As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Had attempted this one on a dark winter night with no joy. Today on a nice sunny it was a nice quick find, sign and replace. TFTC
Needed 4 "Regular" sized caches for a GIO Licence challenge so it was off to East Auckland this morning where I knew some were. Nice quick find. TFTC (Didn't have time for a swing)
We knew where this should be, but we took our time to find it. Thought about having a go on the swing but it looked slightly flimsy
Early day today. So started caching around this area. Nice little park, the walkway too.
Out picking up caches with attributes needed for our ongoing attempt at completing the GIO Licence.
Met the COs at GZ and provided them with some mirth as we looked for ages before realising we were on the wrong side! Covered in mud, we signed the log and headed off.

Arrived at the meeting point for a planned mud spa appointment a little bit too early and took a stroll to GZ with Agazo. TFTC
We were caching in a large group and had completed a few caches nearby. There were only 3 of us that had not previously found this cache, so the remainder of the group got chatting to the CO who came out from his house nearby while we made the find, signed the log and returned the cache to its hiding place. TFTC.
Third attempt but we finally found it!! GPS had put us in the wrong place each time, but not this time! Kids enjoyed the swing
Couldn't find this on our first ever day of cacing so it was nice to come back and get this out of the way. TFTC

The last cache we found today with chrisandmum and AucklandReindeer. Got to GZ, and the kids were more interested in the swing, so off they went while we hunted. chrisandmum and Mrs NewlynFam stood round about where we thought GZ was, and proceeded to have a bit of a chat about where this cache was, while AucklandReindeer wandered a few more steps away, and then very quickly called out "found it!" Oh- lol!!!
Log signed on NZTravellers bright, shiny new log, and cache replaced. A few more swings for the kids to be had, and off we went.

Approached GZ and saw that there were muggles playing on the Cache namesack!
Looked on the other side of GZ and there was yet more muggles saying goodbye to guests............ MAN O MAN not our day!
Walked past GZ to a park bench and noting that the last log stated the log paper was wet we got a new bag and fresh log paper ready to install into the cache.
Re-approached GZ and noted the visitors had departed so started making a search. Then
we are approached by said muggle saying that we were looking in the correct area.... turns out this muggle is the CO's Mum!
Had a good chat and she stated that the container had a missing lid so they had removed it and hadn't got around to replacing. We told her about our new bag and log so she took this for us saying she would replace this into the cache container.
Great meeting the CO's Mum and as it turned out this CO owned a Multi cache that we had struggled with earlier in the day.
Armed with new information from CO's Mum we decided to give the multi another go after this one.
TFTC and great meeting you all!

Found with no lid and the log is very wet.
It was a bit in the open and have place it back a little more hidden

Apologies for the very late and cut and paste log - I have been AWOL for a long while.
Found as part of the crazy crew that were up from Hamilton for the day with the specific objective of finding as many D/T combinations as possible.
Had a huge amount of fun and appreciated the huge effort put in by the cache owners in placing and maintaining their caches.
Many thanks

Out on a caching raid north of the Bombay hills with Cats&Dragons, HKCB, iammrwalker, Kiwi69, Zorgon and 11hpg11 on a 40 D/T mission for the day.
Although not on the mission list it was close by, so who can resist a closeby cache

I found this cache as a member of a group of the Hamilton Geocaching Overachievers Club. We signed the logs using an anachronism made up from our Geocaching handles MCHIKZ1 (McClutchan Clan, Cats&Dragons, HKCB, iammrwalker, Kiwi69, Zorgon and 11hpg11) to save on log space and time. We were on another mad mission devised by C&D to find 40 different DT ratings in one day. We left Hamilton at 5:30am and returned at 9:30pm tired, scared but most importantly successful.
This cache was to close to ignore even though it was another nearby cache we were after for our mission. I was so busy looking for plastic boxes I nearly missed the cool looking swing near GZ. I'm sure it has been enjoyed by lots of young children in the area, and the young at heart.

On yet another memorable and fun-filled day-long caching mission around Auckland with McCutchanClan, HKCB, IamMrWalker Cats&Dragons, Zorgon and 11hpg11, aiming to find as many different D/T combinations as possible before caching exhaustion takes over. A whole heap of fun and, for once, the bonus of surprisingly little blood spilled along the way!
We were nearby for a particular D/T cache & meant to be focussed but it's soooooo hard to walk by another nice little cache that's only a few metres away. Thankfully a quick find, sign & replace. Signed the log as McHICKZ1 to save log-book space, thanks for a cool placement, TFTC

A small mission a long time in the making. Caching in Auckland to try and get as many different D/T combos as we could in a day. We signed the logs as MCHIKZ1 to save room, an acronym for our team consisting of: McCutchan Cache Clan, Cats&Dragons, HKCB, Iammrwalker, Kiwis69, Zorgon and myself. An early start, a lot of kms traveled and a whole lot of laughs in-between. I think we all had a great time seeing a variety of different cache types and styles
No time for swings today, although it does look like a fun one! Thanks for showing us this area

Out in Auckland today with the main goal of finding as many different D/T combos as possible. This trip has been a few weeks in the making with a lot of planning, and puzzle solving going into it. Together with McCutchan Cache Clan, Cats&Dragons, myself (HKCB), Iammrwalker, Kiwis69, Zorgon and 11HPG11, we managed to get quite a few, 41 to be exact! An early start was needed and around 15 hours later we made it back home, mission accomplished. Although some of us did want to continue on, most of us needed to get back to the muggles in our lives before we got into serious trouble. We signed the logs as MC HIKZ1 to save room, an acronym for our team.
Not part of the D/T tally for the day, but an error loading up the nearest cache instead of the cache we were going for meant we were close enough to this one to not go that little bit more and find the cache. Thanks for the placement.

Found after waiting for a break in the muggle traffic. Geokids ran interference while the cache was extracted and duties completed. TNLNSL TFTC
A few kids playing in the reserve but i was able to duck under and quickly spot the cache. Signed log and replaced, TFTC!
We were out on a little cache run around East Auckland today, working on collecting some requirements towards our GIO Licence challenge on Rangitoto Island.
No muggles around today, but certainly felt very exposed here. Found an empty jar - a decoy container?! But then we soon found the right container, and had the log book signed. Thanks for the hide!

Easy find out in the open. I'm not sure this is where the cache was intended to be, so I re-hid the cache out of sight. TFTC.
A pretty cool looking swing nearby but we only had time to locate the cache, all quiet at GZ apart from some boisterous neighbours too preoccupied to take notice of us, TFTC.
With an hour or so freed up this afternoon I decided it was time to revisit this hide and turn the frown upside down, so to speak. After getting muddy at the nearby creek hide I was prepared to get down and dirty at this GZ. No need, as I spotted the hide immediately this time. Cheers for replacing! Thanks for the cache placement!
Out for the day with garball and merlot47. Needed to hunt around a bit for this one, found in the open and a little on the wet side, replaced in what seemed a logical position. TFTC joshuam12345.

Out caching in a new area with casaba3 and merlot47 and we decided to go for some of the hides in this park we had not visited before. Found the cache container lying on the ground unfortunately but rehid where we thought it must have come from (even if GPS led us to a spot a few metres away). Luckily the log was still in there and dry (although the same could not be said of the rest of the contents - had to pour some water out). SInce it was rather wet we decided not to leave our trackables in here just in case. As it turned out, though, we didn't come across anywhere else to place them today . Thanks for bringing us here joshuam12345.
At GZ I came across a young lad looking for his iPhone. Turns out he knew all about the cache and the CO. However, even with his help I could not turn up the hide. Is it still in place?
Anyway, there was some good news as we managed to track down the missing iPhone.

Ryan promised me a day's caching now he has finished uni for the semester so we had a great day picking up caches that have appeared over time. No worries with the find and onto the next one. Thanks
Success with our last cache of the day! Cache has lost its lid, but someone had out a piece of board to protect the contents which were wet. Dried them out. SL. TFTC
Originally logged and found whilst out with mum (keylev) but now have own account so logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Thanks for the cache.

Very cool swing in a neat reserve. Was very nervous of the proximity of the houses but with a couple of kids with me they took care of distracting any attention. Did a couple of rounds before returning to my original hunch spot and there it was safely hidden from sight.
Thanks for hiding.
Thanks for hiding.
Made a little detour to grab this and its nearby cousin, glad that I didn't have to look for too long as the possibilities were numerous.
Thanks for the placement

So clever had to look hard at first but was a real surprise to find a coin in it! We left it for someone else
Saw this one pop up while we were away. Back home, there's nothing for it but to take the dog for a walk. Certainly no cover here for any discretion during the day. A very quick find once the kids playing around had gone. TFTC!!!
I thought it was about time to visit out east to do some caches. This was the fourth for the day and as I approached the GZ I admired the new bridge.
Cheers for the cache.

Needed to get some fresh air and a walk after dinner. Headed out. Never knew this park was there.
Approached the GZ. Realised that that the co ord's were about 20 + metres off. But by using my caching powers the cache was quickly found. Luckily none of all the muggles in their kitchens saw me!
Left a few TB's to be moved on.
