The Better Half and I decided to go caching in the hills area today. This was one of the caches we found. Cache was found without problems. The log was signed and the cache returned to where it was found.
Thanks GeoSqueaks for placing and maintaining this cache for other cachers to find.

Had an hour up my sleeve this evening and decided to grab a couple of caches close to home!
Definitely was not what I was looking for! Took a little while to track down this clever camo.

Cool tree! It's so funny sammiiej and I were saying it would be a good candidate for this kind of cache.... and there it was
This took me longer than it should have considering I have one the same. But I found it so that’s all that matters
After spending the morning searching for a missing person, which we successfully found, I decided to spend my afternoon by going out to Darlington for an afternoon walk around Boya Quarry. It had been a while since I was last out here, so it was good to revisit.
Cache was full of ants. But I managed to work my way around them to sign the log and return the cache. Cheers GeoSqueaks!

Out with Team Barritts on a huge days caching. Thanks to all the CO’s for placing and maintaining their hides for us to find. We visited some amazing places today.
Great place to rest after climbing around the area. Cache full of guardian ants so the CO should keep an eye on it as they will bury it overtime. TFTC Geosqueaks!
I've been meaning to come over and explore this area for ages... and today I finally had an opportunity Packed the geohound in the car and we spent 4 hours walking the trails - awesome. Naturally I picked up some caches while here, including this one Although a beautiful winter's day the cooling properties here weren't really needed, but still a nice spot to take a break. Cache was a very quick find too No problems here - TFTC
Haha thought we were looking for something else, but hey presto there it is. Lovely cooling tree (we stopped for a drink on this warm spring day). TFTC
Out & about exploring Boya Quarry, this cache was our last stop before following the trail back to the car... I was quick to spot this one, before letting the rest of the family find it! It took a few minutes as they were not looking at the correct level
TFTC Geosqueaks The cooling tree was amazing... We wondered what it was & were guessing that it is a cork tree? Must google it one day, cheers.

A beautiful sunny winters day, so themongrel and the geodog amber came along for the walk. throughly enjoyed ourselves and the geodog was exhausted by the end. ( I guess she is 10, so she is allowed to be) tftc and the gorgeous location.
Out and about with team_j_dawgs to claim a few smilies, we had a day filled with laughter and adventure, not to mention the magical views TFTC
Out for a day of caching around Darlington, Mundaring and the surrounding areas to cleanup the huge number of caches around these parts that have evaded us for a while.
A lot of bush caching today with some nice finds through John Forrest National Park, which I’ve always wanted to explore, but never got around to. The highlight of the walk apart from some great caches, informative signs along the trail, beautiful bridges, nice trails and great scenery was a walk through the Swan View Tunnel, which was absolutely awesome.
The other major walk of the day was around the Boya Quarry which is simply amazing for people that have never visited (I know many attended dark energy’s event out this way when his earth caches were still active in the quarry) beautiful views in particular from the top of the quarry and looking up the beautiful cliffs throughout the area.
We collected a bunch of other caches around the dam in JFNP, central Mundaring, and the Boya areas.
An amazing day out that finishes finding two old archived caches that have seen better days but would have been amazing to have seen in their heyday.
Thanks to all of the local COs for a great days caching, we had lots of fun. Thanks

Interesting area to walk, popular for horse riding. Out with B12 & C10 on a sunny winter's day, collecting 51 smiles and 4 frowns.
Thank you GeoSqueaks

Luckily spotted the camo straight away though I can't recall seeing one of this colour before. Unfortunately though, the log is MIA. TFTC GeoSqueaks.
Found with Crouchey. Sadly log book in micro is destroyed and is missing. Needs repair!
Today is the fourth day in Western Australia for Net88 and I. We headed across to Perth because neither of us has been before and spent six days showing ourselves around, guided by geocaches. And this is day two of three days we have a hire car so we can extend a bit farther afield, beyond public transport limitations.
We continue working through our short-list of geocaches; challenges, old hides, rare types and that sort've thing! This morning we saddle up and start by heading north from the city, but after lunch we head south to the western suburbs of Perth and wind up with an eventual fourteen finds for the day.
Boya Quarry was high on our priority list. Three earthcaches here got our attention, especially when one of them ticks a D/T box for me. Despite the heat, I ran around the quarry three times collecting information for the [one](https://coord.info/GC45MQP), [two](https://coord.info/GC42K2P), [three](https://coord.info/GC3GFYX) earthcaches. I got all the answers and met an actual fox. However, they were soon not just archived but locked and thus, three hard-earned smilies are gone forever.
Not all is lost, for there was this traditional, and honestly, it was more memorable anyway! Not just was it conveniently co-located, but unfound for over half a year! We do like an unloved geocache. We parked just off Victor Road, despite the steepness and headed through the gate and along the dirt road. Uphill was not pleasant as it was super hot, windless and little shade. But, this is not abnormal for us at all!
As we walked, a group of horse riders passed us in the opposite direction. We stood off the road and gave them full space to pass. I managed to snap some sneaky photos as they departed! Now, onwards to GZ. The Cooling Tree was aptly named.
Under the wide, green branches was definitely respite from the sun and we knew this was a good spot for a quick drink. Thirsty and just a few minutes from the car! Onto the geocache and it was a quick find for us. That classic geocache that nobody will see, but a geocacher knows when they're looking at it!
Even though it was unloved, it was all in great condition. We signed the log, then replaced as found. We'd return to this tree while running around for those earthcaches. But after that it was back to the car and its sweet air conditioning. Thanks for this geocache and a visit to Boya Quarry, GeoSqueaks

headed to the quarry for the earth cache souvenir. we were in the right direction but on the wrong track, after jumping across to the right track we found gz easily. what a gorgeous tree. we absolutely loved the cache we found after muggle hubby had a climb. also collected up some rubbish we found under the tree. geodog has loved the walks this morning! tftc geosqueaks
Out and about with ask277 we spotted GZ from a distance! After a look in all the obvious places it was Geo H that came up with the goods! What a clever piece of camo! TFTC
While at a local event today, I decided to team up with Robroy_co and find some of the caches around this area. This was our first find and quite a tricky little hide it was. A very clever camo and we were lucky to find this one as quickly as we did. One down and on to the next one. Thanks GeoSqueaks. I like your style.
TFTC! Geokid spotted this in seconds - amazing! I would be still be looking for hours. Great location. Does anyone know what tree this is?
Trickiest find of the morning so far. Eventually founded a few metres from my GZ. TFTC.
I decided to head out to grab a few caches in the Boya quarries...I had a good look around before moving on...TFTH
Took the dogs for a nice long walk around this area today in the company of a muggle mate. She held the GPS which meant we walked a bit more than we should have. She found this cute little cache all by herself.
Any idea what kind of tree this is? We loved the bark, very unusual.

It had been a while since I last went geocaching so it was a great surprise to see a new group of caches around this area courtesy of GeoSqueaks. Spent a very pleasant afternoon exploring Boya Quarry and locating these five caches. Thanks very much Geosqueaks and Beau!! This one nearly had the better of me. In fact I had given up and entered "Did Not Find" in my GPS when I thought I'd just have one more look before leaving and then - AHAA - there it was - that wonderful geocaching moment when all becomes clear and for one brief moment the whole universe suddenly makes sense and you wonder - how could I not have seen that!
Found this very quickly but wasn't 100% sure even when I touched it!!? Great hide!! Thanks GeoSqueaks!
Second time here and got more time to look. Brought some extra eyes to help but once they seen the awesome climbing tree, all thoughts of looking for a cache were a distant memory. We had a ball playing here but still no luck find this cache.
Next time we'll return with reinforcements.... And try not to be distracted by the tree.
Great hide Geosqueaks. We will conquer 'The Cooling Tree'.

Wow this one had KB , Kyzabra and myself searching for awhile but manage to find it and say goodbye to KB our Boot camp instructor and to struggle on back to collect our things from the quarry and continue to the rest.......

At the completion of the EC-Boya Quarry Events is went off on search of the newly released GeoSqueaks caches. What type of tree is this.
Thanks GeoSqueaks for the cache.
Thanks GeoSqueaks for the cache.
Found this newbie cache just after release at the EC-event boya quarry. After several of the keen cachers took off up to the top of the quarry in search of the newly released caches, this cache was released a little closer to my comfy chair. Up we got (mudbuzzie and I) and went in search of a possible *FTF*. We came across jinta29 in our travels and after considering tripping him we decided to play nice and raced to the spot. This is a slightly trickly little cache and it took all of us to find it so we claimed a joint *FTF* between the three of us. Lucky we didn't trip him after all =D
Found soon after the nearby EC event. Was joint *FTF* with kellydrinkstea and mudbuzzie. A very cool container here and a well deserved favourite from us. TFTC Geosqueaks
Found after attending the EC-EVENT BOYA QUARRY and cached with Happyjacks55 to find what we could of this new series. Need to give a favourite after such a good and informative day. This sneaky little hide gets it. TFTC.
Out smarted!
With a clever hide, night just minutes away, and phone warning me of 20% battery; it was time to find our way back to 'View Finder', where the car was parked.
Our way back took us past 'Benchtop' (tempted to stop and look but no time to spare.) and through some tuff scrub, to find our path home.
Really enjoyed the bush hike and will return soon, to find your other caches.
Thanks heaps Geosqueaks.

Having learnt everything we could about the geology of Boya Quarry, Mickey DV, KB, Ooh-Yeh and I headed out for some of the newly published caches.
The phones were pinging and we were off !!!
We got to GZ and found our prize,
