DNF #4. Alas no luck with this one. We used the revised ordinates posted by previous finders and searched the length and breadth. Two pair of eyes and extensive search. I'm pretty sure its gone missing.
Can the CO check this one out to see if its still in place?

No good...

Grab my raincoat from the boot.
Still DNF..

I'm logging a DNF on this one because we did have a very quick look in the obvious spots, but with the rain totally BUCKETING down now, the desire to find the cache was far less than that of getting back to the car and getting dry.
I was so worn out by now as I had scooted my scooter through these caches. Plus it was raining so the GPS was hard to see so we just scooted/walked uphill to the next one.

On the bike, kids are at gymnastics for the next tree hours! Time for a quick series!
Based on the name I knew it wouldn't be on the side the GPS showed. Quick find on the other side. Apologies to the spider who left that fly on the cache.

TFTC,
Time to finish this outstanding series. It is the end of 2014 and I am in the area so with 4 to go, it should be achievable if they are in place.
#8 was next and arriving at GZ in good light we moved in a single direction and within seconds Nana Nel saw what we were looking for about 16M from GZ.
2 down and 2 to go, visited a group of trackables.

Second time here at least this time we were lucky, a little thing waiting for me to sign. TFTC
#1336 (5 of 5 today)
Visiting friends in the Shire for a pleasant afternoon/night with good food & drink. Had my eye on a few new D/T combinations, but in the end grabbed just the one - should have left home earlier.
Afterwards, I decided to pick up what I could in a series in Illawong...
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * * *
Number 7 in the series is gone, so straight from #6 to here.
Got out of the car to be greeted (literally) by a neighbour putting out the garbage and driving off...
Once he'd left, GZ looked difficult for a night search. Decided to check the logs for a clue. Hmmm, coordinates off. Corrected and saw where that was pointing. Much better.
Quick find ensued. Would probably not have found it normally - not expanding my search radius to over there.

Took the advice of a previous finder who advised us that the coords were a bit off and made a quick find this afternoon with sesblocker. TFTC!
Yes, the co-ords are a out!! Found with 'the neighbs' on our second attempt. Glad to have these infamous Illawong caches completed!
Found it for Geomum AKA Shadysal. I would say it is located "Opposite" the Co-Ordinates
Last time I attemped this series I had enough dnfs that I skipped this one and drove to another caching district.
Back this time with RS's coordinates and made a find. Just two more to find at some later date.

Nope another dnf of this series , really a pity but maybe my eyes were not bright enough?

Third DNF for this series this morning.
Didn't have the coordinates provided in the log by Rainbow Spirit and hate standing in open places searching at the best of times.
It could be there if the coordinates are wrong but I wasn't spending any more time there.
Another Not Happy Not Not happy cacher experience.

Found with the new coordinates. Very exposed to houses across the street but at least it's not in someone's front garden.
A day in Sydney for work and then a spot of caching as I headed home.
With the revised coords from RS this was a quick find
Thanks

Slowly but surely knocking this series off- I think I'm permanently steering clear of the green fence as it is just too close to that house for comfort.
Anyway, with Rainbow Spirit's co-ords it didn't take too long until the nano was spotted. TFTC!

Despite a number of muggles I persisted and turned up the cache well off the listed coords at S 33 59.648 E 151 02.535. Thanks..
Searched around the objects that could hold a nano, and nothing. Better get home before this storm hits. Despite all the DNF's, we enjoyed our walk.

Ok, now what? Nothing around where GZ could be. Widened our search to other structures and, just like previous cachers... nothing.
After reading the logs I didn't get out of the car especially with a muggle right near GZ.
Gave up on this one. Co-ords appear to be in someone's garden. Plus had neighbour issues.
