Just a note for everyone...
If you can see the geocache but don't sign the log because you can't reach it....Then you can't log a "found it" log ....Hence the difficulty rating

11-Apr-17
Had visited this spot last year, was then able to see the container from the ground however not game to climb on my own. Today with geo-buddy & equipped with ladder, on a beautiful day, however could not locate cache. CO please check?

11-Apr-17
Hiddo laz and i searched all the possible hiding spots with no luck. A previous finder state they hug it on a twig. Surely if this was the case and the location it is quite possible that it has blown off and been gobbled up by mowers or muggles.

08-Apr-17
DNF! But we'll be back....with better 's !!!

25-Mar-17
We found it like a monkey !!

16-Feb-17
no luck here

12-Feb-17
In the area after attending Megawat60's Birthday celebrations, this was one of the caches we found for the afternoon... After a few minutes of searching from below, Jase & DangerMouse09 decided to get on up & have a look from higher up... Soon after the well hidden cache was spotted & after a little more climbing our names were added to the log Cool

TFTC Hiddo [^] The cable tie was very brittle & broke when retrieving the container. The container has been put back in the same spot hanging from a twig. All is good with this one!

Goodness me, goodness me. Hiddo, I found your cache Tied Tight (formally high Flying Fish) up in the tree dry and healthy Smile. Now, I’m up here, how to get down [B)]?! Suggestion to next geocacher. Please bring a trail marker tape and mark your way up. Otherwise, if you have a cat climbing gene (like me), you wouldn’t know how to get down! If everything else fails make sure you bring your smart phone with you to call 000 for RAC Rescue Helicopter for life threatening emergencies [xx(]. SL TFTH.

25-Jan-17
Found it, but cable tied to tree so couldn't retrieve to write in log. Thanks!!

16-Jan-17
Good cache but we couldn't reach it. 91 finds

29-Dec-16
Went up and down the tree 3 or 4 times. Got up about 20 feet from the ground at one stage. Looked in the every crook and cranny. Then we took a second on the ground to take a breath and I saw it poking out from under some long leaves on the ground not too far from the tree. Doh!

Anyways we signed the log and then improvised by tying it to a branch up top again. Not sure it is in exactly the same place but it should stay there as we put it in place with a zip tie. It's very hard to see from the ground now if you don't know where it is. We struggled to find it again lol but it's there.

Thanks for the fun and games Hiddo. As always, a nice hide. TFTC.

29-Dec-16
Found with Snitchbolt, took us a long while and then ended up finding it on the ground. Anyways replaced it high in the tree with a zip tie and it's all good to go again.

22-Oct-16
It was a tad out of place but we returned it to its natural habitat, fun climbing the tree though

Easy to find and the climb was not difficult. TFTC

Enjoying a lovely holiday in Perth with tmann421. Slowly making our way North and enjoying the sights.
Another good hide here and tmann made the climb. TFTC

25-Aug-16
Found it had to take a quick photo no time to write in the log gardener s every where

20-Aug-16
A little challenge but quick find to claim a souvenir for International Geocahing Day. We tried to find this once before in another place but had no luck so very happy to get it this time. TFTC.

I was in the area today, and so I decided that I would try tackle this cache. I was attracted to this geocache due to the number of fav points and the fact that it would fill in a spot on my fizzy grid. I tried spotting the cache from the ground, but with no success, I decided to climb up to the spot that would give me the best vantage point over the whole tree. Once there, I managed to spot the cache. I unclipped it and headed back to the ground, where I signed it and then climbed back up to replace.
Hiddo, I found your cache ‘Tied Tight (formally high Flying Fish)’ today. It was the second find of four finds with zero DNF’s and brings my total count to 605. The cache was found in a good condition so I signed the log book and replaced it as I found it. Thanks for the hide.

24-Jun-16
Most fun cache I've had in a while! Don't make the same mistake we did and try looking for an actual plastic Pterodactyl! TFTC

30-May-16
Easily spotted from the ground - and an easier climb than expected which was good. Helps when your 6ft 6. Thank you

29-Jan-16
Took a bit of climbing and searching, very sneaky hide! Glad to find it in the end. TFTC!

29-Jan-16
On 2nd attempt, spotted from ground.

28-Jan-16
Quick climb for the geokids after a swim at City Beach. Signed ABET. tftc

11-Jan-16
Out for a quick drive north of the river and doing some caches along the way.

Found the cache without problems after negotiating the tree.

Log signed and cache returned as found.

Thanks Hiddo for the cache.

08-Jan-16
This morning, after my swim at City Beach, I decided to attempt this climb. Previously the climbing had been put off out of fear of injury (I have been known to twist an ankle falling out of a tree!). But today the risk was acceptable and I took on the challenge. I also know mrs and a daughter have attempted this one before without success.

On arriving at the tree I was pleased to note that it's actually a very easy tree to climb. I knew I had to ascend a fair bit before attempting a find and so went up as far as I was comfortable. At that point it was an easy find with only a little concern of dropping the cache and/or log. Fortunately I did neither.

Thanks for the early morning excursion!

01-Jan-16
Sent the geo-fiance up the tree while I supervised from the ground. TFTC! Smile

Great hide again by Hiddo

29-Nov-15
I walked over to this one from Plan B, City Beach, and read the description as I approached. Mmmm tree climb, okay. The cops had set up a booze bus on both sides of West Coast Highway right opposite the cache, so I hoped they would be too busy with cars to watch me.

Anyway, I rounded the base of the tree 4-5 times trying to find the cache, and couldn't see it, so I eventually I just climbed up hoping to spot it somewhere. Higher and higher, and eventually I saw it, safely tucked away.

I was worried I wasn't going to be able to get the log out for a while, but after a bit of tapping it safely fell into my hand. I rolled it up tighter after signing it and tucked it into the lid, like a nano so it should be easier to get the log sheet out now.

Thanks for the cache Hiddo!

An easy climb for a 9 year old.

After a lovely afternoon at nearby City Beach, I took advantage of the geokids' presence to grab this one. We suffered the same fate as olthomas and dropped the logbook into the leaf litter below. But all good, didn't take too long to find and replace. TFTC Smile

21-Nov-15
Very cool cache.

19-Nov-15
Mr. O. vs The Tree...think we'll call it a draw. Quick spot from the ground, took off the cycling shoes and scampered up barefoot no problems. Open cache, log stuck, give it a shake, wind takes log and blows it who knows where. Oh. Back down the tree for a look around, no sign, back halfway up to look at all the branches, no sign there - plenty of leaves on the ground though so scribble name and take it back up to the cache with a plan to replace with a proper log next time I am passing. Back down, about to put shoes back on, spot original log. Back up tree for a 3rd time then! Bare feet were starting to complain a bit. TL-DR: found it, all good. TFTC!

Have had this one in place for 4 weeks seeing if it would be muffled and it's still there.
U still need to climb a tree but it's a lot easier ... It's at least 12 ft straight up to the bison tube

18-May-15
will check tonight

13-May-15
If I could have seen it I might have tried for it but the previous logs put me off.

Is the cache still at GZ.

10-May-15
Only found two pieces of strings , i think someone took it

15-Apr-15
Climbed all the trees but no luck

04-Apr-15
I needed a cache to make my 100 day streak. After previously DNFing in saw the cache had been replaced. Headed out expecting the oval to be filled with sporting types but it was completely empty.
Head over and up a tree filled with white cockies. Wrong tree. Up the next cockie filled tree and I spotted the bison quickly. TFTC and exercise.

30-Mar-15
Finally returned to grab this one. Arrived at the new GZ and tried the most obvious tree based on my readings. Found nothing, so up the next nearby tree ... again nothing, although I finally spotted the cache, in the first tree I climbed!
Back up that tree for a quick find. TFTC

Coordinates changed from:
S 31° 56.281 E 115° 45.518

Coordinates changed to:
S 31° 56.286 E 115° 45.495

Distance from original: 122.4 feet or 37.3 meters.
Cache is still tied tightly but I have moved it to a tree that is not likely to be climbed as frequently as the previous host.
Cache is a bison secured via cable tie and it is directly overhead...approx 4-5 meters straight up

18-Mar-15
Arrived at GZ in the dark and started in the wrong tree. After getting the torch out I realised my error as I spotted something in the next tree.
I climbed up with care only to find a spring, two chains, a carabiner and nothing else. No place for a log and looking at previous pics I think the cache is gone again.

07-Mar-15
Returned to brave the heights again. Signed the log. Found some sort of weird trackable (from an alternative system to Geocaching) in there which we are not sure how to log. We'll move it on somewhere else and hopefully the next person knows what to do with it.
TFTC Smile

28-Feb-15
Found a red disc like object cable-tied to a tree with no cache or dinosaur. Must have been muggled...

14-Feb-15
Excellent cache! Thanks for the effort.

14-Feb-15
This is so far the hardest cache to retrieve for me. I was tempted to just let it go but end up
I did the climb and it was fun! A favourite point from me, tftc.

14-Feb-15
Hardest cache to retrieve ever! Franky did the hard work and I watched at the ground. Very nice field will come for picnic one day. TFTC Smile

12-Feb-15
Definitely the hardest terrain one I've ever got and that includes some hairy ones in Turkey and in Greece. I'm surprised it hasn't been nicked by some fleet-footed nimble child.
Thanks for the cache.

02-Feb-15
Good hide. We went up there in a thunder storm and pouring rain, which made it slightly more difficult.

01-Feb-15
Most exciting to date! Not for the faint hearted Smile

21-Jan-15
Yes finally a tree cache manageable without equipment. Saw so many fabulous trees during our holidays here but no T5 cache on it). Approaching this one I saw the container from a distance - quite a piece of cake for us. Got out of my shoes and climbed to little dragon to sign the log - only a matter of seconds to get this one.
Thanks for this cache - we had fun!!

26-Dec-14
Hadn't looked at the cache page before I arrived here as it was a spur of the moment decision to detour here ... parked the geo-Camry nearby and walked to GZ. After a brief look around, I consulted my GPSr and found that it was playing up and wouldn't display the description, previous logs or the hint ... but I could see the terrain rating, so I knew where to look and spotted the cache immediately thereafter. No probs with the climb up, but probably wore the seat of my pants a bit on the way down.

Signed the log. Thanks for the hide Hiddo.

15-Dec-14
Yay! So happy that I finally found this one, even if I did have to wait for it to be reincarnated into a brightly coloured pterodactyl. Shaky times for me as I signed the log. It really is high! I certainly feel like I earned my smiley, and another D/T square filled too.. Empty log, so I must be the 1st. Tftc Hiddo

14-Dec-14
Replaced cache

18-Nov-14
been attacked

17-Nov-14
TFTC hiddo unfortunately I think a bird or someone had broken the cache
I found the log and what was probably the lid. I will place log in another one of your caches as its in good condition. Also found an extag on the ground as well Smile

11-Nov-14
Replaced Percy with a Fish who's the same colour as Percy was.
Have included a couple of extags and a pencil Smile

01-Nov-14
We arrived right as a group of kids were looking for it on their ipad. They removed the Thomas The Tank engine toy from the cable tie, hopefully they put it back but I don't think they will. No sign of the logbook either.

26-Oct-14
I found the log on the ground but have put back in the cache. You will need to secure this log book again.

26-Oct-14
Before publishing a few of my own tree climbing caches I wanted to check out what others had done. Found this one quite quickly and then made like a monkey and began my climb. When I got to Percy unfortunately there was no log in it so edged my way back along the branch back to the ground. Found the log lying on the grass so added my scrawl, clambered back up the tree and wedged the log back in the cache. A good day for a double climb. Thanks for the cache. The CO may need to check on the cache to ensure the log book is secured.

06-Oct-14
I love climbing trees! Maybe I need to grow up but I think I'm pretty good at it so this part of the task wasn't very hard for me.
Saying that, I just spent half an hour up the wrong tree (I'm laughing at myself while typing this). Oh well, all part of the fun. As soon as I swapped trees, I found it.
This was my 600 hundredth find which is why I chose to climb a tree. Favourite point coming your way Hiddo. TFTC.

24-Sep-14
Thanks Smile
Greetings from Germany Smile

07-Sep-14
Cache has been re secured via cable ties but Percy is no longer on a pulley so be prepared to climb a reasonable height

28-Aug-14
We had been looking for some caches with a higher DT rating so when we saw a number of tree climbing ones we loaded them up for our visit.

We parked close and made our way to GZ. The co-ords looked good and we soon spotted the hide so headed up the tree. The climb was not to hard and as we got close we realised the camo was a little damage and now as we are completing the log we realised it had just been taken off line. We completed the signing duties (1st on the flip side of the log), re hid and then dismounted. TFTC

27-Aug-14
Will check on the weekend

25-Aug-14
Met up with Mr. iluvtrekking and Mr. Richlinks to do some ladder work in the area, This was the first one, armed with the ladder, we set it up to where we have seen the cache and it wasn't there, Mr. iluvtrekking spotted it on the ground in bits.. we signed the log and hooked it back up in the tree. CO may want to check on this one...TFTC

25-Aug-14
Met up bright and early with JacobsCrew2 and iluvtrekking to tackle a few tree caches before we headed back to Bunbury. We brought along an extension ladder to help with some climbs but we spotted this cache broken on the ground. After recording our visit, JacobsCrew2 climbed the ladder and secured the cache up high but the CO will need to check it out. Thanks Hiddo.

25-Aug-14
We loaded up the ladder and headed off early to meet JacobsCrew and richlink with the intention of ticking off a few tree climbing caches before the richlinks headed home to Bunbury.

We had cased GZ on a previous visit with JacobsCrew and planned our assault. JacobsCrew was straight up the ladder the minute it was set up and was very surprised that the cache was not where we had previously spotted it. Mr ILT found the cache ground in pieces, but it is now back up the tree waiting for the CO to check it.

Thanks for the challenge Hiddo, quite and achievement to climb this tree without a ladder, but us old folks have seen better days!

02-Aug-14
It is great to finally have a smiley in this spot! This was our 4th tree this afternoon, TFTC and your contribution to our finds, Hiddo, all well worth a fave!

02-Aug-14
Our last tree cache and worthy of a fav. Thanks for your cache and the contributors on todays finds.

02-Aug-14
With a footy match in full flight and kids joining with a little climb of their own, it was great to see how to climb the tree. With that scratchy bark, this was well outside my comfort zone even in completely dry and gloriously sunny conditions. I am most relieved that there was no need for a visit to an emergency department and my parents would be too since they've have a few with me in the past!!! Thanks again and I trust you'll keep future train hides closer to where they belong.....on the ground. Razz Wishing you success tonight as you use your brain following the use of your brawn this afternoon.

17-Jul-14
This was an awesome cache and had a great time finding it. After spending 10 minutes on the wrong tree I had to analysed the photo. After finding I then dropped the log and had to climb all the way down. *bring tweezers. Thank you hiddo for this cool cache.

15-Jul-14
We stood and looked skywards for quite a while but could not see the cache, but even if we did, climbing such a tree is waaay back in our past.
Thanks anyway Hiddo, we may have to rent a friend if we are ever to get this one.

14-Jul-14
Out on a maintenance run and stopped in on Percy- he's still there! iPhone said GZ is 5m out but Garmin was spot on - so tree is one closest to beach as per pic

13-Jul-14
Couldn't see it even after climbing :0(

27-Jun-14
Ascended up the wrong tree in vain while diddy96 searched from the ground and spotted it. Was fun to climb a tree again for the first time in a while. Definitely a favourite!

13-May-14
Spent 20 minutes looking for Percy but could not find which branch he was in

03-May-14
Spent 20 minutes looking in the wrong tree until I spotted it. TFTC Hiddo

23-Apr-14
Dang, was all set for a lunchtime climb after finding a couple of nearby caches .. but unfortunately a local exercise group was setting up right under the tree!! Will have to return another time. Looking forward to this one Smile

20-Apr-14
Could see it but no one wanted to risk limbs to grab it. Fun find.

08-Apr-14
Being a septagenarian I didn't waste my time trying to climb the tree ( we don't all have some young person to climb the tree for us !!)

18-Mar-14
Finally I have found little Percy. He has lots of white squawkers keeping him company. I will need a long ladder cause tree way too slippery for me.

18-Mar-14
Innaloo - City Beach - Scarborough Beach - Innaloo 25km round trip on the geobike to find a couple of new caches.
I really like the adventure caches, this was one of them. I climbed the wrong tree first too, but then found the right one. TFTH
