Spent time on the way in and on the way out but found nothing under any skirt or round any ankles.
Third time at Rotokauri lake this time with M14. Only 4 caches left on the West side. This was the last one to search for.
I gave it a good search on both sides of the track but couldn't find it! Perhaps the CO can have a look here?
Thanks for hiding kiwiteachernz!

Again the last found entry for this cache was August 2019. Not holding out much hope for this one either. Had a good search and nothing found.
Glad I was with 2 super cachers today!
The hint item had dropped her skirt but merlot found it near her ankles..
Needs attention!

In the Tron with Supernanny and Merlot58, we needed a walk before returning home. We spent far too long looking at all the many skirts at GZ, and were about to give up when the cache was located where the coordinates originally took us.
On an adventure in Hamilton with Supernanny and Jag50. The hint item has dropped its skirt and the cache is down round its ankles. We spent way too long looking under the wrong skirts before returning to where our gps pointed and found the cache just as we were about to give up
Like a previous logger, I was on to it once I switched to the other side of the track! TFTC
Out for the day geocaching with friends. Found this one once looking on the right side of the track.
#358. Bloused? this GC thanks to 4Dawn4. Was skirting around the area when the fashion afficianado liked the cut of a certain leaf. (Co-ords helped too). Tftc.
Before get this one I had big pleasure to meet CO in person! Thanks for nice conversation and hides here at Lake Rotokauri. So peaceful here. Took a little time to find this one as it was well camouflaged at GZ. TFTC!
Not so swampy today...and a quick find after some muggles left. Poured water out of the container and signed the log. Tftc
My GPS said close to the path, nothing obvious and didn't want to bush bash any more, so skipped it.
Team BOP team up once again for an impromptu pre-Xmas caching mission in the Waikato.
Squirrel nutcase had his list of recent caches to clear the area again, Flossy had a few targeted, while Myself, Jandals and DC were going with the flow.

On A road trip with Part of Team BoP. Have been having a poke around here and there and been taken to some great places, many thanks to all you COs for your placements. Was up early to make the most of the day. Cheers
Enjoying picking up some caches and walking around this area. This lady didn’t have very big skirts but coords are good and not too far from the track TFTC
Taking a walk along Lake Rotokauri, on a sunny afternoon's caching. We had not been able to spot this one on our way past earlier, but now we were armed with sticks, and the gps was actually pointing in a slightly different location. This time we found the right skirt immediately. Whew. TFTC
I looked in the right place, but didn't spot the cache. After making a circuit, I felt around and finally found the cache. TFTC.
Decided to go for a caching mission this afternoon after not finding any for about a month. Lots of wasps hanging around the skirts so carefully checked - was of course under the last skirt I checked. Log book was very wet couldn't really write name properly. Thanks so much for this series of caches
We lifted a lot of skirts before we got it, but perseverance paid off info tbe end. TFTC.
Found this easily with hint. All the coords seem fairly spot on for this lake walk. Tftc
The hint suggested I do what I've always dreamt of doing when I was a teenager so it was nice to be able to delve under as per hint! TFTC
Another quick find along this walkway. Cache is a little damp, but log sheet still able to be signed.
So In October I went to replace the log .... but I couldn't find it to replace the log book. The area had changed a bit, and I thought that the cache may be been removed when some of the cabbage trees had been removed. I replaced with a new cache near to where I thought the cache should have been.
Then I started to get 'wet log' logs. Hmmm... was replaced with water-proof paper. When to check again yesterday, and found the new cache AND the old cache - they were in neighbouring cabbage trees.
Have keep the orginial cache and added the waterproof paper to it.

The Freezer Mice strike again!!!
Out on a kids caching expedition so were wrapt with an easy find by master 3.
Log book is completely saturated so could not be signed.

Log book totally saturated and cover disintegrated as we tried to open it. Too wet to sign so photo attached instead. CO might want to visit again. Tftc
After the nearby event today I decided to have a walkabout around Rotokauri Lake. It was a pleasant day for a pleasant walk. The cache was 1/4 full of water and the logbook bag was open so the logbook was completely saturated.
Cheers for the cache.

This was a sad day at all! After nearly four weeks at amazing North Island I had to leave this beautyfull country at the evening. But still I had this day and after spending the night in Hamilton I started with a nice stroll along this lovely lake. The sun was shining (as usual), I met friendly people (as usual), saw a beautyfull landscape (as usual) and picked up some nice caches (as usual).
Thank you for a nice start of the day and for the caches.

On my last visit, this eluded me, I'd opted not to get it, given there were in the nearby House overlooking me.
Today, given I finished work nice and early, I decided to have a crack at it, hoping everyone would be collecting kids/inside the house out of the drizzle. I wasn't wrong and quickly had a cache in my hot little hands. TFTC!

No one else here on a nice Sunday afternoon, pity the walk still doesn't go all the way around.

Lifted up all the skirts and peeked in ... NUH !!! I have had 5 previous DNF's this morn, so it is not my best caching day at all. Disheartened to say the least. Gotta take the good with the bad tho'. On to the last 2 caches around the lake and will plan another trip back here.
12.50pm - Got to GZ, but which one. Soon spotted container, placed back under cover. Sltftc
Hardly any swamp bashing required for this one, didn't even get wet above the trusty Geocaching Jandals.
Cheers

Dot Day, Easter Friday, and the first day of school holidays... Gap (of Fap and Gap) and I scoured the geocaching map to see if there was anything interesting within an easy drive from home (We have to be home by 3PM)... There was. We spied two events in what seems like our second home... Hamilton.
We returned to the Rotokauri area after the events in Taitua Arboretum. The goal was to tidy up all of the newer traditional caches. I met P38s while walking (nice to meet you and hope you enjoy your holiday) and knew immediately that they were caching. This one was a quick find. We spied the container in its hide on approach. TFTC.

Searching around and saw some eyes peering at us! Swapped a little mouse for a fighter jet. TFTC
No one around & such a nice day for a walk & swim for geopup TFTC

I felt a tad overlooked while doing this one, bad happily my feet stayed nice and dry - the cache title had me worried for a moment lol. TFTC!
This was the limit of yesterday's journey, and I did not find it. Today I only had a brief look and continued on around the lake but decided to have another decent look on the way back. As is often the case, comparing the location on the map was more useful than the phone GPS in narrowing down the location. Thanks for the cache.
Found some cool stumps before the GPS took us to the right one. Grabbed TB.
Title was a little un-nerving, but turned out to be a perfectly dry find.
Left a pet rock - a mouse. TFTC

We had a day off from our Bridge Congress so we thought a walk around the lake would be pleasant before the forecast rain.
We wondered where to begin searching and then the GPS settled down and there it was.

Had to plan a find today, as we keep trying to knock off dot days. This is about as close to home as we can get without solving more puzzles.
A great destination for an after work walk, but it started raining after 4pm. Luckily it has settled down to a drizzle, so, suitably garbed, my patient muggle friend and I walked most of the available paths.
Luckily the find was straightforward and the hint really helped. Thanks for giving us another reason to walk here. We will be back for the other new ones on future dot days.

After my work commitments were done for the day I decided to go find a few caches before heading to the airport and home. Decided to try and find a few of these caches around the lake. Strangely enough for a cache in a 'swamp' this was one of the drier ones in the series. Had to check a few of the hint objects before I found the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
A stunning late afternoon walk here with Mr 5 who found a tree he likes because the branches were like ribs. Cache all good
A nice easy find on my run around the lake this morning, took the magnet for the boys and left a frog.
Not the type of hide I would even attempt in Australia! But this one was nicely hidden and not too difficult to find. Thanks very much kiwiteachernz
It was a pleasent day so headed out for a short walk with the Dragon in the early Autumn sunshine. Managed to get talking to one of the locals who had been instrumental in the setting up of this area so that was very informative. Eventually made our escape and soon had the cache in hand
TFTC and a very nice walk

Attempted the new nearby cache, but with darkness set upon me and my torch being pretty useless, thought I'd come back while it was light and instead attempt this cache. Stumbled upon the cache, which I'm grateful for as wasn't in the mood for a long search. Thanks for the placement.
After trying the cache nearby and failing so epically I was beginning to doubt whether I still had the nack.
This one was a very quick find and my confidence was restored.

I could see where others had looked in the past and it didn't take long to realise that the cache was hidden in the only spot that didn't look rummaged. After signing the log I attempted to un-rummage the area before I left. Thanks
a nice early afternoon walk, arrived at GZ and started the search, with 3 of us we all choose a likely spot and had a seach, we looked again and again, 2 of us got attacked by prickles. 2 of the 3 of us had given up, but after having a good day of cache finding I wasn't going to give up easily, very soon after a cache was found
