TFTC! Spent the day out caching with Barnzy12 and krabiBoy. We went to the suburbs of Lesmurdie, Kalamunda and Carmel chasing a number of quick and easy park and grabs, a few
Archived caches, and a few caches that helped fill some DT Grid.
We changed the dynamic up today, Barnzy Drove and i instantly regretted the decision not to take my car however it was due for a service and i was now the navigator. So we picked KrabiBoy up from Bayswater area where he was getting some extra bits added to his car.
We chased a heap of nanos and micro caches in Kalamunda, a few of which seemed to be missing, which was quite frustrating, and we had some DNFs through there. We then avoided other micros in the area and concentrated on some simple park and grabs to get the numbers up for the day.
We then moved our attention to the lesmurdie falls national park and grabbed a few odd caches in there including a nice and simple Earth Cache.
We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs. The outback jack series was next which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.
Thanks to the COs for a Great day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

I've recently decided to start hunting down some Archived Caches that are still in situ.
I was in the area today, so I loaded up the Archived Cache filter and spotted this one.
I was in the area with Barnzy12 and cravo10 so stopped to add our names to the book here. Found without too many dramas.
TFTC mrhugopro.
mrhugopro, I found your cache Spiky Bush on 7/07/2016 at 9:48 PM.

We changed the dynamic up today, with Cravos car in for a service we had to take my car and have me drive and him on the Nav, which is an interesting role reversal from the norm. So we picked KrabiBoy up from Bayswater area where he was getting some extra bits added to his car.

We then moved our attention to the lesmurdie falls national park and grabbed a few odd caches in there including a nice and simple Earth Cache. We encountered some decent terrain through the area, which really got the heart racing and even had me forgetting to navigate us to the last cache in a small loop we grabbed!!
We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs before turning our attention to the last loop I had left of the outback jack series, which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.
All in all it was a great day, with many tall tales told and war stories shared. A fair bit of piss take on my driving skills and Cravos navigation skills until we decided to restore order by having Cravo drive my new car! Which thankfully came
Back in one piece.
Thanks to the COs for a lovely day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

I have been quite actively seeking out archived caches lately as it is quite a thrill to find caches that are off the radar! This was one that was handy to the area I was in and I thought I would have a wee look to see if I could find it. Yep, still there and able to be signed. WOOHOO! .

One or more of the following has occurred:
No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Decided to do a few caches in the Whistlepipe Gully area today. This one wasn't on the to do list, but I decided to detour to it when I noticed it on my GPSr. Found out later that it is actually disabled, but still found it and signed the log. There was a bit of activity at the ear-by residence, but no-one seemed to notice me.
SL. TNLN. Thanks for the hide mrhugopro.
Might catch up with you at the 'WA Goes BIG in 2015' event in Busselton later this year (GC5GR5X)

Up in the hills today tracking down some of the local caches.
Parked quite close to GZ here and after a short stroll I had the cache in hand. As mentioned in previous logs the log book is quite wet.

Log book soaked through needs replacing and I his it a bit better as was obvious from the trail, TFTC
Tftc. Logbook all wet and cache starting to rust. I would think about re designing the cache container.
Phew! I found it. After not finding Snake Shrub, I was very keen to find this one. I wandered around in circles among the many many spiky bushes for a long time, and was getting close to giving up when I spotted the cache!
Unfortunately the log book here was quite wet. I tried to scratch my name into it, but only half of it is readable, so I've attached a photo. It may be better to put the log book into a little plastic zip lock bag here.
Thanks for the cache mrhugopro!

Thanks for the cache mrhugopro!
TFTC. Most of the convoy got a few prickles here. Third cache on the expedition.
Up in the hills again today with Chwiliwr and his Better Half. Another quick find here. Thanks mrhugopro
Out for a day of caching around the hills.
Coordinates seemed a bit out but it was still a very quick find here.
Thanks mrhugopro for the cache.

It's well after dark and we're wondering what to expect after having read the previous logs. The co-ords are pretty much spot-on for us and we have a find as soon as we leave the beaten track.

No time to find it!!! Beware there is an angry bees nest nearby and when you disturb the nest, they sure dont tickle. Whoops, but... it looks like a great spot for the cache. Ill try again next week..
At school Hugo and I were watching to see if his cache had popped up and at the end of the day it had so decided to get FTF. We got there but Mrs Fernando got there first so we got a second to find TFTC Hugo.
FTF and covered in prickle ends! Mrhugopro a nasty hide - making us all crawl through the spiky bushes but a goodie. I had to battle with Sykeskids for this one as they turned up after I had searched for 10 minutes already. My phone had gone to SOS I was lucky to spot it before them. TFTC took TC
