A butterfly decided it liked my shirt.
nice little walk with the geokids today to find this one, have been putting it off but was easy to locate. tftc
Find Number 2349
The Booo's found this cache, Left the GPSr at home and with only a pair of iPhones this took a little longer than expected. Luckily the rain held at bay until we had the cache re-hidden and ourselves heading back to the wagon.
Thanks Iker1995 for placing this cache

I was down in the Penrith area from the Blue Mountains because I had to schedule a service for the GeoBuru2. There were some 25 'unfounds' within easy driving distance of Penrith Subaru and I was amazed that I actually visited -- and logged -- 18 of them in a fairly short time. Temperatures were around 30 degrees but I welcomed the sun after days of rain.
Notwithstanding the hint, this cache doesn't violate the 'no burying' rule!
I really love the cache container. If I where to start all over again, placing caches, this is what I'd buy. Too bad I have a whole box full of all kinds of other containers, that I feel I have to 'use up.'
Anyhow, all was in good order with the cache. TNLNSL.
Many thanks to Iker1995.
(Glad I persevered and found a nice gate. I had thought I might have to climb over the fence that seemed to encircle the entire reserve.)

We were on our way through Glenmore Park, but decided to do a few caches on the way, since so many have recently sprung up here. This cache was worth doing to see Toriaz, once again, struggling over a fence. I expressed a regret at not having my movie camera after we had completed the cache. Toriaz pointed out that I had my phone. Unfortunately she refused to perform the same stunt again. Thanks for the cache.

I was actually driving towards the roundabout to turn around to get to parking for another cache when bikerbuddy spotted this one at the top of the street. So it seemed logical to have a look for it as well.
I thought it might be sensible to go further up the road to the gate, but bikerbuddy was impatient & suggested we should just hop over the fence. Easy enough for him, but I'm not at my most elegant when I'm scrambling over a fence . The best that can be said about my efforts is that eventually I make it the other side, most of the time .
The cache was an easy find, then it was back for a second go at that fence.
Thanks

A nice stroll through the bushland for an easy find.
Of course I had to park at the gate furtyeet from gz to make it a little bit more difficult.

#2352- I contemplated jumping the fence, but once I found the entrance, it was an easy stroll for a quick find. Thanks

I parked in MacKenzie Ave, and when I came across to the reserve I was met with a fence that appeared to have no entry points nearby, so I had to climb the fence on the way in and out.
A nice spot, lets hope it stays that way.

I know you changed the container but I would think you should not be influenced by others at all. The new container contained a fair amount of water. They do not necessarily know the complete story themselves. Zip lock bags stop working after a very short amount of time. You may need to dry it out every time it rains or use a seek container if you really want to use a small container in that particular spot. I placed the container back flat as this is the best position not to fill up too quickly. On a tilt as I found it will allow water in more easily. The log was starting to get damp but I managed to save it this time by tipping all the water out. Thanks Iker1995 for another fill on my calendar.
Looks like the rain has passed, so it's time I had a morning out caching. There have been so many caches pop up around the Glenmore Park area of late, a morning of walking will do me good.
The local inhabitants kept a close eye on my comings and goings as I parked the car. It was a short walk to GZ were the cache was located. Log signed.

Parked at Sir John Jamison Cct and walked in to GZ. It took all a matter of moments before finding the cache quickly. This was a good opportunity to hide at least a small sized cache, opportunity gone. TFTC.

1st quick find for today. TFTC. First I thought that it was too easy (I got fooled lol).
Was looking forward to finding this cache, however someone had not hidden well once found before me, and I had it in seconds. Iker is not impressed.
TFTC nonetheless!

The planners have aligned today as I was on the right place at the right time twice.
FTF but took a while as micros in the bush aren't my favourite. Tftc

I quickly found this a few metres from my GZ. I don't think the container will last too long. But, it is a nice reserve.
