Quick easy find on way to Werribee to visit a friend. Lunch and off to a event iThe Great Victorian Cache crawl see how many we do coming from SA TFTC
We were definitely travelling east not west today so stopped here to stretch the legs and find a cache. It is a nice quiet rest area so the cache was found quickly without any prying eyes. Thanks for a reason to stretch the legs.
Out and about today with the aim of completing LGA's in this area, but couldn't resist grabbing this on the way past.Took a bit of a search and I was appalled to see that a wedge has been chainsawed out of the tree.TFTC SL TB's visited
Found It.........While up in the area working we decided to take the scenic way home. Once at GZ a quick search soon had the cache in hand. So with the log signed we continued our journey. Thanks Fergzter for the cache
Found on the way back to Beaufort from Ararat - back to grab some dinner at the caravan.TFTC
Wow that was a sneaky hide!! Im having troubles with my phone today but I could still kind of work out where GZ is. I walked and walked and walked around expanding my search area. Time for Mr. Lazy aka JTreeTrack2 to catch up on some logs. Sorry to the cache owners for the lag. I have enjoyed finding every cache I have found and appreciate all the effort that has gone in to placing and maintaining the caches. Hopefully I will find more caches and give a more timely and personalized logThanks again for placing the cache.
On the way home from a drive around the bushland near Ararat and this was my last stop for the day. Took a minute or two to make the find, however all was good and the log was soon being signed. Then it was back on the highway and off towards home.
Thanks for this one Fergzter...cache all good.

On my way back to Geelong and it just makes sense to collect a few happy faces on the way
Unfortunately it looks like this plant is turning into a dumping ground. If you're after a sister mattress, there are a few here for you .
Nice little hide here, thank you for placing for all of us to enjoy.

On way home from Halls Gap with Alansee. Enjoying the lovely places these caches have been put. Some interesting places we would never have stopped so thank you.
Thanks for the cache Fergzter

We drove through this Power Nap area earlier in the day during a search for a toilet. Now we can revisit with different priorities. By now it was pretty warm and the cache coordinates lead us over the creek to the other side. The cache container is in good condition
Luckily the creek was dry, but it took a while for us to find an easy and safe way across the creek. A fun find near a busy truck stop provided a good excuse to stretch your legs. A great little adventure in the bush.

After staying in Ararat overnight, this was our 1st cache in this LAG, check around, soneobe had been to tge toiket nearby. Looking for a rock noticed something else, retrieved stamped log and replaced. Thanks to CO.
Geo kid was able to find this before me. He is beginning to get better at this than I am. Tftc
Found this cache last Sunday with Wespro. Shame about the rubbish that gets dumped at these rest areas. So glad Wes picked up the cache as there was a bloody big cache guardian on it!!! Thanks
*The SueHut Birthday Long Weekend Adventure #40*
It's day 4 of our long weekend, and we're meandering our way back home.
After the last cache we visited, I was persuaded to put some sandals on at the very least. However, ants weren't the problem at this location. There was so much rubbish! I can't believe people are so selfish. I got a double-handful of CITO, although my fingers were itching to do more.
Also, the cache had quite a large eight-legged guardian protecting it. Good thing it was me, not SueHut, that uncovered it first.
Thanks heaps, Fergzter!

I was spending the long long weekend camping out in Ararat at Green Hill Lake and so we managed to venture out from time to time to do a spot of caching.
As we travelled around this area we stopped by to make this find.
Thanks Fergzter for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Sneaky; you almost had me there with the decoy. Cache and log are good. TFTC Fergzter.
They say third time lucky. It was our third attempt to find this little devil.
Helps when the phone is receiving reception too, unlike other occasions.
Clever little hiding spot, having to remove and then spot.
Deceptive to find such a sizeable tube in such a little hole.
All in good condition and co-ords spot on.
Thx Fergzter. From JJHHXX. Find 97

On our way back from a father-son weekend we stopped by this one. Plenty of room to park and a speedy find. TFTC
A quick find while driving to Raglan from Ararat. Nice easy parking for a motoer home. TFTC.
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. I’ll leave the more interesting detailed log to Mrs Geo (aka: SeasonedBird, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird or Angry Bird) because she writes so much more eloquently than I and usually has much more time to do so while I’m driving. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Fergzter

Nice little find while returning home. The rubbish in the area was disappointing.

On short notice, I had the pleasure of travelling with n0w0rries to the event in Ballarat and the CITO at Smythesdale Cemetery.
It was fantastic to be able to attend an event, not to mention just walk into a pub, up to the bar and order a drink. Even if it was a coffee.
And given how much time we've spent exploring cemeteries, it was great to be able to contribute to the upkeep of one.
This was... not where I expected to find myself today, but n0w0rries and SteMicMitSar compared notes at the CITO and decided the adventure of the day would be an assault on the nearby peak.
SteMicMitSar had to dash home after we'd gone and given Sleeping Beauty a kiss. But n0w0rries and I decided that as we were so close, we would go for one last find.
Our approach was... unconventional, but after the monster we'd just tackled, no man-made obstacle could compare, and the short scramble beat the hassle of the drive we'd have needed otherwise.
The well camouflaged hiding spot was quickly noted and, log signed, it was back across the obstacle to the car and a long drive home for us.
Thanks, Fergzter

Heading back home today (East Gippsland) and we stopped here for a quick stretch of the legs. Cache was quickly found and dry enough despite recent rains.

Travelling East today, we stopped and searched and found. T-rating is currently rising as in this wet weather we had to find a narrow ford in the raging current. Well, we spotted one, and both of us made it there and back (feet had already been wet for hours, that elevates the preparedness to take a risk).
Thanks for the cache, we hope all the Fergzters are well!

First find, boys were looking over the other side of the train track which was too far not as easy as it sounds
A stop off on the way home (Kinglake West) from Adelaide. Good hiding spot and didn't take too long to locate.
Walked to this location from across the way where we were doing another cache. TFTC!!!

Found while passing through the area today. Won't say it was quick as i did need to use the previous logs for a guide. Great camo helped it blend in but cache is still in great condition.
Nice hiding Fergzter!

Headed to Ballarat today with Mrs. iowaPete as our Australian Adventure winds down. I had a list of caches set up for us to chase along the way. This one made the cut! heehee…
Wow. I don't know how I saw this one, but something told me that the cache was there. So very well camo'd. The container is in great condition, too. Clean and dry interior. Log sheet still has room for signatures, even after I added ours. Replaced EXACTLY as found. I want the next finder to enjoy the craftiness of this hide as much as we did...

This morning I made my way from Ararat to Beaufort collecting the odd cache here and there.
Pulled in here and nobody was around, made the short walk over to GZ to find a well hidden cache.

I was heading home after my awesome trip up through the Kimberly’s and decided to find just a few more on the way home.
Called in here to stretch the legs and after finding my way across the creek I soon spotted the cache tucked away in its hidy hole.
Thanks Fergzter TFTC

Good directional hints, thanks. It’s a lovely habitat tree in an area spoiled for trees. Neat bit of camouflage! TFTC
