Needed to do something between the breaks in rain on International Geocaching Day so this one still hadn't been found so we headed out. I spotted the hide first and one geodaughter wasn't far behind
Lot of water around this one and an empty egg lying nearby which was curious

Good find a few muggles around but found a cool egg. International geocaching day.
Found quickly.
Plenty of other peoples dogs at play here.
Sadly the cache is soaked. We could just write on it with a power tank pen.

Looked on the inside of the park and on the outside of the park along the fence and couldn't find it. Then I saw a piece of metal that looked like it was twisted at some stage then we spent 5 minutes trying to move it. Then we finally found it.
I have been past here so many times, and always never had the chance to look.
Killing time before an appt, decided that with done_wright, would go and get this one.
No one in the park, so was easy to locate and find without too much stealth required.
Log book full and damp will need replacing.

OCW the Bebes, Brewmaker and it’s Dossie. After a nice fish and chips dinner at the park we had a nice walk for a couple of caches.
Very cool assault course for the dogs.

Continued our walk here and I made the find just far enough away from the lovely dogs.

Playing tourist in this beautiful area before heading to the Wanga Mega.
Had a chippy dinner in the pretty park, left geodog resting her legs with Mrs.TeamCanary whilst we walked over to this one.

A quick find after having fish'n'chips for dinner by the lake. My Aussie Shepherd would love this doggy park. TFTC

A six day road trip to the mega event in Wangaratta.
Having arrived in Albury, we decided to do some touring around the beautiful Victoria area, visiting Yacadandah, Beechworth, Myrtleford and Mount Buffalo. Of course we grabbed a few caches along the way.
After gobbling excellent chippies and a beef croquette we walked off the calories around the Belvoir Lagoon, finding a few caches along the way.

Now THAT is a pretty cool dog park!! Wish there was something like that where I come from. In town for a whirlwind visit. TFTC.
A quick park and grab to make ourselves feel better on what has not been a great caching day for us. Oh well, we can always try and turn it around tomorrow! TFTC
TFTC thanks it was a pretty nifty little cache in the much higher up from the cache we saw a beehive just be aware of it

Spending some time in the area - another afternoon on the hunt. Popular place.
Thanks BeechworthSC1 for entertaining me at this location.

So annoyed that I didn’t have a pen but found this one rather quickly. Nice hiding spot
In the area for work and catching up with friends with some caches to go. What great locations and areas. TFTC
Found last week with my girls but forgot to log. Easy but stelath needed between the walkers and the council guy mowing grass. TFTC
Found while in Wodonga for the night.
A good hide here for us today.
Signed and replaced where found TFTC

A quick find with a gap in visitors (dogs and folks) to this part of the park.
Despite not having a geohound to test out the agility challenges, I enjoyed watching a basking turtle a little further down on a log in the water.
Thanks BeechworthSC1 for encouraging visitors to this great spot.

Rex and I headed out in Harry to spend a day caching around the Albury / Wodonga area although it had been a while since I'd driven this far [xx(] and I wasn't sure how I'd go[?][xx(] The knees have been playing up a bit lately [xx(]
There was the added incentive of a possible FTF on Berringama State School No. 2967 CASHES placed by SciFiRulz Sad to say though that I was less than an hour from that cache when it was logged as found by someone else, 14 days after having been published
So we ended up eating tea at Zambrero's in Wodonga[^] and then finding a few caches while letting Rex have some fun running on the green grass near the wetlands [:X] and finally finishing the day at the dog park before starting the long drive home with darned sore knees[|)][xx(][|)][xx(]
All up I had 1 DNF and 5 finds albeit 1 find was logged with permission from the CO [:X] as I found the camo
Not a big day but a day out and I did it all on my own [^] with Rex for company of course [:X]
Final cache for the day and by this time, I'm in tears of pain [|)][xx(][|)][xx(] and so stopped here to allow Rex to have a sniff and wander [^] while I gathered up my energy for the drive back to Shepparton!
Found the cache 1st though

Quick find for geo daughter and dad before school while there were no muggles, TFTC
A nice place stopped by for lunch and thought it would be nice to find a cache. It was a easy find. TFTC
Not where we thought originally! We have been here so many time pre caching and it blows our mind that we had no idea!
Find Number 1982 found at 10:20. This was the 1st find of 1 finds and 0 DNF's today
We didn't have a lot of time today between family commitments, but it was a blank calendar day and I wanted to get one to fill the spot.
This looked a likely candidate and I'm glad I came here. I never knew that this dog playground existed. I made the find much harder than it should have been. I found the nicely hidden location, but could find nothing hidden therein. After searching and peering and feeling, I dropped my pen. It landed right beside the container which I must have dislodged without noticing.
The cache was in good condition. We took nothing, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found making sure I didn't dislodge it again.
Thanks BeechworthSC1 for the cache.

I’ve been going to look for this one for ages but finding a quiet time has been tricky. Popped along tonight and with no one about it was an easy find. I’m half way through my self imposed challenge to find a cache every day this month
My second attempt at this one. First time there were too many muggles. Too hot for dogs today. Nobody in sight. TFTC.
Nice hide, out with Jonty in the 40+ degree heat grabbing a few Wodonga caches. TFTC
A lovely walk around Sumsion Gardens tonight. Only waited 10min for 2 doggies and their owners to leave to discover this quick & easy find. TFTC
Well that took a little longer to find than it should have. Must remember to remove sunglasses first before searching it would have been much quicker. Thankfully there aren’t many muggles or furry friends to worry about.

Once the finding device and our heads settled into working properly, we found the cleverly hidden cache in minutes. It took a while though for the device to settle. Maybe the trees had some shielding properties to interfere with reception. The tiny cache was in a good place, where most passing Muggles would not normally look.
On the second last day of our school holiday break from Melbourne, we decided it was time to find the kids a playground.
While we don't have a dog, I did take the boys for a walk around the lake while the girls were playing in the park.
This is the first dog park I think I have ever seen with jumps and activities for the dogs!
Thanks for the cache BeechworthSC1 - it certainly is a beautiful area for a dog and children's park.

Hard to find a time when there is no one around this area, always seems to be someone in the dog park no matter what time of day or night in all sorts of weather.
Is bit dark and colder now, and no one around which made for an easier find.
TFTC, Cheers.

Second find on this lovely day. Plenty of stealth required as there were a lot of muggles around with their pooches.
