OMG Such an exciting cache. The cliff was damp and took me and my family a while to find it. So worth it.TFTC
Wow what a rush of adrenaline my mum thought no immediately but I climbed up anyway after some hesitation she followed the first part of the climb was easy and exhilarating. The second part was harder and once we made it up my mum got a bit scared but we found the cache and made it down. TFTC find 347 thanks jammalees for this cool cache and amazing location

6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot. Today, we take the great road sea to go to Mount Gambier. We halt to se this spotThanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots
We walk around Aireys Inlet regularly, love the rugged coast, the cliff top walk, lighthouse and in particular this stretch of beach. Today we finally had the right conditions in favour of trying to make the ascent to this cache: low tide, dry land and air, not too windy. Both of us made it up there, and safely down. We are chuffed to have a smilie on this cache, in a region where we own a few awesome adopted caches!A FP is a must here for us, it has a T-rating that we don't attempt too often, and it is located in a bit of an emotional home.
Got to the top of the area, but considered it too dangerous to venture out where the `DZ was. I'd advise caution, as these areas are prone to collapse: David and Dave
This week I'm staying down at Anglesea with some friends to celebrate the end of the year and have been fortunate to grab a couple of caches in a very pretty area that I haven't visited since the mega in 2016!Chauffeuring a member of millsy031 (who's rather complaisant regarding impromptu caching expeditions) around the place has granted me a few more opportunities to diverge slightly from the group's intended route than would otherwise be anticipated in such circumstances, which often gained the curiosity of the two folks in the other car and resulted in a couple of adventures with all four of us!Today we kicked things off at the chocolaterie where an alarming amount of money left my bank account (but another ice-cream AL location was ticked off which balances it out), then visited Split Point Lighthouse before heading down to Lorne for some further shopping and a quick swim, after which we all headed to the Mermaid's Pool for a scenic conclusion to the day.Leaving the others to splash about at the mermaid's pool, I took a wander along this stretch of beach up to this traditional cache. At low tide, this is a real beauty - and I had the whole place to myself! There were thunderstorms predicted for today, although they managed to miss the area for the most part outside of a patch of heavy rain earlier in the day. Now, usually, this would be no cause for concern... unless you intend to clamber up a hill consisting of clay...I actually circled around gz in the hopes that it would be around the other side somewhere but, nope, up there...It probably won't go down as one of my wiser decisions to attempt this in slippery conditions, but I'm up for an adventure and picked a path that seemed marginally less steep than the other offerings, watching my footing very closely as I did so.Stunningly, I was soon up at the ridge and was again very very careful to maneuver over to the cache which was thankfully found rather quickly - I do wonder how much this ridge has eroded over the last nine years of this cache's lifespan thus far!Still, the landscape here is spectacular, and some photos were taken as a result before a hesitant descent commenced where I gave up on any hope of making it down with clean hands or shoes (which were so thoroughly caked that it felt like I was walking with bricks strapped to my feet afterwards!)Although I did manage to make it up and down with a find and without a mark on my white t-shirt (or an injury... that's good too), so I'll mark this one down as an overall success deserving of a favourite point for an even more challenging expedition than usual in a very unique location!Luckily for me, the local rockpools did help with the subsequent cleaning job too! Thanks to Jammalees for placing this one here!

I was on my way to Lorne on a nice balmy day.
Thought why not take a walk down to gz.
The tide was low and it was good to be on the beach.
At GZ I soon was clambering round with some nice backgroubnd views.

Well, a trip down the coast for the day yesterday was an overnight camp. Having a geomobile set-up as a camper is excellent, as snap decisions like that can be easily made.
We left the geodogs Gypsy Girl, Teeny Treek and Mini Michi in the geomobile after we had given them a great run around. Then we ventured out to find this cache.
This cache is a classic case of, well, we wouldn't have come here unless there was a cache, and we are glad we did—a great part of the coastline.
We made a reasonably quick find, and the cache is in excellent condition.
Thank you for this Traditional cache, Jammalees—a Favourite Point from us for bringing us to such a scenic spot.

A very fun spot to get to, not as hard as I thought. Magnificent spot earning it a favourite! Just a steep hill to tackle and hoping not to fall off the cliff. TFTC Jammalees!
What an adrenaline rush! Thanks to Ms Fluffyninjapants who pointed me in the right direction. I didn’t have to scramble around too much. Awesome spot.
Mr Fluffy Ninja nonchalantly found this one while Mrs Fluffy Pants was climbing and slipping all over the wrong hill! Children watching from below with mild sense of peril. But all good fun. We love this place . TFTC

Down at Aireys Inlet for the weekend with the misses and a group of family friends, all muggles but I still managed to sneak out for some private geocaching time.
Up bright and early to catch the tide on my birthday and what a wonderful start to the day
Cache container and log are in good condition.
**Thanks for placing this cache Jammalees**

That was a tough find came at it from the wrong side , climbed over the cave and came up the easier side. What a view ! Thanks for a fun find and a cool spot
Finally made an attempt at this one, has been on the radar but never attempted it when we are down this way. Although the tide was far from low or calm, it just added to the adventure. Love the wildness of this little bit of coast line. TFTC
What a spontaneous find! Came down with new friend, admitted to being a geocacher, showed him the app and bam a perfect little adventure! ️TFTC for a geovirgin! Haha

Out and about on the surf coast in the company of Alansee. While we are in interesting times with restrictions, regarding movement and travel, due to the corona virus, the tide was where we wanted it to be today. Who needs to travel afar with this landscape so accessible and close to home - just MAGIC!
A FP for location.
Our thanks to 'Jammalees' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Found with Phetlern. An enjoyable walk along the cast at low tide. There were several other people around at this time including several dog walkers. We managed to go up the easy way and saw the hard way from the top. Cache was an easy find, thanks Jamalees. And yes, it looked like the badlands!
Wow , thank god am a local as this helped know where to go and especially when. I didn’t go up the cliff but sent 3 kids up and they found it ! Easter Monday time of the corona virus. Great way to get family out and about. Best clue which will help some safety is do not access from Sunnymeades side of cliff!
Out and about today with Dist0pia enjoying the Great Ocean Road and The Otways on our RDO. With some research we knew what time to hit the cache but still had some water to deal with as it was a high low tide, so some manoeuvring along the cliff edge and timing the waves we kept dry feet. An awesome experience as we enjoyed the geology of the formations.
Thanks Jammalees for highlighting our magnificent coast land.

With some nice weather today, we decided to hit the coast for a few caches. Na'wal and myself had had on eye on this one for a while. What an awesome spot for a hide. A bit tricky to get to, but well worth the effort. TFTC Jammalees
With such a nice looking day weather wise, the little Na'wals and I decided to go out on an adventure down the coast and then through Bambra. DAB was interested too and wanted to get out of the house so we picked him up on the way and took off down the coast. It was a bit cool with the wind but it was a great day out exploring.
The geo wheels were parked in the Sunnymede car park and we took off with the low tide a little before we were here but still within time to grab this cache. The walk along the edge was slippery but we had soon made to the sea bridge. We started to go up the wrong side and the kids and DAB laughed as I slipped down. Even though high tide was still hours away, the water was rushing in here. We took another route and soon closed in to the cache while the kids watched from just below. The GPSr wanted us another 13 meters away but with the clue details matching the spot, we searched and DAB soon found the cache. Nice spot but i wouldn't want to be caught out here.

Walked on the beautiful cliff walk towards this cache, only checking tide times on arrival to beach. High tide-11.47, time on our watches- 11.47! Walked as far as we could but unless you were a dolphin or a platypus not possible. Better planning needed next time!
Turned a blue face into a smiley one today, after previously attempting it on the wrong tide. What a terrific location, just beautiful. For future cachers, I'd recommend heading up to GZ from the ocean side of the escarpment, not the inland side...it's much safer.
A fellow cacher strongly recommended I do this one when he heard I was in Aireys inlet. I was working on a multi and he told me to drop what I was doing and get to this one before I ran out of light. I took the hint and sprinted to GZ. Fortunately was wearing hiking shoes. A quick scramble and cache was in hand. Awesome sandstone rocks out here. Got the cache just in time. It got dark quick and made my way back to the car in blackness! Tftc
Stopped in and visited two trackables, and dropped off two more. Cache looks in excellent condition - thanks for looking after it!
Out beachcombing with OutRangerous and happy to also find a cache to do. As OutRangerous mentioned, managed to safely do the cache, enjoyed the views from the top and then fell over on an easy bit. TFTC
went for a beachcomb along here and of course had to do the nearby cache. was caching with chakram and all went well until after we left the cache when she nearly broke her ankle. slippery rocks. just beat the incoming tide on the return. TFTC
Silly me ... you know how sometimes people see/read what they want to see/read, instead of what's really there? I read the clear instruction of Only attempt at LOW TIDE as "don't attempt at high tide" which meant the cache was not reachable from Sunnymeade... I'll be back, after checking the tide charts!
I'd been for walks around these parts several times, so it was fun to find out that there was a geocache hidden in this beautiful spot. Found on boxing day with N., L., and J. Happy holidays, and tftc!
Found a took a trackable.

Quite a scramble - not sure if barefoot was a great idea!
A beautiful spot - well worth a look even if you decide not to make the final ascent

Today I was out for a caching trip down the coast with Neville_devil and Ausfox;.
We had just completed the Nearby Earth Cache Unzymotic Urquhart and returned to the car and were planning the next cache to target for the day. It was then we realized that we shouldn't have returned to the car at all . Oh well we hadn't put on any sunscreen for the day yet so we all slopped on the sunscreen and back along the beach we went.
As we approached the right area we could see quite a change in the look of the landscape. It was quite spectacular really. After a scramble up to the top I was stunned just how quick the the ground dropped of on the other side.
After a quick the cache was located and our names added to the log. A definite favourite for me just the the location. It is really an amazing place to visit.
Thank you jammalees for a magnificent cache

It was really hot today, so we decided to take this walk along the coastline from Urquart Bluff and splash through the puddles. We were quite near already when it decided to pour down and we had to flee under the sea bridge. Thankfully it was over quickly and we could find the cache. Thanks for this adventure!
We were visiting the surf coast for the Mega, and during that time jacko83 had mentioned that this was a pretty cool cache location and was one worth doing.
It was the perfect time of day to walk along the rugged coastline.
I had met up with sir spectre a few caches back and told him about it and asked if he wanted to join me on my quest to sign the log for this one.
As he mentioned we walked passed gz and had to come back around, with a few cool pics.
little Ruiverbug and Morgatron13 weren't up for the walk and played on the beach at Urquharts Bluff instead, enjoying the sun and the sand.
Thanks jammalees.

teamed up with a Victorian team along the great ocean road and this was mentioned as one of there target caches. We made the walk down here since the tides where right and walked a touch to far ( but did get some nice photos for it ) and then rechecked the gps and went to where to co ords said the cache was. Quick find and then going two different directions.
Found It!
I walked in from the south-west and it rained for most of the way. A quick find after climbing up the slope to GZ. Not a bad view despite the wind and the rain!

Having seen another cacher at the earth cache he said it looked like the beach route was not passable and we said there looked like a track from above which we had spotted on the sat map which we said we would try after the earth cache but then it started to rain so we reordered which caches to do next because lots of rain on clay cliffs did not sound a good mix. In the end the rain did not last too long so after some other caches we headed back to the trail we spotted and off we went. The track is a bit over grown in a few spots but easy enough to follow to GZ where some careful bits of balancing followed on some damp clay ridges in the wind. A quick find at GZ and the signing duties complete. TFTC.
Stopped in to visit some TBs... however even from the Runnymede side this cache is inaccessible at hight tide... got to within 30m of it before being cut off by the water. Note to others - DO NOT ATTEMPT AT HIGH TIDE!
Suscoe was out and about along the surf coast enjoying a delightful morning with a falling tide and beaut sunshine we thought that we would wander along the beach and find this little chap.
Quite a few surfers still enjoying some great early morning waves as the tide fell.
A lovely walk from the south west and with a few sets of foot prints on the sand, Suscoe enjoyed the walk to GZ and the adventure of finding this cache.
That formation is interesting and we had a good look at the little tunnel.
Thanks to jammalees for this hide, all is in good order in the container.

Out with the dog for an early morning walk and remembered this cache was nearby. Short scramble and cache found. If anyone needs it, there's a MyKi in there! TNLN TFTC
A bright sunny day, driving along the Great Ocean Road, provided a great opportunity for some sightseeing and caching.
After visiting an earthcache nearby during low tide I got to Urquhart's Bluff car park when the tide was already coming in, so there was some time pressure. I took a run along the beach and soon got to GZ. Or close to GZ anyway, as I still had to get up from the beach at sea level. First I took the hard route to the highest part visible in the area, and found myself with an 'unclimbable mini-cliff' still 20m from GZ [B)]. With recent rains and the clay on the slopes access to the summit I initially targetted was proving quite difficult.
Defeated I made my way back down to sea level, and walked further south-west to where I found a more reasonable route to another likely GZ the GPSr was pointing to (it turned out to be the correct GZ). And with a bit of momentum to overcome the wet soil I made my way up ... up ... just one more quick step to the top.... and woaaahhhh... stopped just in time before going over the cliff! Perhaps I should have taken slower gentle steps, as the cache notes are quite clear about the nature of the terrain here .
Got my hands on the cache quite easily, signed, and easily made my way back down. Now to beat the tide and make it back to the car...
I turned this into a much bigger adrenaline rush than it should have been - firstly by going to a mistaken GZ area that I couldn't easily reach, and then almost overshooting the actual GZ which could have resulted in an unhappy ending . After that excitement, I forgot to look for the nearby sea cave, but I'll be returning for sure.
Thanks, Jammalees - a FP from me as this is the type of caching that I enjoy the most .

I was working today at Urquart's Bluff, and arrived 30 mins early. The tide was out - I took the chance and ran. Big tip - it's more than 30 mins round trip. Had to abort, and try again after work. Of course, by that time, the tide was on its way in, and the return trip was in peril. Luckily, I came with an alternate return method - I walked down with a surf lifesaving rescue board, and I paddled back.
Fellow seekers - heed the warnings. Check tide times and look after yourselves!
Jammalees - your cache has brought a wonderful piece of the coast to the attention of many. Well done!

It was a tough geocache because it was high tide. #tips: don't go on high tide, don't go through the valley go around the tunnel and up the cliff. But once you were up the cliff the geocache was easy to find. Had fun and got drenched! Great geocache
What a great cache. Thank you so much for bringing me here. It's what caching is all about. If it's dry and the Low Tide it really isn't too difficult if you don't mind a little bit of a slippery climb. Quite an attractive view as well. Tftc
Walked in from Sunnymede side. It is a beautiful place but pay attention to the terrain rating. The little kids stayed down low. We found the GZ but the cache was well hidden and took us a while to find. Excellent cache thanks!
Just checking on my own cache and visiting some TBs. I note the original logbook is missing; thanks to whoever supplied a sheet of paper as a replacement. I'll organise a new one when I'm next there. Other than that it's in good nick. Love this spot for a walk with the geokids...
Not a good cache to do on the way to a party. Fake fingernails and strappy sandals necessitating bare feet were not ideal. But then when you are hooked on caching there is no better way to have fun on a long drive TFTC
On our way along the Great Ocean Road we stopped at this interesting spot. If you take some time to look at the different rock layers, you wonder why they've become the way they are. Now I know
Great spot . Watch that edge !

A bit to hung over and vertigo got the best of me, All I could envision was to little geokids trying to call Dad an ambulance, I know, weak as right. I'll be back for this one. But we had a great walk and loved the landscaping here.
We may have approached this one from the wrong direction. Thankfully Hawkie507 was on the case and we soon the cache in hand.
a bit of a difficult one to get to, thought we were on the path to take us to the right place and ended up having to climb up and down some pretty steep hills, so I sent the boyfriend off to sign this one while I waited nearby
Very tricky cache to get too
Cliffs, trees and spiky shrubs to list a few
No log in cache, had to sign the back of an old buisness card

Thanks very much for showing me this piece of the coast .

A MDC simply means that you must do this guy as it is what caching is all about.
Down the coast for some maintenance work and also to remove the red cross off Old bark Hut after a few could not locate the container which was still there!!!!!!
On a cool windy summers day I ventured along the fairly deserted beach at low tide to this marvellous area that I have never been to before. Mother nature sure has been at work here with a fantastic bridge over the entrance to a gully /canyon behind the cliffs.
Silly old Bushfire decided that this was the way to claim the cache but half way up the very steep crumbly cliff face a retreat was decided so then the precarious descent.
After being defeated here a new way was decided on and success this time, with great views from the top.
Thanks to jammalees for finding this location and sharing it with us cachers. A F.P. from the ageing Bushfire.

I WILL be recommending this one to fellow cachers. N' I would be happy to return.
This was the 1st discovery of the day.
Just wow.
I parked the Geo-vehicle under some shade at Urquhart's Bluff car park and made my way to GZ that way.
I very much enjoyed the stroll along the beach, only saw one other person with her muggle pup, we exchanged pleasantries and went our separate ways.
I hopped, skipped, jumped and even danced my way to this cache. I spread out my arms, looked up to the sky and span around, happy as a pig in dirt.
It was my 4th day off in a row, I hadn't even had 2 days off in a row for quite a while so I was very relaxed and the sun was shining, life seemed perfect.
After taking in all the sights and snapping many a photo, I scrambled up to make a find.
I had a good look at and around at the windy ground zero to no avail, so I decided to PAF, but before he could even reply, the container revealed itself, aha... cancel that, got it =D
Just an amazing locachetion. Simply beautiful.
Took- Keyring.

Took some more pictures and headed back to the blue Kia. Tide was in a little more on the journey back, I didn't pay attention to that to be honest, but I made it, alive, safe, dry.
Not a bad unplanned walk at all.
Aces. Fav point added.
Cheers & T.F.T.C =]
Safe travels and hoppy caching!

Heard the word from Juccacher this was a brilliant cache - so on a sunny Sunday headed down with Timmo98 and Alchey.
Took the much harder route to get here - lots of slipping and sliding!
Walk along the steep edge, where the find was made. a great cache that gets a favourite point from me. Beautiful views, nice walk along the beach and a challenge.
Thanks for bringing me here. I will be recommending it to others!!

Out with Jacko83 and Timmo98 to enjoy the southern coast. It always makes the day interesting when you take the hard way, with a lot of slipping and sliding we made it up.
A quick find at GZ when we eventually made it.
Thanks for the Cache Jammalees

Very awesome place! Was fun dodging the incoming water to get across to the rock to climb. Certainly felt like Arizona. Tftc
#739, found on a lovely sunny afternoon with a slightly chilly onshore.
Last week while visiting some TB's down the road at the Gateway, I noticed this one on the Nuvi, but didn't have the time to stop. After reading the cache notes and seeing no-one had visited for a month, I decided I needed to head down and make the find. As it happened, today was the day.
After checking the tide times and since it was about 4pm, with low at 6pm, I headed down and parked at Urqharts Bluff knowing I had plenty of time. The fact it was late on Sunday afternoon and the stiff chilly onshore meant that the carpark was almost empty an those there were walking the other way.
I really enjoyed the walk down a completely deserted beach towards GZ, marvelling at the cliffs and rock pools. When I got close, I stopped and put on the shoes I had bought just in case. I tried an approach that left me completely in the wrong place, but with a great view (and glad of he shoes). I soon spotted an easier route and retreating closer to sea level, I made the climb. A short search later, the well-hidden container was found, with just one name in the log. Now there are two.
Container replaced, photos taken and another walk back along a very picturesque and still deserted beach.
Thanks for this great cache Jammalees and I'd love to give it 3 favourites...one for the walk in, one for the cache itself and one for the walk out, but I can only give it one

i didn't see the notification for this one till this morning and was surprised to see no logs. I had to go to Anglesea just after lunch so I thought FTF will be claimed by then, but nothing - the usual FTFers must be on holidays and far far away. I set off from Urquharts Bluff car park and headed towards the GZ. When I say I'm not big fan of heights it is an understatement and hence I had 3 challenges before me: secure my first FTF, climb up to the GZ and beat the tide on the way back.
The climb to GZ wasn't too bad, but once at the top and looking the other way.... Did I mention I don't like heights? But I was rewarded with brand spanking new log book and for the very first time was able to be the first one to put my name down. After successfully and without any injuries getting down to sea level I had to hurry to beat the tide which I managed just in time.
My excitement was not shared on my return to Anglesea as the not so geo-wife simply poited me towards the paint brush and tin of paint and reminded me I just wasted an hour playing treasure hunt.
I really enjoyed this one, thank you Jammalees for bringing me back here to enjoy the scenery.
