Came to search for this one today. Checked all around, and no cache to be seen. We did see the colourful bottles mentioned by another though - they were pretty groovy.
This one could do with a check by the CO.

We seriously feel that this one is missing, we found the cache at the other side of town and from an image in the photo file it is the same style. We looked on the ground and in the plants thinking that it may have fallen. Confirmation from the cache owner would be good, we will watch this cache to see how it pans out
Full time nomads exploring SA, currently staying in Strathalbyn. Mr Felix decided to ride his bike along the Nurragi track today, whilst he did that Mrs F tackled a few drivebys nearby.

This was my last find to complete the Clayton Bay caches. What a beautiful place. I’ve enjoyed my week here and the fun of the geocaches in the area. TFTC
Mr Sandalwood Cottage thought he had downloaded all the caches to the Handheld but he had only listed one. So we resorted to using a mobile phone and although not actuate we were able to easily find this driveby. Now off to Sails Cafe for Lunch.
Did the tour of the town before stopping at GZ .
Quickly found . TNLNSL.
Now off for a coffee at the little cafe we passed earlier .
Thanks Postiegirl06.

Out for another learners drive with my son. We ended up at Point Sturt and Clayton Bay finding caches along the way. TFTC postiegirl06
It was such a lovely afternoon who could resist a pleasant drive...
jafaz62 & I, with geopet Chewie, came via Milang, alongside the lake which was a kind of a green-grey colour today until we got to Clayton Bay...it was lovely and blue...
Another lovely entrance to a delightful little town...except for the Mozzies

I had planned a day out with my mates Madham02 who are part time cachers and wanted to come out with me to find a few. A plan was hatched with our final destination being Clayton and Point Sturt, via Macclesfield, Woodchester, Strathalbyn for morning tea and Clayton for lunch. [^]
It was a beautiful day for caching, sun shining and warm with a nice breeze. We had a lovely drive, yummy lunch and found all the caches I had on my list.
A quick stop here and Madham02 spotted the cache while I was looking elsewhere.
Thanks for the cache.

I started 2020 with some improbable caching goals that only lasted until mid February.
With so few caches within 20 kms of home they are now to just complete the Calendar to have found both a mystery and a multicache on every day. Should be able to do one probably not both. [^]
Today I didn't need to find anything for my goals. But Sal and I have enjoyed going out for drives th e last few weekends and she wanted to go somewhere she hadn't been before. I had a DNF down at Point Sturt and there were several new caches around there since I last cleaned it out. [:o)]
Deja Vu Deja Vu. I am pretty sure I have found a cache here in a previous lifetime. And now I have found two here. Sorry to hear about your dad.
***Thanks opted-out user for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

found with mogni. Last time i passed this point i wasn't a cacher. quick find.
With weather forecast to be a nice warm day, jesswrigley and I decided to head down Goolwa for a few adventures. After completing parkrun in a new location and a nice breakfast, we decided to experience taking the jeep on the sand along the beach towards the Murray Mouth. It sure turned out to be busy, but pretty fun. We stopped off for a few geocaches along the way, before heading back, and then visiting Hindmarsh Island. I hadn't been here for 20 years, with coming to Narnu Farm back in my school days as part of a camp. We managed to clear that island of its current geocaches, and then the final part of the day was heading around to Clayton Bay and Point Sturt to see more of Lake Alexandrina and its picturesque settings.
It was my first time at Clayton Bay, and so it was a nice greeting at this sign. With good coordinates, it didn't take long to find the cache, at a very nice hiding place. There is no o-ring to this container, which is probably why historically the logbook has been getting wet. Name signed, and cache container restored back to its original setting, thanks postiegirl06 for the cache hide and ongoing maintenance.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
After our house sit in Willunga, we are on the road again, filling in time before we go to Kangaroo Island on 1 Nov. After leaving our van at Langhorne Creek, we drove to Milang and Clayton Bay for a few more caches.
We were not cachers last time we came through this area.
Quick find, just where it was supposed to be. We replaced the very wet and full log, so you can remove the Needs Maintenance attribute. Thanks postiegirl for the cache - and sharing your memories.

Found a few of the local caches before catching up with friends. Was in the last place we looked. The log book is full and too wet to sign probably. TFTC.
Escaped home for the long weekend and decided to spend it caching and kayaking around the fleurieu peninsula area. Was a good eventful weekend accompanied by -Beaker-, FerociousFlea and a roaring sun.

Found with Astronaut99 and Beaker on a long weekend camping, kayaking and geocaching adventure up the Coorong and all over the Fleurieu Peninsula. Highlights included seeing hundreds of Pelicans in the Coorong, Jellyfish in the crystal clear waters at Victor Harbour/Port Elliot, visiting a sea cave, and waking up in our swags on Australia Day to see the silhouette of kangaroos! Thanks
Found with FerociousFlea and Astronaut99 on our trip around the Fleurieu Peninsula for the Australia Day LWE. It was certainly a hot one!!
This was just one of 70 found during the weekend.
Nice little find on the way out of town. Clayton Bay sure is a delightful spot in Summertime!

Roped my sister and a friend into Geocaching while visiting a friend in Clayton Bay. So much fun! Found it such a funny hide! But didnt have a pen to log.
Good hide, very smart. Unfortunately stood on an ant colony. Annoying little critters. Tftc
Thanks!
Also thanks for the clue plus the idea of a match stick at the bottom of the log to help wind up it up again. I will use the idea my self.
Also, l thought of my departed Dad.

A fairly quick find on our way through the area today. Your Dad sounded like he was a great father to you, and you sure were lucky growing up in such a peaceful location. After leaving this cache we grabbed a coffee each from the takeaway/restaurant, and enjoyed some lunch at the boat ramp. We could see ourselves living in a place just like this one day.
Thanks postiegirl06.
Thanks postiegirl06.

Certainly, the first time we have found a cache hidden this way, deserving of a favourite from us. Found during an afternoon around the area where the original inhabitants were the Ngarrindjeri people.
Our thanks to postiegirl06 for bringing us here.

Caching with earthlight and The X-Trailers today and after just finishing a great walk/ride along the Nurragi Trail we decided to get a few of the other caches in this are of the list so we are of to Hindmarsh Island and grab the caches along the way, weather was perfect today, not to hot, not to cold, just perfect to cache : ) Nothing beats catching huge carp but does smoking them make them taste any better ? The wife was doing ToughMudder at Langhorne Creek so I went caching with Freddo.
We had a good morning with a long walk and a selecion of other caches.
Freddo could see it but I couldn't so he sowed me the error of my ways.

[center]8240. [green] So having been shown the way by winglen at the other end of the crescent I was confident that I could grab this one. Well I did but only after missing it on the first run through. Checked the other spot and then other places before checking the first place more carefully - yep it was there.
Thanks for the cache [blue]postiegirl06[/blue] and the subtlety.[/green][/center]

Start of a new day, having been around Murray Bridge the last couple of days, and now on our way to Victor Harbour with a diversion to Clayton.
Having found this one's twin, we thought this would be easy, but McPhan did his best to miss it [B)]

How peoples lives vary, my childhood was nothing like yours. I'd love to have grown up in a little town with dirt roads where everyone knew each other. Would have given the killing and skinning a miss though.
Sorry to hear about your father.
Sorry to hear about your father.
Its good to have memories like yours of your life with your Dad, I ( Mrs KC ) lost my Dad 2 weeks ago and as sad as I feel some days, there are times when I think of who I am and smile because I know my Dad was such a strong influence and shaped who I am today.
This is our 500th find and we wanted this one to be a landmark find to remember. Thanks PostieGirl06 for remembering and sharing a piece of your life.
Found the cache, signed it and placed it away safely. TFTC
