In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - The Hunting Rabbit [^]
With the GCLOGAN Decennial event on today, I headed down early to grab a few smileys before it started. After the event I headed out for the afternoon with Grumpy Bump for a few more. Since we had caught up with Alisnan, we grouped up and tackled a few together.I found your cache, Baby Hunting Rabbit - The Big Announcement today. This is my 3334 find.Quick find once at the correct elevation. The Hunting Rabbit, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
After the Decennial event at the Kingston Butter Factory precinct I continued on and completed a nearby multi. It was here that I met up with some other cachers and we all proceeded along the path to gather up this series. The cache was located and the log signed before returning everything as found. It was then onwards to the next one. TFTC
Was out with the maintenance crew this afternoon so found this one. Log signed. All in order here. Thanks The Hunting Rabbit for the cache and Hatzoff for maintaining it.
A bit of spare time today allowed me to find only one cache - and this was it! Maybe I can come back someday and get some more.
Today I had a little time to find just a few caches well that never works out but I tried. I needed to go for a nice walk to clear my head and take in some quiet time. Caching was the answer so I went off Hunting Wrabbit. Its Wrabbit season and I’m hunting Wrabbit hehehehe (in my best elmer fudd voice). So I scored 4 and did a lot of looking on a few others. But I will be back again to finish them off.
This was an easy find compared to a couple of the other caches I had DNF's on. I signed the log and returned the cache as found. Thank you for the placement and the hide.

Have looked for this one before, came up with a nothing more than a sad face that time.
Today I came from the right angle and spotted the cache straight away.
Good to be adding my name to this log and have it gone from my map
Thanks for the hide

There was a lot of water laying around… but it was just me and the frogs down here today… initially making this much harder than it needed to be, and then after investigating the suspicious looking regular hiding spot of a cache, I turned around and spied the wee beastie… tftc…
Today I had been staring at computer screen for way too long, so although rain was pending, I knew a walk would do me good. A productive walk is one with caches as well. Had a feeling I knew what I was looking for and where, but again, didn't stick with my first though. Just needed right angle and it was in my hands.
Out with IolantheK today caching. This one took some time finding. Where will it be? Eventually found, you just need to really look and don’t over think it. TFTC
Unfortunately it's a DNF for us today
Good reason to come back for another look on another day

This isn’t a DNF because the cache isn’t there. It most certainly probably is but we were beaten down with a couple of rabbit DNFs already and after 15 minutes of trudging through the slop looking it was time to move on. We had also run out of water and the sun shining down on a wet path was making everything humid. I hope I packed my nappies in the car. Thanks anyway
I had planned on taking my geograndson on a caching expedition when I received a call from hatzofff asking if I would like to accompany her on a stroll. I looked at where she planned to go and decided that it would be a good place for a caching expedition. Next, we came to this one. A bit of searching and we were adding our name to the log. TFTC
Caching with Selva Girls and geograndson to do a maintenance run and tidy up of caches.
Setup a new log sheet and did a cleanup here.

This was the first in the trio of baby hunting rabbit but the last of the trio that we attempted, and this was by far the longest attempt. Clever hiding spot for 5 week old embryo cache Cheers! Spellzen and Teazr
Still working on the series in the area. We found this one too.. but it took some time... longer than we thought!
Thanks for the cache!!

Took us a while to work out where this little one was hiding and of course it was one of those cases of walking past the spot a few times before ODST 501 came up with the find, TFTC
Well our mob headed down the pathway to here and we thought it wise to read up a little to work out what it was we could be looking for. It did take us a while, all of us searching and wandering around aimlessly until I heard ODST 501 give a sigh of relief and pointed out the cache, lol. Great hide, signed and returned, TFTC.
Very happy to have been in company with Snickersallen, JooJoo57 and ourselves today to claim an unloved find on this cache. We checked a number of locations and felt sure it was missing, but then wonderwoman came up with the cache in a place where we'd already looked. It was well hidden and we were so glad to find it. Thanks The Hunting Rabbit for placing this series that we are really enjoying today. Cheers!
Found with Aussie Liahona and joojoo57 whilst enjoying this lovely series. This took a little while to find but was eventually found under some weathered camo. Thanks The Hunting Rabbit and TFTC
Out caching today with Snickersallan and Aussie Liahona to do most of the Baby Hunting Rabbit series. Was a wonderful winters day to do these caches as well as enjoying the variety of cache sizes and hides. This one had us searching for a little while. Thanks Hunting Rabbit.
Sadly, though I felt I understood the hints pretty well, I couldn't locate the cache. Another time, I hope, and trust all is well with your little guy!
After a good search and understanding the previous log clues somehow we both missed it . A quick PAF helped sure up our approach! Tftc
Found with the Chasing Adventures thanks to a PAF. Signed as THXO and CA - last spot in log. TFTC
I thought it was amazing how much this area has regrow in such a short amount of time! The attached pic is a comparison to finders photos from 3 months ago of the area right after a burn

I felt like getting out of the office at lunch time today so I decided to come and find a few caches. Because I had anticipated not having much time to search for the caches in this series, I had picked the brain of a previous finder and gained a couple of clues to help me.
I pretty much knew where this one was anyway and walked straight up to it. It wasn't until I was unrolling the log that I looked around and noticed that there'd been a fire through here.
I unrolled the log the whole way only to find that the first side was full and had to roll it back up again before adding my name. Tedious much?

Last time I ignored this cache but this time I searched for it and the cache was very quick located.
We thought the "Fifth Column" were conspiring against us in the rabbit hunt today - until we re-read and re-read the CO's cryptic hints in the description, and put two and three together, so to speak!
Found eventually at 10.25am on 4th March 2016. TFTC.

Another nice find on this little bugger. Another unloved cache. Thank you for placing the series. Tftc
After scouring every nook in the wall and giving up, went home to where Mrs Bunyip had a thought!
Second attempt and east find. TFTC.

Checked on this one today. Cache is safely in it's hiding spot as it should be and waiting for the next finder. Happy hunting.
A short walk along the path and this was the next stop for the morning. I could not believe what I arrived to... So many options on where this could be.
So I got a start on looking at a couple of different spots and seeing what I could find, all to no avail. I considered a few different potential options that may turn up the cache but all could have potentially hidden it better then ever.
I eventually figured that I had to change my approach somewhat and I may have a chance of making the find. Ahhh and yes soon enough I spotted just what it was that I wanted. With a sigh I soon had my name in the log and was heading back towards the first cache near where I parked.

A little bit of scrambling about to find this one today... I pointed something out and said 'what about there' and yep... there it was thankful to find quickly as this could have taken a lot longer than it did

Not where we were first expecting it to be! But it was spotted and we were happy
Sitting at home on a gorgeous Brisbane Winter's day when the friends that were due for lunch, rang to cancel. Righto Geokids, saddle up, we are biking and geocaching! The Hunting Rabbit series beckons! 2 big Goekids were keen to explore the block wall but with my little Geokid (3) in tow, I was sure it had to be somewhere else. Despite searching what I thought was thoroughly, the GPS kept bringing me back to the same location. Finally the cache was in hand!
The Hunting Rabbits took a few of my Cubs TB's for some travels, so it was nice to log one of their caches and I hope there journey into Parenthood is going well!

DiamondJS and I had a 5 min look for this one in the dark. Poked a few fingers in a few holes and had a quick squiz but we had run out of daylight looking for so long for the Darkest of Times one which had been moved and not recorded. Anyway, looks like there are plenty of others here to come back to. Thanks for the hunt.
Out with the CO's before their going away Event tonight enjoying this little piece of bushland in suburbia.
Took me a while to spot this cache.
We had lots of laughs about experiences with caching.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks The Hunting Rabbit All good with this cache

The big announcement was definitely not big! Took us a while but I spotted it!
Out caching with Remsjw, Misssusan, Bennyboppers and Lisylou. We searched for a while and then Misssusan found the little fella! TFTC!
I went straight to gz looked and looked then misssusan79 came up and had it in hand i couldn't believe it definitely had cache blindness
Out with bennyboppers, mnance, misssusan and remsjw, the baby rabbits were on our hitlist today. We'd previously DNF'd at 8 weeks and counting so came along here, we took a little while here because bennyboppers had searched the spot and couldn't spot it, we were counting wrong, then misssusan rechecked an area an got it. Onto the next. Tftc
Congrats on the news David & Rebecca.
After missing the FTF a while back, I finally got back around to visiting the area in the daylight. Had discussed this series with THR at work previously so it was a very quick find

After finding two others quickly, I felt confidant that I find this one quickly. I was wrong! This one took waaaaay longer than it should have. TFTC
We were up north here helping some friends pack up to move and these were just walking distance from their house.
We had worked well packing the truck and cars and had some time before they needed to head off so we headed down the road to here.
Geo Wife loves babies so she went into this with gusto.
5 WEEK old WOW rabbits are small!!
We searched a little and then Geo Wife had a bright idea and went straight to GZ.
Thanks H R TFTC SL

Out and about looking for a few caches before an upcoming event tonight.
This was the second one I found on my walk around the four new caches here.
I had actually looked without finding then went onto another and have now come back.
I was convinced I was in the right spot but NO cache so I phoned a friend and confirmed I was looking in the right place. After another very careful look I actually spotted it out of the corner of my eye on the ground. It is back in place now.
(well, where I think it should be The CO might want to check it. )
Thanks for the cache.

Had to walk past this one muttering,"bugger, bugger, bugger" under my breath. A school cross country run was in full swing and an adult was stationed under cover of the bridge, so had to give it a miss. I'll be back. TFTH The Hunting Rabbit.
still can't find while with my daughter so next time I will do it myself there again cheers
Must have missed the posting and the FTF --congrats David and Rebeca--Muskoka will be cheering for you Ken
After helping the CO's celebrate their 1000 find, we decided to make a group assault on all the Baby Hunting Rabbit caches.
Number 2 on the list, and I had an idea from the hint, only problem was I was counting from the wrong way
With that fixed, quickly located cache. Log signed, cache replaced.

I decided to take a walk in the rain this morning to find a good launching spot for the nearby multi and challenge caches on Scrubby Creek.
I was prepared to get wet, but the rain was not too bad whilst I was walking. Armed with my trusty umberella I managed to stay nice and dry whilst I was on land.
The land based caches did not go well for me today. I had already failed to find one, and was struggling with this one.
Tiny things can hide very well, especially when the cloud cover may be affecting the GPS accuracy. Afet a bit of a hunt around many places the cache was not I resorted to some help.
Nice easy find then ;-P

WOW...CONGRATULATIONS Mr & Mrs. Hunting Rabbit! I so wish we were able to check out this series of caches as they are posted.....
Congratulations The Hunting Rabbit. Was so lovely to meet you both today with GulliversTravels54. TFTC
I'm not often down this way, so today after a couple of FTFs nearby I figured I'd grab this one as well. I had quite a pleasant walk along the bike path to GZ, then spent ages examining all the wrong spots Fortunately no-one came past to wonder what I was up to After probably 30 minutes I gave up and put in a PAF, and soon made the find.
Congratulations to all The Hunting Rabbits TFTC, and I hope all goes well for you.

Well that is a different way of spreading the news. Congratulations guys.
I thought I should find the cache so I headed there on the way to work.
I had checked the maps and found the quick access. It was raining lightly so it was good to find that I had some cover handy in case it started to pour but I didn't need it.
I did spend a while looking for the cache but couldn't find it so I rang GT54 for some clues and I was directed back to the spot where the GPS was giving me as GZ and had another look and another look and it wasn't until I had my eyes no more than 10cm from the cache that I spotted it.
It will be interesting to see the size of the cache when bub turns 21.

Just had to take a peek and see who got FTF. Most appropriately it was GT who have become caching buddies with the CO. And all this in time for Dr David's B'day today. A celebration is in order.
FTF cache find # 1238 CONGRATULATIONS. What wonderful news Mr & Mrs The Hunting Rabbit, that you are expecting a Baby Hunting Rabbit. A very unique way to announce your wonderful news.
We had just finished logging the weekends finds, and sitting watching tv in the air con, when the notifications started rolling in.
When this one came through, we just had to go for it, as it wasn't far from home.
When we arrived at what we thought was the quickest way to the cache, didn't turn out quite where we wanted to be, so we quickly got back into the geotug, and made our way to another entrance. Found GZ very quickly, but took ages for us to finally locate the cache. It was getting on dark when we found what we came for, and when we opened the cache to sign our name were even more surprised that we were FTF.
We made our way up the bikeway, when we noticed a torchlight coming from another direction, heading towards GZ. We stopped and turned back just as wtf21 approached us, and we chatted for a little while, and left him to find the cache.
To Mr & Mrs Hunting Rabbit, we wish you the very best with your little bundle of joy. We are very excited for you both.
We are looking forward to more caches in the Baby Hunting Rabbit series.
