17/04/14. 6:00 PM. Cache #1465. With the long weekend coming up, it's great to be able to knock off work a little early and wind down with a good event. Caught up with JordsAU for drink & a chat nearby beforehand and in no time at all it was 6:00 and time to head over. carkla was already there, along with brownie52 and the Bluewattles. Pretty soon our numbers had swollen to a dozen or so and there were TB swaps, lots of good geochats and of course the kebabs. And then it was 7:00 and time for me to go. All in all, a great evening. Danke für das Event! }:)

that was a nice meeting and loveley , CARKLA, that you have introduced this german tradition in ausrtralia
i must say, i love your way of caching and its really impressive to hear how many countries you are jumping on your tour!
safe journey back.
great to see familiar faces and new ones , to have a face to their geocache-name.
thanks for the event, carkla
PS: you can claim an FTF , when you signed the logbook first? is that true? i gotta lots to learn...

Thanks carkla for the caching event! It was my first one! Good times! Its nice put names to faces or faces to names or ... anyway ... ! Nice to meet some new people and learn a bit more about caching. Hope to bump into you all again soon!
Thanks carkla for organising. Good to see some familiar faces as well as meet some new ones hope our muggle friends turned geocachers have enjoyed it too!
Actually I was quite surprised that there were quite a number of cachers attending this good old German tradition-event. Since most of you only wrote something like "maybe", "try to" and so on. In the end it was a very nice bunch of people and we had good chats and at least acceptable food
It truned out that the location was okay and I hope that you may continue this tradition next year...
After some 90 minutes of chatting and eating I joined a group of local cachers for some after-event-caching and was even able to eliminate some of the DNFs of these days
Thank you all for attending this event, it was very nice to get to know some of the locals here. My bag was quite heavy because of all the TBs and coins that want to travel overseas - I will give my best for the China one! THANK YOU!!!

Although I was late in arriving, I still had time for a good kebab and a chat with some previous aquaintances and to make some new ones. Thanks Carkla for organising and I hope to continue the tradition.
Haven't been to Darling Harbour in a while Was nice coming at night to see all the lights. Had a great chat with Carkla and other attending cachers, and passed on one of my travelbugs to begin its journey overseas. TFTEC!
After missing the other city event not long ago, I will try to visit this one!
I think I might actually be attending this - this would be my first event cache too!
I might be able to make this. (I definitely can't get to Oz Mega but will see if I can get along to this).
I wish I could attend. I will be at the Oz Mega event on that day!
Hope you guys have fun!
