Decently easy find DIDNT want to take travel bug in disgusting condition log was wet mold in cache tftc
This cache is so wet! Travel bug needs some sun! Put a replacement log in but it won't stay dry for long due to everything else being so wet
I have no idea how this took my that many tries but it sadly did. I’m happy I found it though TFTC
19 August 2023 14:44 found by BFG after a round of disc golf caching. Walked up the hill, should have waited for a ride! TFTC extn8891 for placing this cache, number 12888 for me.
I found this after a short search — it had migrated a small amount. Signed for both of us and wedged back. TFTC extn8891!
Well hidden, easy to find if you follow hint. Our Son left some stickers for the next to find.
Over summer, I've been playing a bit of disc golf at the nearby course. On my way there this morning I thought I'd stop and try to find this cache. Had the place to myself which was nice. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its place all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
Really nice spot. It's my second cache found. Not too hard to find thanks to the hint. Cheers!
Found it a bit hard still found it though its a good cache may need a new log soon
Our lunch stop for today. Quick find once we worked out where east was. Cheers
Day 12- Christmas Eve, Tuesday 24 December. Around New Plymouth again today.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are spending Christmas exploring Taranaki via geocaching. Its been an amazing 3 week adventure. Rattls BBQ was a great event, meeting many other cachers. But also managed to fit in a few more events, especially New Years Day celebrating the start of 2020. Lots of caches - over 500. Lots of cache maintenance. Lots and lots of kilometers. And lots of amazing places visited along our journey. Mt Taranaki remained elusive for much of our travels and the caches on it at the top. Loved Pukekura Park Night Lights Show and the the Wooden Mechanical toy exhibition at NP Info centre.

Stopped here for a lunch break. nice and sunny day. Was going to add merrilands domain to the map but someone has beaten me to it.
Day twelve of Taybeedragon's and my big 3 week circumnavicaching trip around Mt Taranaki, starting from Palmerston North. Today is wandering about New Plymouth. Merry Christmas!
Highlights:
* 3 weeks, 536 caches
* Mt Taranaki had been removed for washing, which was a bit of a shame. Even after it had been returned we were only allowed to see it for it was less than half an hour a day.
* High percentage of caches with crappy coordinates
* Amazing Pukekura Park
* AMAZING Pukekura Park light show!
* Pukeiti Gardens
* Lots of cache maintenance!

Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](https://coord.info/GC87777) - you won't want to miss it!

Thanks extn8891 for the cache. It’s #1151 for us. We found your cache on 23 December 2019. Quick find - we needed it after the last one which took us 1.5hrs!! Shame the view has disappeared!
may the goddess of the universe guide your soul with beautiful treasures to keep

#6474. I came up to New Plymouth last week for a work trip. Decided to stay on a day to do some local geocaches before flying home. Rented a car and cruising around picking up caches close to the main roads. Headed down to this park to pick up the cache. Did quickly check out the cache in the valley below but the place was awash with dog walkers so flagged it away and came back up the hill. Nice quick find here. Good to start off with a find. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for hiding it here extn8891.
Woo hoo our 60th cache. No view anymore as trees have grown too big. Container dry although log book still damp
