Went to collect the container but Causeway Road is already well under water, so will disable until the floodwaters recede.
While travelling through the area we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
As the floods rise this road will be under water very sooooon!! Caches and contents were very good.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Staying in Renmark for a short holiday, using caching as a guide as to where we travel. 41 caches were found along and around the state border. This cache is one that was found today.
Another simple hide on the island here. An interesting area, cheers.
Find #4244 on 18 Jul 2022.

Away for the weekend for some R & G..(Rest & Geocaching!). Our last day today and we just had to get a few more before packing up camp. This was a quick find at GZ. An interesting looking place! TFTC
Tassie expat and I saw this mini series and thought they looked isolated enough for us to do some exploring. Thanks for placing this series as we wouldn't have come down here otherwise.
A quick find with frmen1 whilst exploring the area. Has previously been very muddy underfoot, but has dried out nicely. TFTC
Found it Solo morning stroll on Causeway Island. Stamped as The Brown Family aka “the coloured mint tin by the sea people”

Day 2 of a few days in Renmark checking out the sights and collecting as many hides as I can with a totally uninterested other half.
Most caches were easily found, others not so and a few had gone AWOL. A few needed some maintenance by the owners. Those have had NM logs placed on them.
Thank you for the cache crane2, found 6/04/2022, 9:41:46 AM

Around the Riverland for the weekend due to swimming at Renmark. Grabbed this one while hubby working hard at the pool. Easy find. TFTC.
A beautiful warm morning with Parkrun, coffee, new ground to explore and now a cache to add to the experience. Does it get any better? TFTC crane2
Ohhh- make sure you unwrap the paper inside! V specy! Last cache for the causeway
Staying in Remark for a few days and I am leaving tomorrow for Lake Bonny. So my last days mission while in Remark was to find some more of the caches in the area before leaving. This was a quick find on a cool morning. Time to break for lunch. TFTC.
Thanks for the cache, another spot we wouldn’t have been to if it wasn’t for geocaching
Back from Headings Cliffs Lookout these three caches lured us to a little detour.
All three caches were easily found, and some wildlife, too...
Many thanks, Bigerchen

Certainly nice to pick up some caches in the Riverland, been some years since we was here last time. TFTHSL Cheers
With a family event scheduled for later in the day, we left home early to find a few caches [^].
First time in this area and it was a beautiful drive across the causeway [^].
Found this one amongst the ancients . TNLNSL.
A bit of a pity there's no access to the river along here .
Thanks for another one Crane2.

Day 3 Monash B and B
Found with mogni. After yesterday's 45 degree's we were happier today was cooler. We still got a early start to the day. Just driving around the outskirts of renmark getting all the caches i ran out of time for last trip. quick find.
Myself and mogni came up to the river land to go to MacCabe Corner and find the virtual there plus drive the mail trail in murray sunset national park plus the 4 x 4 track in cooltong national park. The original idea was to go through to mildura but with weather 37, 45 , 37 degrees fore cast we changed plans and stayed in monash instead. Any caches that where found damaged where replaced and any logbooks found full or with 2 or 3 spaces left where replaced.

Based in Mildura with fellow geocaching -buddies Suscoe, today we headed westward and crossed that infamous border and enjoyed a day of caching around Renmark and Berri. Always enjoy being close to the river.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** Future seekers would appreciate a fresh dry log here please.
Thanks 'crane2' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Suscoe headed out today from Mildura for a trip to Renmark and Berri and back again.
We were in the terrific company of Phetlern.
We covered well over 360 kilometres on this trip and we saw a wide variety of countryside from sand drifts, to cropping land to scrub and beautiful green orchards and grape vines.
We saw quite a few different varieties of birds and saw the magnificent Murray River from different perspectives.
It was a much cooler day today with clouds breaking up the sunshine from time to time.
Thanks to crane2 for this hide.
We enjoyed the trip down and into this area.

So we had a fairly leisurely start to the day with breakfast on the water's edge watching the pelicans. Needed a bit of R&R to start the Saturday morning.
We then headed out for a great day of caching, gin tasting and beer drinking. We had a super picnic lunch in the paddock and ended the day with epic Greek food from the Greek Food Truck.
The weather was superb and I was thankful not to encounter any slithering snakes. We did see a few emus and sleepy lizards.
Husband had only brought cold weather clothes so we had to go shopping for shorts and tshirt for him!
Geohound had a huge day and was shattered by the time we got back to camp, little did he know that he would also be up all night with a possum tormenting him right outside the tent but that is a story for tomorrow.
We thoroughly enjoyed all the caching around Renmark a great variety of hides meant for an excellent day out.
This was our final find on the causeway this afternoon. Cache found quickly and in good condition. TFTC and the little detour crane2 we enjoyed it!

Quick easy find on a weekend caching with the geofamily. After a busy morning catching time to go rest for a bit before perhaps heading out again this evening. TFTC and the causeway trail.
Out for a day trip to Renmark, stopping to find caches along the way. Was great driving over the causeway. A lot of birdlife about. This one took a little more searching than the other 2 but soon had the log book signed. TFTC

Found this one this afternoon while enjoying some sunshine and grabbing a few caches while in town on family holidays, this series of caches were a nice quick drive byes as we ventured around the area following our GPS's. Thanks crane2 for the cache, no troubles locating this one.
In Renmark for a family holiday for the week and having the opportunity to grab a few finds. After being out on the river for the morning, I decided to grab a few close by finds while others continued to enjoy the a water. This was a nice little cluster of hides, as it meandered around the sand tracks and showed me a different side of the river.
Another quick find had here.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the start of 2018 my average was only 47 words per log, which seems a long way from the 100 target. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 7000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 60 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.
Thanks crane2 for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

A quick find while out exploring.... trying to find a spot for some yabbie nets, but thinking it may be too cold still. The cache contents are a bit damp... most likely as the rubber ring seel is missing. TFTC!
An interesting road access here!
All three cache here found easily and in the dark.

Thanks

We headed this way this afternoon to find a quiet place for a kayak (so many boats on the river). An easy find and a fab place for a yak. Many thanks
We're camping nearby and decided to tour the sights and caches of the Renmark area. Thanks
I went to the wrong hint .... hevwalker got it right!! Thanks crane2 for the hide!!
Spent the day caching in the Riverland back blocks with CPwanderer...
It amazes me how there are so many young looking dead trees in the area...the salt must get to them early in life...

Found by Mary & David at 1224. We're sorry that this little cluster is over. Much cooler here than it was in Darwin and Alice. Our thanks to crane2.
Hi there crane2.
We found your cache **"Causeway Cache 1"** at 10:47:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 16105).
Our trek today took us around Paringa and Renmark via the "next closest" route as determined by our GPS. On our trek we found a variety of container types. We ended up finding 11 caches with 0 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Had to come back to do the last one here because when over here the other day I got a piece of wood in the side of a nearly new tyre so got out before finding it. Today was a good day, found it without incident.
with a weekend off a few cache we did find
thank you crane2 for placing the cache

These caches had been calling to us earlier today; so close yet so far from reach! Well no more as we make our way back in tot town and a well earned drink or two.
That's it; last one for the day - we are done. Thanks for bringing us down this way.

Caching around Renmark brought us to the Causeway Series. A nice area around the causeway even though my map showed the road didn't go across. Mrs A driving as I did the grabs. Visited a TB. TFTC crane2.
Cool causeway. So many cool hiding spots - in the end found by Lea (kids were too short. Great spot. Tftc
Thanks for the find. Hoping the road would lead to the river but only private property. Ground was slightly damp, log also damp, emptied excess water out of container. Found with mrbuzzy
