While I was just beginning to search, two ladies walked by. One thought I was Jeff (or is that Geoff?). I guess I look like a lot of other people. She realized her mistake when I spoke without a Kiwi accent. TFTC.
Thanks for another smile on the way, enjoyed the loop walk starting in Brightwater. We went anti-clockwise and this was the second find for the day.
Found with NZDi. Mrs Kiwimykl (aka NZDi) had some retail therapy to do which could only be done in Nelson today. We also popped in to see my Mum at the Marsden Cemetary to freshen the flowers on her grave while we were here. It wasn't a lot of shopping, so she got me to look at the geocaching map last night and sort out somewhere to cache this afternoon. Brightwater was somewhere that seemed to have a high proportion of green dots, (just like almost everywhere in the Nelson/Tasman region despite regular visits to this side of the hill). Which is why we are here today. We had no specific targets in mind, but we ended getting a nice round twenty caches, mainly Traditionals, but with the odd Mystery and Multi thrown in as well. Of course we also did the local Adventure Lab cache and its' bonus cache too. Logs were either logged in full, or where space was at a premium, the abridged version of KM + ND was used.
A quick easy cache for the the numbers which highlights a track side feature. No problems here. We were entertained by as couple of dogs down on the river bed who were chasing a duck while their owner yelled and screamed at them try to control them. They were later seen with their tails between their legs on a lead heading back down the river, their afternoon fun well and truly over.

I disabled my caches during Level 4 lockdown to encourage everyone to do the right thing. Now we’re moving to Level 3 I’m going to leave the decision to search for a cache or not to each individual. Remember you still need to stay in your bubble and a bit of hand sanitiser before and after handling a cache would be appropriate. Keep yourself and others safe.

Another quick find here on this awesome day. TFTC Sidewaze.
Another day in Nelson/Tasman today, and the aim is to get some bike friendly ones. So I targeted a few trails and loops, then winged the rest of the day. Brightwater was the general area today, as there are also a few COs that I want to increase my find tallies on, and this area was a good start. A handful of DNFs but overall pretty happy with about 35 found. Thanks all COs.

Found on this beautiful spring day. No pen so could not sign log but here's a pic I stead. Tftc
Out for a bike ride with Lustylass on a cool but sunny day and a chance to hunt down some of the caches around Brightwater that we didn't get to on a previous visit. All good with this one.
This is my second visit to the area and another chance to do some caching with the bonus of a bike ride by the river. i have brought Bovverboy along to do the heavy lifting and dirty work. Love the bath but a bit too cold today for a dip.
We had to bypass the cache before this as there were just too many muggles and their dogs around, but didn't even need the GPS for this one. All good here. tftc
With the last souvenir insight, SJT_NZ and I tackled a few caches before the weather watch kicked in. A quick find here and all in good order.
A quick find with Tregearp on a wet afternoon hunting numbers as the deadline for the Hidden Creatures challenge nears and we only needed a few more each.
A quick find. All in good order. Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks Sidewaze yet again for another cache today.

Out for a walk with the dog and grabbing a few caches on the way. Dog was a bit unsure about the cows by the trough but came nice quick find. Thanks for the cache.
Out with Tufty helping him to locate a few caches on the Two Rivers Walkway near Brightwater. This was the fourth one on this walk today.

My granddaughter, Redco5, and I decided to have a walk along the 2-rivers walkway. No. 4 for the walk.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Its Twin Rivers walkway on the radar today - so lets go walk about. Time to get familiar with my new GPS along the way.
Not taking enough notice of Nigel navigator - waiting for him to bleep - but no so we go past his one and have to return. A quick easy snag and tag on returning to GZ. Cheers

Taybee dragon and I are walking the loop, well, the V, but we need to get back to Toby eventually, so a loop it is. Which means getting a wriggle on. So we are stiding it out, and walked straight past the bath. I didn't even see it! Whoops! it's 160m behind us! Back we go... Nice easy find, but just about got poked by the end of the wire, which were sticking out in our direction, trying to grab us. No worries, a bit of bending and this cache is much safer for the next finder. On to the next!
Great hiding of cache. As I approached I thought it must be visible for muggles or the farmer but no its a great spot. TFTC
After cycling the south island for 2 months we are spending the last 2 weeks of our holiday in the Nelson area - and naturally we need to log some caches . Tftc!
Found whilst cycling the Great Taste Trail and the Twin Rivers Walkway. #20 of 27 attempted today. Sorry for the generic log. TFTC.
Came for a nice ride down by the riverside to collect some caches. From the nameof this one I thought we would be heading down to the drink but no, it was a bath ! TFTC.
Bathtub was empty today, was looking forward to a bath. Haha. Geodog could not help herself and try out the fence to get a shock. Nice wee hide, tftc
Quick find, cache was a bit exposed so added another stone to cover it. Track this side of the river a bit rough, not so many people about either. Thanks for the cache.
thank you! great to go for a walk and do some treasure hunting. great hint in the title
#10330. This one was a lot easier to find than the previous one (WWW). TFTC.
Today is the weekend, yay, seems to have been a long week in work this week. The plan was hatched to go over to Nelson and Richmond and at the same time our daughter was travelling down from the North Island as a surprise for mrs capperz so only a quick trip over the hill, and only a limited amount of caches to be found in that time. Oh well, there's always next week, and the one after etc etc. We were in town at about 9 in the morning so actually made the most of the time anyway. First up I dropped off the passengers in Nelson and cached my way back from Wakapuaka to town in 45 minutes. After that we were off to Richmond and I had Brightwater in my sights, or Bright Eyes if you will. Hmmmm, sounds like a song.
After crossing the stream after being on the wrong side I inherited wet smelly feet but at least I'm lined up with the caches again! Nice easy find here on the way back to the car

A big bath but hot water not on....gashed my arm on a piece of wire .....hopefully fixed that..tftc
About time I went for another bike ride as most of my caches lately have been drive bys (or short walks). Headed off from Richmond before 9am, fortunately before the wind got up , and after crossing the Wairoa River bike bridge, took the route via the confluence of the two rivers. It's not one of the easiest track to bike and had a few near misses where I nearly fell off ) but made it to GZ in one piece.
Had already sussed out the hiding place on a previous bike ride so didn't take long before I was signing the log book. A little bit of water in the bath after the recent rain, and even though I was hot and thirsty as I had forgotten to bring my water bottle with me, I was not at all tempted.
As I wasn't keen on returning the way I came, carried on the track towards Brightwater to see where it came out. Think I will return to the other caches along this section of walk way from the Brightwater end.
Thanks for day #280 of my streak.

Spotted straight away. I reckon this was about midway on our walk today and we were roasting by then! TFTC.
With a free hour, I decided to try a local walkway we had not been on before and so set off for a nice stroll to grab a few caches en route.
Despite the warm afternoon, I resisted the temptation to cool off in the bath. No towel!

Had the time after work tonight to fit in a bike ride to try and tidy up a few caches on this area. Not hot enough for a dip tonight . TFTC. Took TB
Nice sunny day to get Ms E out on her bike and to clean up a few caches that I've had on the "To Do" list.

Turning into a beautiful day with a bit of heat now in the sun and so very pleased to be out walking and caching. My last Sidewaze cache for the day. I seem to have collected a few on my circuit.
Thanks for putting them all out there and TFTC

Out on an afternoon bike ride picking up the odd cache or two TFTC don't need a bath it's just started to rain
Enjoyed the wander along to here this afternoon and enjoyed the return trip even more with the snow on mountain tops. Wasn't tempted at GZ. TFTC #6019
This was our turn around point today and it didn't take us long after signing the log to decide that the weather conditions were not conducive to taking a dip so we headed back to the car and went on to do other messages on the way home again. TFTC.
The wind was brisk and cold no doubt because of the fresh snow on the mountain tops. It made me reconsider taking a bath at GZ. TFTC
Like others have logged, there was a lot of discussion about the 'pleasure' of a bath here. One member of the team was very keen - for the other to test the bath. The other was decidedly unkeen. Although the paths had been quiet, the spot was rather exposed and the lack of a rubber duck was the final decider. Hmmm.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Quick find while out on MTB ride, warm riding but bath empty and a bit cold to get undressed .

Easy find on a beautiful Friday morning. I wonder if the bath still has it's uses? Just seems a bit strange it's empty.....Thanks for the cache Sidewaze
Thanks Sidewaze good cords lead me straight to cache. Don't think I will do the bath thing though.
An after work walk with Ellie on a very pleasant winter evening. I didn't even need my torch tonight. I hadn't noticed gz when I last passed this spot in the dark but it was obvious as I approached today. Ellie hates baths but loves swimming. This one when full may be big enough to count as swimming. Unless soap was involved and then she would protest I'm sure. No trouble making the find in the likely place.
Thanks Sidewaze for the cache.

Before coming to Nelson I would have 2-3 dogs at any one time. All would jump into this passing, summer or winter...but they would be disappointed with the water level here.
I would need it warmer, cleaner and deeper too.
Thanks for the cache.

FTF After finding a puzzle cache in Richmond it was onwards and outwards to go and find this cache. I would have enjoyed a bike ride along here but Flying Phoenix had taken my off road bike to school so it was a walk to the cache for me. Great morning for it too. Spotted the hide on approach and there was the cache. More of a small small or large micro so I couldn't drop any of the trackables I had with me in. Had the trail mostly to myself but encountered 2 bikers, 2 walkers and 1 dog along the way. TFTC, Biggles.
Having just got the nearby FTF thought we may as well get the FDF as well. Nice easy find on a beautiful starry night TFTC
