As this place is undergoing major reconstruction, cache page has been updated so cachers can still do this multi gathering different information.
Our coordinates led us to a very obvious spot -- but no cache was found. Too many muggles made continuing the search difficult. We'll have to come back!
A new clubrooms is being built. All tradies and storage containers. I couldn't even see any Car parks on the South side. TFTC.
Came to attempt this one today but the works on the club room have made getting a few answers very difficult.
When we pulled up, I didn't think that we would be able to complete this one but my fellow cacher was able to find a different access to what we needed. The necessary info was gathered, the coords worked out and a nice stroll was made to GZ. It was a nice quick find for us here today. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
We had to use satalite view of google maps to work out some of this cache due to some works. It was all good though! Eventually some likely coordinates were calculated, and we headed off to see if we were correct. A common geocaching hiding spot was soon spotted, and upon further inspection the cache was soon found. Thanks so much for placing this cache Pa_i_ge maaddii.otoole
22:30, 22 June 2018, #726. Out with n0w0rries doing a few night caches in the area what a fun little multi this was. With some tricky maths we finally came up with the correct co-ords and then headed off to GZ. Enroute we found some lovely night creatures, 1 being a lovely frog (see pic) and then we went back to caching. We then found a huge wombat hole and n0w0rries decided to hide in it lol...then we found the cache nearby, great camo.. and what a tricky little one this was... TFTC.
Every time I pass by this reserve there are muggles everywhere.
Caching tonight with Boatietim and we had the place to ourselves.
It may have been easier to do this multi in daylight but I dare say it wouldn't have been as much fun.
Like so many others before us, we learned to pay attention to detail.
With the numbers crunched and a likely looking GZ calculated we walked towards our goal.
Not able to find what we were looking for we started to read some old logs.
We then widened our search area considerably and all we found was a frog.
A PAF soon had us back in an spot that we had already searched and this time we went a little further.
I almost ended up in one of the largest wombat burrows that I've seen in quite a while.
The cache was found and signed.
The lid has come detached but still clips back on ok.
That is 2 unloved caches in this park of 236 days each for Tim tonight.
Thanks for a great little urban adventure Pa_i_ge maaddii.otoole

Fresh from a walk in Smiths Gully I was off to find Capture the Flag for one of those elusive ‘ZZ’ in the cache code and stopped by to see whether I could pickup this multi which was at the closest parking point for Capture the Flag. I had read the cache description prior to arrival so counted the speed humps as I went over them. Parking spots and light poles were then duly counted and one number adjusted regarding the northern car park and I was off to GZ.
What a set of geotrails here. I’m glad I hadn’t paid too much attention to the previous logs as I might well have DNFd but given the hunt for Sparkky’s First this was a toddle. Found in the third place I looked and yes, the terrain rating is accurate. No need to go too far down the hill. I suspect that the cache had perhaps creeped elsewhere given the DNFs from players who are generally pretty good at locating plastic in all sorts of places.

The clues aren't the hard part of this cache. In fact I was able to solve all those from the comfort of home with help from the Googles. But finding the actual cache is the hard part. It wasn't helped by my choice of inappropriate caching footwear, thongs!
It was definitely almost a DNF after searching all the areas I thought were obvious. Going back through old logs and finding the tip off that I needed was the key. But even then I was close to giving up! TFTC

Clearing some Eltham caches tonight. Grabbed a bunch of traditionals and multis. Sorted out coords we thought, but it did not reveal itself tonight.
I was unable to find this one after I guessed my co-ords were wrong even though I triple checked them.
23/04/2017 16:42 Couldn't Find GZ, I suspect that I have the wrong co-ordinates, I must check the calculations with the CO.
Spent a short time searching but had no luck. Will try again when back in the area. Thanks anyway.
That was hard! I was a bit discouraged by the DNFs and there are so many hiding places here for an Eclipse cache. I kept coming back to something I spotted early on, so once I looked a bit harder I found it, was almost about to give up! Thanks
Spent considerable time waiting while a family of muggles played all around GZ. Then we could not find it. Damn !

After a CITO event in Hurstbridge, and some entertainment watching some tree climbing activities, the weather had at least improved to the point where I could attempt a few caches.
This cache... I've been here counting light poles and things on no less than three occasions, and was beginning to seriously doubt my observation and math skills. But nope. It was the GPSr's inability to give me a definitive search area, leaving too many possibilities. A comment in a recent find log gave me a clue to narrow the possibilities down, and finally, I can claim success.
Thanks for more entertainment than I should have had here, Pa_i_ge.

Found it after a bit of struggle with numbers. Took nothing left micro USB to iPod charge adapter.
A nice, although slightly damp, day for a walk.....found the required info and soon had the log signed. Thanks for bringing me here.....I shall come back and do more of the walk when the weather improves.
I was driving by and, on a whim, decided to stop and take a stroll.
Cool weather and plenty of wildlife made it a great walk. I even disturbed a mixed flock of Little and Long - billed Corellas almost at GZ. They were digging up something from the ground and looked like they had been at it for awhile.
Cheers Pa_i_ge, thanks for the break.

My final answer couldn't be found in Google maps. After getting frustrated and checking my answer multiple times I realised I had an extra space between s and e coords. Thanks Google. But I got there in the end TFTC
This was not my first visit but my first where I got everything right! Needed the clue to find something suitable. Thanks Pa i ge.
I found myself in need of some caching therapy this afternoon, and having solved this one a week or so ago I decided to nick out and grab it quickly.
Creek was up a little and the puddles nearby were big enough to splash and play about n but the cache was dry and all was found.
Thanks for the cache here - I even found room for a small TB back from NZ...

Suscoe was in Melbourne for a few days staying in this area.
The weather was pleasant for caching with some sunny breaks, cloud at times and a gentle breeze to keep things mild.
Ideal weather really for an enjoyable wander about the streets and parkland areas.
We enjoyed doing the many caches we found and appreciated the work done by the many cache owners.
This is an area of Melbourne that we haven't visited much and we were amazed by the hilly nature of the ground, the steep driveways, and the trees.
We did the numbers here on a previous visit but came up with not much.
We checked our co-ordinates with a previous finder and we got the right numbers back then.
So today with some additional time we found this cache hidden quietly where we had briefly looked last time.
How did we miss that??????
Thanks to Pa i ge for placing this cache and for the multi.

I, like many other Victorians, have decided to take the Monday off and make this a 4 day Melbourne Cup weekend. This means that I can spend a bit of the time caching. Today I thought that I would wander around the Eltham area so I hitched the bike on the car and off I went. I parked up at Edendale Farm and jumped on the bike.
A quick find. TFTC.

I was out walking today and stopped here to replace the mushy logbook with a fresh one (in a small ziplock bag).
I'm helping Mountain Goat get to 500 caches today. This was a fun little cache that got him a step closer to his goal. We were a bit concerned with the recent string of DNFs but once we worked through the clues we quickly had the cache in hand. The log book was in no signable condition though. TFTC!
#462 - Down in the suburbs for a fun day of caching with uvtorch. Recent DNF's didn't stop us from trying to find it anyway and I'm glad we did! The logbook is mush inside the cache, took photo.
We couldn't work this one out at all today.
GZ seemed to want us to head down to the creek.
A couple of possible number combinations seemed possible here.
Couldn't see the light at all.

Sezza price, jitterj and i looked in two different places based on the number of parking spaces but could not find this elusive cache.
Out for a walk from research to eltham with wazza.artist and sezzaprice Hoping to get a bunch of caches on the way and that the weather holds.
This one proved too hard to find either to well camo'd or missing even tried different variations of numbers to search 2 locales. Will try again.

This was my third visit to find the cache and I was doubting my maths. I rechecked the numbers, got the same answers so headed off to where my GPS was pointing. After reading previous logs I decided to widen my search area and this time I found the cache hidden away. The log is damp so signing it was a problem. Thanks for keeping me entertained for my past three visits.
No luck despite a thorough search.May be a problem counting car spaces .... needs another visit
Out and about trying to hit the record for the most caches in a day for me. Out with my brother andy12031990. Tftc
A quick visit back to this cache to show my friend what Geocaching is all about, after he helped me drop of "Mandarin Miracle" and pick up "Sam the Stingray", who came along for the visit

I am logging this old find I made with Legomango9. He now wants me to create my own separate account.
Small hiccup on what to count as car spaces. After correcting our numbers led us to GZ. Nothing to take so left a small badge as a swap.
We had a spare hour this afternoon, so decided to wander down to the soccer ground, grab a sausage sizzle, watch some soccer and solve this cache.
Number of poles - check.
Number of parking spaces - check and check.
Number of speed bumps - check.
Sat down to do the maths …
a - c = -1 … uh oh.
checked again, found a possible error.. got some coords, but doubts lingered after that first misfire. We walked to the GZ, and there was no obvious cache at the GZ according to my coords. Widened the search area, starting to consider a trip back to the soccer ground.. read the hint and some logs.. looked again - Eureka! job done TFTC and the nice little puzzle!

Out for a Saturday mornings cache run, cruising around looking for multi's for the Multi Month Challenge, I've completed it now but it's such a good cause I thought I'd keep going to the end of the month.
Gathered the clues and started the decode but the maths didn't work so I recounted and tried again and got a better result this time. Headed off to the GZ but there was nothing at the exact location that matched the hint. I widened my search and eventually made the find at 17 meters from my calculated GZ.
Thanks for placing this cache Pa_i_ge

DNF. My maths just wasn't adding up.... Until i got home now I have the coords and will have to revisit soon.
At first my maths didn't add up, silly me how could I miss a light pole!
Anyway I got it in the end,
Thanks [:x]

We found this cache today at 5:50pm as number 20 of 24 on our Aqueduct Tour of Research. solved the numbers and enjoyed the walk down to the cache. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
Out on my own today to clear up a few in Eltham that I had missed. Great day for it and I have not been to this part of Eltham before even though my brother had lived nearby and visited the area lots of times. I was very impressed with the parklands and the playgrounds as I walked from a nearby cache.
Very busy here today as the locals were out practicing. Picked up the clues easy enough and did the maths. Decided to walk onto the wetlands and pick this one up on the way back. Needed to widen my search a little as a checked out a couple of different options. Love the cache container.
Great to see the kids enjoying the outdoor and in such a lovely area. Picked up the clue for the final
Thanks R36 for bringing me here, lovely green area

Did the numbers a few weeks ago and had no luck. Today I was back and checked my counting and calculations. i thought I was going to miss out again. As I was about to abort the mission I had one last look and was surprised with what I found. My GPS or calculations were out a little though.
Took not of the clue and headed off.

Here in the company of quiet1_au and GJMMelb first on bikes, but now on foot. Our calculations were right, and we found the cache in the second area we searched. We watched the yellow team score two goals in the short time we were here. I think they were the home team. TFTC
Information gathered we did a slight detour to pick up a nearby traditional before heading to GZ. Here we searched a while, glad of a low terrain rating to eliminate that particular area from our search before widening our search area. I spotted something (lucky to be on the right side to see it) and sure enough it was the cache in suitably themed "camouflage" TFTC
Found with Lochb and Quiet1_au as described below. We got the information easily and then walked over to Gz for an easy find. Thanks Pa i ge

Harder than it should have been, only because the GPSr led me astray initially. That left me questioning the coordinates and broadening the search area with no success. Checked on other possibilities for GZ assuming I had a digit wrong but that didn't help either.
So I stuck with the original calculation and this time it led me to the cache. Should have known better!
Anyway, I was fortunate enough to see a goal while I was collecting the required information.

I had been to this locale caching before but not for this cache. Once at wp1 it was very pleasing that the clues were easy to extract and the maths pretty simple too. I was therefore fairly confident of my GZ and after wandering around for a tad I was soon extracting the cache.
This is the last of 10 clues in this series, which is just as well as it is raining steadily and very cold. Collected numbers and enjoyed short walk to GZ. Thanks Pa I ge.
Another Monday and what a cold one it was, we clocked up a few KM's tonight finishing some Mulits and a couple of puzzles that have been in the solved pile for some time. Thanks Pa_i_ge for the cache.
Another cold Monday night see's Rebel Acts and I on the trail looking for plastic. A small haul was made due to the number of multi's , muggles and tricky hides. Lots of soccer players here today. Made a mistake with the numbers that had us 30 metres off. Corrected it was soon found. Thanks.

I'd picked up the numbers for this one yesterday morning but alas, I had no time to have a search - or so I thought. On dialling in the numbers, it looks like I actually did have time. Oh well. In the car again today, I dropped by to finish of yesterday's work and had the stash in hand quite quickly at 08:35.
TNLNSL photographed clue. Thanks Pa_i_ge maaddii.otoole.

I decided it was time to find another one of the caches in this series and so came to Eltham North this morning. A quick run around in the drizzle soon had all the answers I needed and then it was back to the shelter of the car to work out my destination. With that done, all that was left was to brave the weather and find the cache...and a short walk soon had that task accomplished. With the log signed and the clue recorded, it was then back to the car and home to do some work.
Thanks to Pa_i_ge & maaddii.otoole for the cache...not too many to go for me now.

Thanks again Pa i ge, great little cache.

Okay we have a DNF on this one. It may be that we had the coords wrong after doing the maths? A question arose as to whether one of them was a parking space or not? Mmmm.
Still, it felt like we were in the right area. Too many people about though to hunt and widen the search as a soccer clinic/games were on at the time of our visit.
We'll come back again soon and have a second go. This is the last one we need before embarking towards Waypoint Z and on to the final cache in this series.

Arrived at the area only to find a big crowd for the football match and a kids day or something. Have to come back again another day........onwards to Research ------->
We have now found all the caches in this series and have all the clues collected. It shouldn't be too long before we solve the puzzle and find the final cache. TFTC.
A very nice easy puzzle for this one. The old iphone appeared to be 9m off my calculated way point, however could have been some dodgy maths done by a tired brain. Loved the camo. Got a few giggles. TFTC Paige. Oh and found with the trusty eyes of MegUA
Found tonight with Kirstmac, after a brief calc once we gained the easy info required made our way to GZ. I had thought many times when riding past here that it would make a good spot to hide a cache. Clue collected. Tftc Paige.
We had a bit of time up our sleeve before school pick up this afternoon and we decided to have a crack at this multi and after some quick calculations we soon went on the hunt and after a bit a search came up with the cache, thanks Pa i ge for the cache, we had a ball with this one.
Out for a walk with the geogreyhound when I came across Mr and Mrs LinearZZ scratching their heads about North and South. After a previous log made all things clear, we went off to retrieve the cache. TFTC
We had a quick look for this cache 3 days ago but the calculated coords did not make sense, being only a few metres from an existing cache. Fortunately the FTFinder had done the hard yards and figured out the error, switching north and south. We met thetaz at the sports ground as they were about to walk their greyhound and together we went to the modified coords with a successful find at 11:00am. An unusual hide. TFTC
Once the bananas saw that this was on someone's tennis court we gave up.
Not a good place to put something that should be found.

*FTF* 18/03/2014 @ 3:48 pm despite the N/S error.
Unfortunately I don't have a Smartphone and only just got around to logging the FTF on this cache as I've been out and about ever since.
I was heading over this way to help out a friend and noticed before I left home that this multi still hadn't been found, possibly due to an error or two. Having sorted out an error-ridden new multi about 6 months ago, I decided to apply some similar logic to this one once I had collected the numbers.
I parked on the south side of the clubrooms and collected all the clues. I calculated the co-ords which gave a cache location about 1.3 km away and, according to my GPSr, in the middle of some housing. Initially I thought that a 9 instead of an 8 had been placed in the whole minutes part of the easting but that would have taken me 500 m away to a housing estate. Interchanging the decimal parts of the easting and southing like I did for the previous multi didn't look right so I interchanged the north and south clues and voila, I found that I only needed to walk a short distance to the cache. [^]
My GPSr took a while to settle at GZ, probably due to the trees, so I took a squiz at the very good hint and noticed only one possible location. I quickly found the creatively camo’d cache and when I checked the logbook I was happy to find it was still blank. I signed the logbook at 3:48 pm for my 27th FTF. TNLN.
Thanks Pa_i_ge maaddii.otoole for the challenging multi and wonderfully themed cache. I did a few in the series on the way to my friend’s place and look forward to doing the others soon.

It is so much easier to solve a treasure when the clues make sense.
The bananas first to find took nearly 8 hours of continuous searching starting with an early morning swim some 200 meters out into Bass Strait. It followed with a beach search, a lake search, a monument search, a pier search before it was finally found under a bridge. Several other options were sought when the first options did not produce results. It was hard work.
Now if the problem seems obvious the brute effort is now not so intent.
But today with the obvious flaw corrected the treasure was found within 15 minutes of publication.
Now with the complete ensemble in hand the final clue was already known from a little brute to resolve the lot.
But alas more errors could not resolve the final problems. Although the bananas did try.

Went out tonight, tried all sorts of co-ordinate combinations, but to no avail, maybe things need checking?
