Scratched around the rocks with a stick and still couldn't find it. Sure is a mess around here. Went around the corner and looked up and noticed we were on someone's property. And there were two dogs barking at us going crazy. So we left it.
Had a quick look while passing through, but no luck. Will have another look when I’m back in the area.
Lots of recent renovation activity here - trees cut down and rock wall has sustained damage. We had a good poke around but no joy
Team Ladava are up from Victoria for a bit of R&R so why not find a few local caches.
Had a quick look for this one on our way back to the unit yesterday but a fresh look today and the prize was soon in hand.

Out today with my family to grab a few caches to reach my *2000* find. 365 days ago I found my first cache. What a first year. Lots of first. Wollongong for first mega. Queen Land for my oldest cache. From kayaking to tree climbing and tree fishing. From Mystery to Virtual and adventure labs.
I need 13 caches today.
Sorry for the generic pos.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC Mzilikazi *319* streak. *1996* Find

Took a bit of looking but found by Geowife! Found before next rain patch came rolling through. Time for lunch! TFTC
After a lunch at Maleny we made our way to Montville to pick up my sister from the pub. She had been on a wine tasting tour and this was the designated end point. Now that I have seen the pub, I have added it to my bucket list of places to have a beer in.
Naturally I checked the app for any caches close by but wasn’t expecting much. We have visited Montville a few times and so I thought we had cleared it out. What was different today though was that the cars weren’t parked for miles and we could find a spot right across the road from GZ and the pub. Why aren’t there more caches near fine establishment that sell the amber ale? tftc

I love Montville so many beautiful shops. It reminds me of the Dandenongs in Melbourne. I browsed while muggle husband lunches. Then we decided to find a couple of caches. This one was not too difficult to ferret out.
Lovely drive through Glasshouse mountains. Had coffee & scones admiring the fabulous view. Tftc
Out caching with RoddyC after the lunch in Montville. Picking up caches as we go.
Nice hide. Quick and easy find.

Montville, not the easiest place to find a park [v]
Took all 3 of us a good 30mins to find this one. Lots of log reading till eventually BC made the find.

I am in Brissy for a few days to catch up with friends and do a little bit of geocaching.
Today, I teamed up with IolantheK, T-tech and Grand Poobah.
We did a little road trip from Maleny to Nambour. [^]
A slow wander as I am using crutches at the moment.
A bit slippery in places for the crutches.
Thanks for the cache.

Brother Colin is in Brisbane for a few days, and today he, T-Tech and I are heading up to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland to chase down a few choice caches. It'll be a very leisurely outing as he's hobbling along on crutches with a foot in a moonboot!
With parking a problem here, the fellas dropped me out and I started the search. However,
after a few minutes they came to join me as my phone had me all over the place. BC eventually made the find. TFTC, Milikazi.

Out and about with wombles today creating smileys in this beautiful part of the universe. Wombles had already found this one but was happy to return for me to discover it.

A delightful day trip to the Hinterland. Our third cache for the day. Cute little hidey hole. Mini but not micro. A cylinder behind a cone. TFTC
TFTC nice easy cache, but had to walk a little way as it is very busy today. TNLNSL
Eventually found a park as it was busy with the Markets being on. Walked the short distance to GZ and concentrated on the hint until I finally got a hunch to help me find the cache and soon had it in hand, the log was damp but I was able to sign it. Returned cache to the place I found it. TFTC
Living in Montville and driving past this spot all the time, it was time to turn a vacant calendar day into a find. Container found easily enough...was staring me in the face.
Thanks Mzilikazi
Thanks Mzilikazi
I drove through Montville today on my way home from work and decided to grab a cache while I had a few moments.
Arriving at GZ was easy enough but it took a little longer to find the cache.
The cache was eventually found and log signed.

Caching on the way to Montville on a Sunny Coast holiday. Took a bit of searching but lucky it was a very quiet Monday morning. TFTC Mzilikazi
1Minniemoo and I decided to spend the day up here in the clouds, at one stage they were thunderclouds!
The house here is for sale, you could buy a house with a cache in it's front yard!
Nice quick find, I could see something out of place.

Having parked the car over near the church and another cache, Wombles&Co and I decided we should stroll down to this one. On any other day I would have had to go looking in these little shops up here and perhaps stop for a bite to eat just up the road from this cache, I do love Montville. But today was about the caches, so we didn't step foot in the door of any of these places today.
This cache was quickly spotted by Wombles&Co. The house right beside this cache is for sale - oh to live in Montville!
Thanks for the cache Mzilikazi.

Second visit to this one - how did we miss this last time?! A quick find today -yay.
3.15pm. Soon found on a quick stop on a circuit of the hills.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Thank you. David and Noeline.
Fantastic spot for a cache. My husband spotted a suspicious pile of pine cones and there it was. Dropped off a trackable then had lunch overlooking the magnificent views. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
A real hunt was had for this one - fair play to those who said easy find! Well camoed. We were about to give up when we found it! Thank you. We forgot a pen to write in the log
We had had a very busy Thursday yesterday: alarm set for 5am, flight from Melbourne to Brisbane, grab the hire car, drive to our Montville hotel, get changed and get to a wedding by 2pm. So unfortunately no time for caching on Thursday - but, plenty of time today to make up for it. So this was our first cache find of our mini long weekend in sunny Queensland.
We had a nice day exploring around Montville before making our way back to Brisbane via The Big Pineapple and Mooloolaba.

TFTC,
Visited the area on the National Riley Rally and had time to look for the cache.
Loved the camo looking at you from above the cache hide but was disapointed to find the container full of water.
Removed the old log books and replaced with a new log sheet.
Visited trackables.

Found 5:41 pm with girlfriend and another friend who just hung around in background. We were visiting Montville as the proverbially tourists and didn’t have a lot of time. Montville had suffered a severe storm the night before and trees and stuff were down everywhere. We had to park down the road and since we were walking past this cache obviously I wanted to find it. But on the first pass no idea and couldn’t figure out with the bouncy GPS and I out voted and had to stop looking so we could explore Montville itself. Since we had to return I agreed. Later in the early evening we were walking back and approached GZ now I was more determined to find it. The hint was a tiny bit of help but as there was so much leaf litter and branches around we weren’t sure what was the bridge. I started to read the description and then decided to explore a little more and got suspicious about a spot and a little later returning to the spot yes the cache was there. Unfortunately it’s condition is super bad. The logs are fully wet and soggy. I ended up find a small bit of paper stuck to the lid and I could put my name there. Took a photo.
Thanks for the cache.

Yep as last found log entry the log is wet and mo pen. All returned to its hidey place.
Up the sunny coast for a few days after xmas and grabbing some caches around Flaxton, Montville, and over at Mt Collum, on my travels.
Cache tucked in its’s hidey hole and wet.

This took a while to find, it is well hidden. Unfortunately it was unsignable, it needs drying out and a new logbook.

Don't you hate being beaten by a newbie? My Mum is visiting for a few days and being Wednesday, it's geocaching day for my awesome geopartner WallabyTim and I, so we set off to show Mum around Mapleton and Montville. This was cache seven from seven for the day and Mum found it in a spot I had previously looked at! I think she's hooked now!!! TFTC
Found with my amazing geo-partner KaleidoscopeCass and Mother-inlaw Lois.. TFTC
Took a little bit of searching but with the help of our Travel Bug and avoiding muggles we found it and it was a nice way to finish our day.

Staying nearby for the weekend, so did a quick search and found it. Thought we'd get muggled, but all OK. TFTC
After walking the street of Montville and grabbing all of our bits and pieces, eating here and there, grabbing a new family board game, finally time for another cache.
Arriving at gz, with geo-farting daughter, a new waste of money thing she picked up at the game store, we starting searching. Some muggles walked by so geo-son tried to look casual but seamed to come across like he was staring at them, we tried to look casual in the bushes and geodaughter let out a random fart!
Muggles soon walked by, found cache, added a new log as it was wet, and then the fun began! Geo-son explains to us, the muggles said "let's get away from them as fast as we can!" Blame game is on! Geo-daughter blames geo-son for eyeballing them, geo-son blames us for hanging like creepy people in the bush and we all blame geo-daughter for letting one go as they walk by. We did all agree that we had to let muggles walk a bit further down the road so it didn't look like we were following them!

Birh logs abd bags Very wet. Mush. Replaced with new vag & lig but container is also wet so beeds maintenance. ...quick find though
Stopped in Montville on the way back from Noosa and thought some caching was in order whilst the others shopped.
As others have mentioned cache is water logged and mushy.
Photo logged as signing a pulpy mess not possible.
No sign of the snake.

No luck here today, but saw the local snake, which was not impressed by the cold weather.
Taking a group of young Chinese tourists here for the day. Not bad when you get paid to do geocaching.
My muggle partner discovered a large carpet Python about 10 metres from the GZ. She wouldn't go any further but I took a shit for my tourists.

Out on the Bus Trip with our Sunnybank RSL crew. While they were "window shopping", we popped off to grab a cache or three. This one was just 200 meters down a pleasant concrete pathway.
Took at while, though, as the hide wasn't obvious until I read something in another log that gave me an idea that paid off.
Unfortunately, the cache was fully water logged, and as we were not really on a geocaching trip, we were unprepared for replacement parts. Log far, far too wet (should I say Mushy?) for signing. Have photo for evidence.
The next cacher would be wise to take a replacement log if the CO can;t get to it quickly. Otherwise cache is in good condition.
Found at 11.30am on 19th July 2016. TFTC.

This was cache two of three to be found today while exploring picturesque Montville.
Took nothing and left nothing. Log not signed. Cache and log found to be in poor condition due to water damage. Log unsignable, so took a picture of the cache as proof of find..
Finding this cache has now given me a total find count of 1506.
Thanks for the cache hide ****Mzilikazi***** .

Caching today with geoferret8 and muggle grandaughter. We happened to park right next to GZ. There was a couple of muggles around so we headed off for some lunch and found the cache when we returned. Good hide thanks for the cache.

Out and about today doing a little work and this one popped up close by. I parked just up the hill and wandered down.
Once at GZ I checked several areas first before eventually finding the cache, nicely hidden away.
I signed the log and replaced cache exactly as I found it.

9:22:00 AM. We were out and about again today to check some of our caches and clean up a few of the ones that have sprung up since we left 20 months ago. The better halh found this cache exposed. The log was wet so we placed a new one and signed it. We rehid the cache. Thanks Mzilikazi for placing this cache.
GPS acting very funny today. Bouncing us all over the place, but eventually tracked down the cache. Did not sign log - soaking wet. TNLN. TFTC.
