Had a hunt, had a read of previous logs, had another hunt and then spied muggles from the house opposite the drive and decided to call it quits. Bugger!!
Coming back from Timaru, I noticed a small but rich vein of caches in this town and so took a smiley detour
Find #10 of 12 today (a most emphatic way to fill in a dot day)! On the way home, but I had no intention of leaving any caches unfound. This one actually took a little while, I even looked at the correct spot twice. Ah well, they can't all be instant finds.

No-one around here today, which was pleasing. I would think it could be a high-muggle area at times. tftc
Barb used to spend her Childhood School Hoildays in Leeston..In fact 2 Doors away.Ah the memories of playing in here..
Quickly found signed and she said Goodby to Leeston..Thanks for bringing us back

Had a quick look on they way into Leeston but felt to exposed and the dogs started barking in the car they were drawing to much attention abandon search, before I get sprung from the house muggles opposite. A quick walk back after finding the others in the area and this time with dogs helping was a quick find. Cheers buddy cacher.
Glad there weren't many people around today as I felt very exposed hunting for it.
Two very nice convertible MGs went past with matching wicker baskets on the back. I wonder where they were going to have their picnic.
Fourth find for the day (and year).
Thanks for the cache.

On my home from the South Island Orienteering champs in Geraldine/Timaru over the weekend. I detoured via Leeston to clean up the few caches out this way. A quick find here. TFTC.

Both of our boys were keen scouts and they had an excellent leader who took them possum shooting, caving, abseiling and on wonderful camps (which we liked going on too ). They're a bit bigger now but have fond memories. TFTC Nosynel
Searched and searched but no luck, then about to give up due to it getting quite wet when Mr Sharpe joined us and found it. Phew!!
Another rather open area where we tried looking inconspicuous till the cache was spotted by Chelzea then quickly signed and replaced. TFTC
Great day caching in Canterbury, this was one of 70 or more caches found, Cool start to the day, with the odd shower but fine for most of the day my first big caching road trip in a long time. - Many thanks to all the cache placers
Thanks Bitsprayer.
Thanks Bitsprayer.
I'm a muppet, not sure how I missed this the first time! A very quick stop this time in the drizzle, no muggles to interrupt me now at least. A few seconds and another dot day gone, cheers
TFTC. Off on a road trip to Leeston, with YorkshireP, to purchase special sausages from the butcher out there. It would have been poor form not to pick up a cache or two if we drove past them....
This was the second drive by.
YorkshireP was the one with the eagle eyes who spotted this cache. I'm pleased the Ellesmere Scouts needed the cache.
Thanks Nosynel for the cache.

A caching Sunday after farewelling my cousin and navigating for them to pick up a new puppy. Drove past this one twice and had to drive on as there was a front end loader working in the driveway fixing up the road. The coast was clear on our third visit and we swooped in to grab it. TFTC!
Popped down to Leeston for a spot of caching. A quick find. Thanks for the hide.
Took longer than it should have but found the little blighter in the end. TFTC
Out and about at night, headed this way to grab the few new ones. A bit of a search soon netted the prize. Cheers.
No luck here, fair number of muggles going into play tennis to try where I think it might be. Cheers
FTF, coords a wee bit off but with the help of the hint found easily enough. TFTC.
