Back for another look. Nothing. No one has found for a while and a NM log has not been addressed. CO not active for almost 18 months.
Time to go.
Time to go.
So much fence and so much rain. We'd made it back up the hill pushing our wee scooters all the way but our enthusiasm was truly dampened by this point. Looked left and right and up and down but that little guy didn't jump into our hands. Another time perhaps.
Too wet, too tired, and so much fence. Looked long enough to call it a search but no result this time.
On the bike, kids are at gymnastics for the next tree hours! Time for a quick series!
I know what I'm looking for, but it is hiding in the corners somewhere invisible for me...

Found it with "Benno". Number 2 in this series for us. New "cachers" and loving it.
TFTC,
Time to finish this outstanding series. It is the end of 2014 and I am in the area so with 4 to go, it should be achievable if they are in place.
#9 was the first and starting an inch by inch search I moved away from GZ in one direction and Nana Nelwent the other. About 6M from GZ Nana Nel found what we were looking for.
Visited a group of trackables.

Found with Wazza9 today, I thought not again been here before with no luck and I guessed that was going to happen again, but persistent paid off. TFTC
Visiting friends in the Shire for a pleasant afternoon/night with good food & drink. Had my eye on a few new D/T combinations, but in the end grabbed just the one - should have left home earlier.
Afterwards, I decided to pick up what I could in a series in Illawong...
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * * *
Felt uneasy searching for this one with a torch late at night.
Quick and non-thorough search turned up nothing. But may well be there.
While searching a few muggles walked down the footpath.
That's enough for me to cut and run with a DNF.

Finally came up trumps on our second attempt on this cache. A relatively quick find with sesblocker this afternoon. TFTC!
Took a few minutes of searching and the neighbours were getting concerned to what we were up to.
Cheers,

Showing a potential geocacher the ropes I took him to find this series. Thank You for the Cache.
Shadysal was feeling sad cos I kept finding them so I told(showed) her were it would be so she could get one.
Back in heritage rd where I found number 1 of this series I really thought to finish this one with a smiley.... Again zero , no luck, though i have thoroughly - might be gone??
Thx for your idea of this series and bringing me first time to illawong

Forget it.
My 5th DNF for the morning and there is no way I am going to spend any more time here.
Game set and match top the CO.
Lets hope that it is easier to find the next time I venture out this way.

A day in Sydney for work and then a spot of caching as I headed home.
Being mid afternoon the area was very quiet and I could have a thorough look. I certainly see why this one has the neighbours concerned.... not the best location.
Thanks

The owners of the green fence said they are sick of creepy people lurking around outside their house.
Even with my coords only 4 meters of, this one can proof to be very tricky. Above all that you want to make sure you search silently as wel!

The coords were pretty good here, and with some persistence I found the sucker in a likely spot. Thanks.
Decided to check out #9 direct from #1 as its a short walk away. Searched high and searched low and searched other places too. The GPSr was showing GZ as in the middle of a grass area with an EPE of 3 metres. Very disapointing.
After having found one of the easier one there was another break in work and the rain so seeing this one had updated co-ords we headed over. We soon saw the task at hand and let the GPSr settle. We then searched up and down for a bit until we felt the nano. We opened it up and confirmed **FTF**. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Coordinates changed to:
S 33° 59.805 E 151° 01.994

Revisited the cache after some users pointed out its location may be off; corrected the location.

Searched to no avail. This series takes you to some interesting locations, and while it's been a roller-coaster ride of FINDS and DNF's, we have enjoyed the walk. This cache trail will be more enjoyable once the coords have been "tweaked".
Firt DNF in the series- it is probably there somewhere but plenty of green fence to look over!
Same results as the previous cacher. Checked everywhere that a 2 star should warrant. Perhaps coords need checking?
Hmmmm co-ords on the roof of a house. Many spiders here plus a storm front closing in. Me thinks I'll settle for 2 FTF tonight. Thanks for the hunt
