Out for a day of exploration & dodging rain, this was one of the caches we found on our travels... Arrival at GZ looked a little daunting, but luck may have been with us today as I found the cache after only half a circuit of GZ [^]
TFTC firnsy & the Allied Pranksters [^] Been awhile since we have found an AP hide & this one lives up to the usual expectation Cache was in good condition.

Out for an day if geocaching on the bike for a change, and it was safe to say I had a blast! So many trails to ride up here!
This one took a little longer to locate, but I got there in the end! Great hide! TFTC!

TFTC! Spent the day out caching with Barnzy12 and krabiBoy. We went to the suburbs of Lesmurdie, Kalamunda and Carmel chasing a number of quick and easy park and grabs, a few
Archived caches, and a few caches that helped fill some DT Grid.
We changed the dynamic up today, Barnzy Drove and i instantly regretted the decision not to take my car however it was due for a service and i was now the navigator. So we picked KrabiBoy up from Bayswater area where he was getting some extra bits added to his car.
We chased a heap of nanos and micro caches in Kalamunda, a few of which seemed to be missing, which was quite frustrating, and we had some DNFs through there. We then avoided other micros in the area and concentrated on some simple park and grabs to get the numbers up for the day.
We then moved our attention to the lesmurdie falls national park and grabbed a few odd caches in there including a nice and simple Earth Cache.
We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs. The outback jack series was next which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.
Thanks to the COs for a Great day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

We changed the dynamic up today, with Cravos car in for a service we had to take my car and have me drive and him on the Nav, which is an interesting role reversal from the norm. So we picked KrabiBoy up from Bayswater area where he was getting some extra bits added to his car.

We then moved our attention to the lesmurdie falls national park and grabbed a few odd caches in there including a nice and simple Earth Cache. We encountered some decent terrain through the area, which really got the heart racing and even had me forgetting to navigate us to the last cache in a small loop we grabbed!!
We moved further into lesmurdie area and grabbed a few of the small bunches of caches placed by fernandogirls, which were mostly nice quick grabs before turning our attention to the last loop I had left of the outback jack series, which we completed quickly before heading to the car to grab the final in the series, which has been on the radar for far too long.
All in all it was a great day, with many tall tales told and war stories shared. A fair bit of piss take on my driving skills and Cravos navigation skills until we decided to restore order by having Cravo drive my new car! Which thankfully came
Back in one piece.
Thanks to the COs for a lovely day out and we can't wait to come back for more!!

For a long time, Barnzy12, cravo10 and I have been trying to tee up a day to head out and grab some caches. Finally the planets aligned and we were able to get out and about today.
We headed up the hill to start clearing up some of the caches around Lesmurdie and Carmel.
While searching we had some dogs cone rushing up to us that were off their leads. Found after a few minutes without too many dramas.
TFTC firnsy.

Woohoo!! Happy dance!!
After a very tough bike ride to the top of Pomeroy Rd I decided to come up here and just have a quick look while I recovered a little bit. Last time I was here I searched these stumps for a very long time, but this time I managed a very quick find. Unfortunately I didn't have a pen with me as I wasn't expecting to find the cache, so I improvised with a piece of charcoal and left my mark and the date in the log.
Thanks for the cache firnsy!

Found it! Added a quick detour after my morning walk group to find these few. Got a bit grubby from the charcoal.
Finding this was one thing, extracting the log another! Very aptly named cache Firnsy, a tricky little hide!
Parked up close to this one and searched for ages with no luck, went to find some other caches close by and have another go on the way back. Second try was a success, very sneaky hide we loved it!!Nice to have a tricky one sometimes.
1st day of the "Geocaching Road Trip" souvenir collection today and first cab of the rank is the favourite souvenir. (Find a cache with at least ten favourite points). I did a quick search the other night to see where I might earn the prize and this one came up near the top on my GSAK filter.
I knew it wasn't going to be too easy, I had actually previously bypassed attempting it on more than one occasion. But today I allocated myself about thirty minutes for the hunt and after parking up very close to GZ I began my search. It wasn't very systematic at first and about ten minutes in I stopped to take stock of the situation.
I read back on a few logs and had a little think about it before diving in again. This time I spotted something that looked a little odd, gave it a wiggle with my finger and nearly dismissed it. Luckily I dragged out the phone torch for a closer look and decided that it must be the cache. It took another ten minutes to extract the container from its hidey hole but I was glad to eventually have the log book in my blackened hands.
Thanks for the challenge, the souvenir and the grubby fingers, awarding a favourite.
firnsy I found your cache at 4:58pm, this was the 1st of 2 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 1998. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Tried to follow Dnanx's clue but its a DNF will watch to see those who follow go.
Back in the Hills again to find a handful of the apparently infinite amount of caches to improve the stats a little bit.
After walking about 10k-s I hopped in the car and decided to do some park and grabs on the ones not far off the roads.
Parked straight in front of GZ, but the GPS was dancing around a bit. Finally I decided to focus on the name of the cache, and soon spotted something unusual. It still took some time to get the container out of the hiding place. TFTH

The last time I was in Bickley, there was only a handful of caches to be found in the vast reaches of the bush. It is great to see that there are so many reasons to make multiple trips up to the hills to find such a wide variety of caches. I took another early morning tour of the area today. The weather was calm and cool, but pleasant. I didn't see much wildlife moving about though, just a few kangaroos. Well wedged in place. I took a phone call while finding this one. I eventually discovered it as I was idly probing with my fingers while chatting about what I was going to do for the rest of the day. TFTC firnsy
I managed to sneak out for an hour of caching before family appointments and this was the last one I stopped at, mainly because I spent ages looking for it and couldn't find it before running out of time.
The GPS had me bouncing between the charcoal on the ground and the charcoal standing up 10m away, so I searched both areas thoroughly, but not thoroughly enough as it seems, as dnanx had no trouble finding it.

Nicely made tricky. I liked it. No pen so I'll come back. Good place to walk geomutt. Tftc
Sneaky! Went out with mum for a nice walk in the sun after our mother's day lunch. TFTC
Searched for about 20 minutes before finishing it with mrhugopro TFTH TFTH nice hide x
Out exploring with K.B. and we stopped at this cache during our travels. Thanks for the cache.
The cache was jammed into its hiding spot so the extraction took considerably longer than the hunt. Thanks for the cache firnsy.
Up in the hills again today with Chwiliwr and his Better Half. Loved this one, though could see how others might miss it. Well done firnsy
Out for a day of caching around the hills.
Didn't fool me but could see how others might have had trouble.
Thanks firnsy for the cache.

Thanks firnsy for the cache.
Think we got very lucky here because we had the hide in hand with iluvtrekking and JacobsCrew within seconds of arriving at gz. Five pairs of eyes scouring the feature soon had us marvelling at this very clever camo. Definitely a favourite point and our nominated cache of the day. Thanks firnsy
Beautiful weather with another big caching day with Richlinks and Iluvtrekking, in the hills this time, great camo and was a quick find for us here. fav for me. TFTC
Found with richlink and JacobsCrew while out and about in Kalamunda. A very clever cache which we voted our COD (Cache Of the Day) Thanks firnsy.
We're close to this one after grabbing a couple of nearby caches but it's dark and looking for an AP hide in the daylight is usually a challenge but........ Here we are scratching around a black log at 7:15, and it is dark!
MrsML has the radar on and spots a likely place which, when investigated, proves to be the targets resting place. And black it is too!!
So we sign the log feeling quite satisfied with our effort. Even went back to the ute to grab the hat for a pic.
TFTC pranksters.

Back up this way for another caching day with Luna Maya.
We had a great day even though it was quite warm. I ended up with 22 finds and a couple of DNFS. We even managed to get a FTF while we were up here. Most caches were found quite quickly with a few that took a bit of searching.
YIPPEE this was my 4000th find....
I knew i would be reaching my 4000th find today so i had picked this cache to reach that milestone.
We parked very close to GZ and i could see the object we had to search. We walked over to it and i decided to put my GPS down for a moment. I went to pick it back up and noticed something just slightly out of place and it was the cache. That was really lucky as i thought we might of been there for a while, I have to give you a favourite point for the hide and the camo TFTC firnsy
