This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as one that may need attention. Perhaps it is time for the CO to check on this one please.
I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Your prompt attention to logs that indicates things could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all geocachers. It is generally accepted that 3 consecutive DNF's is reason enough to check, see here: [**Owner is responsible for visits to the physical location,**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance )

Got some caches on this trail some time ago so on a very pleasant last day of 2017 decided to get some of the newer ones . However, not a good start - couldb't find either the snake or the cache. No recent indication of problems in the logs is also a worry. However its a great place for a bike ride so will return

Last grab before the exhilarating glide downhill to the railway line. The cache was in plain view... loved the little guardian, YVGtrail.
I needed somewhere to ride the cobwebs out of my head and off the bike, and get some smileys for the final week of our Mary Hyde's adventure, so decided to visit the Aqueduct Trail for the first time in ages. Plenty of people and their canine companions were also enjoying the day and the trail, so I had the fun of the occasional game of leapfrog, and a few waits for uninterrupted retrieval. Just a normal, fun day on the trail, really.
All up, a baker's dozen for the afternoon, and I just beat the rain to the train. And as an added bonus, it was dry again when I had to ride home from my local station.

There is a great view from here, and there was even a kangaroo to be seen. At GZ it was a quick find of this nicely sized container. It is good to see this path being so nicely maintained for people to enjoy - there are plenty of places to take a seat and admire the view.
Thanks to YVGtrail for placing this cache.

Out on a rare occassion with my non geo hubby grabbing a few caches while in the area. With 1 flat tyre on one bike, we rode and walked this great trail. I was watchful in the longer grass when approaching, making sure there were no other visit snakes.
Thanks YVGtrail for placing the cache for us to find.

Out this afternoon with jimbo_80 on a lovely ride along this beautiful trail.
Just as well jimbo_80 headed down for this one, as there was a giant 8-legged cache guardian. Ewww.
Thankyou for bringing us here today

OzHockeyChick and I almost had heart failure here - first a snake cache container, then a big spider running along the retaining wall!
We found it easily and signed the log, thanks!
We found it easily and signed the log, thanks!
Found a snake also, but it didn't scare me, stamsigned the log and replaced cache, tham\nks YVGtrail an easy walking track to allow muggle wife to come with me
We made our way to the aqueduct trail for an afternoon walk- and of course do some caching... this was our first find of the day, a quick find!! Thanks for hiding the cache YVGtrail and for taking us to an area we hadn't been to in a while.
Had a very pleasant day out today with Crusty K9 and Mr and Mrs Bunadoorian. We found this cache. Thanks for the cache, and the good company.
A scheduling error on my behalf meant I had babysitting organised but no longer anything to do, so with a day free to myself I decided to pick a random spot on the geocaching map where I haven't cached before. I spotted the walk along the aqueduct that looked interesting so headed out in this direction to sample some of the hides. It was a good choice because the quality of all the hides I found was very high and the trail was a very interesting walk with some great views along the way.
Made me do a double take before I reached out for the cache. Thanks for the cache YVGtrail.

My ninth geocache. The logbook was a bit wet and hard to write on. I liked that the cache wasn't hidden under anything but just hiding in plain sight.
Out on a big day with Team Justice and Clint&Abby this was my first cache - but they had already got it and just stood back and let us hunt. Thanks to sharp child eyes we soon had it in hand and I was admiring the magnificent work on the snail that you'd glued on the box.... Then realised that the snail was real, Hahahah. There was a lot of poop at GZ - a curiously dark green colour but not like any poo I've seen before. I've decided that it was pteranodon poo, in lieu of knowing what it really was. You have a serious pteranodon problem out here - best get onto that. I wonder what pteranodon meat would fetch on the black market?
First cache of the day while waiting for a couple of other to join to help me with the multi monthly challenge. A nice easy one for the start but had to be careful of the snake!!!! TFTC.

We picked up this one we missed last time as it was getting dark

Great camo with cleaver and very realistic earth colour . Mr Baby snake looks so real.
A jogger who I meet who is a Cacher himself said he spotted a large snake across the width of the path nearby recently . So keep eyes open as we always do in Eltham .
NB. I replaced the ziplock bag as it was ripped along the seam and the log is quit damp . I am only a new Cacher . Hope to put some out when I gain more experience .Thanks

Out and about on a ride with Morcs4 and Vanessa&Adoh. Last cache at the end if the trail where we turn around and head back to the cars. Reading the history of the aqueduct and watching the various stages of it has been truly amazing. Its sad to see the condition it is now in. The ride is great and we have enjoyed looking at all the homemade bridges that cross over the aqueduct from peoples properties. Thank you for this series.
Well, i am now logging caches on the side of the road. My geobuddies have taken my kids to do Keeta - Smell while I wait for RACV. We, including Mark&Kelly and Vanessa&Aodh, had a late start from original pre-arranged time to do the aquaduct series, as one had a flat battery and another needed a bike part. Now however, it looks like i might have a flat or collapsed battery. The geogirls teamed up to find this cache with ease. Time to turn around and head back to cars. We had originally planned to parks at either end to only do 4km with the 4 kids but now are doing 8km. TFTC
Our last cache before we turn back and pick up the caches we've been passing on the way back to the car. Thanks for the history, it's been very interesting to hear about our water. Thanks YVGtrail.

After walking up the hill to the start of the trail, we started our gradual decent toward Research. It was an enjoyable walk. Some muggles on bikes sped off ahead of us, and I made the nice quick grab. Thanks for putting together the trail.

Freezing day today but nothing stops me stretching the old hammies in search of a cache. Thanks for the hide
My morning head clearer took me out this way today and the cache was a quick find. Didn't get bitten.
Can't help thinking there could be more caches out this way. Hmmmmm

Got past the snake! Left my heart and a Sustrans keyring. Took a ballet pumps sticker x
Didn't read the bit about the fake snake so I jumped when I first saw this!
Quick easy find in a very pretty spot with nice views.
Dropped a pencil in, the cache is in good condition.

I'm helping Mountain Goat get to 500 caches today. This was a fun little cache that got him a step closer to his goal. He also jumped a little at the snake, which was icing on the cake. TFTC!
#455 - Down in the suburbs for a fun day of caching with uvtorch. Love the cache decorations of this one! Tftc
Suscoe's 18th find of today.
We had an early start and ended with a total of 31 finds in all.
A pleasant day, a touch of warmth, so wind and a little bit of sun peeking through the clouds.
A short walk to GZ and we found a slightly soggy cache.
We emptied out the water.
The zip lock had kept the log dry as a bone.

The plan for today was to take the bike to Research and complete the caches along the Aqueduct Trail. The weather was perfect for cycling however it did mean that there were a few more muggles. Luckily there were still plenty of gaps to safely grab the caches.
Luckily Mr Snake did not have any relatives keeping him company. TNLN. TFTC.

A quick stop and grab on our drive home. Thought we'd come the back way down Allendale road. That was interesting for our car! Had a few cows for company and a number of muggles jogging past. Geokid#2 made the find and was impressed with the snake.

Thanks YVGtrail - Great spot.

Out and about trying to hit the record for the most caches in a day for me. Out with my brother andy12031990. Tftc
Found it! An impromptu to visit Muggle Heather found us walking along the other end of the Aqueduct trail we started a few weeks ago to find more caches! This was one of them. A quick find! I thought the camo might frighten Muggle Heather but she didn't bat an eyelid! I pulled up some unwanted weeds. TFTC SL. Very professional looking cache!
The Faramir family found this one early today, the first for my young heir. Thanks for bringing us out to this lovely walk we have not visited before.
Out and about tonight doing a few drive-bys. Turn my head ready for the rest the week. Tftc
Shadow the geodog needed a walk and this seemed like a good place to start. Cache was found quickly at 10:10am in between muggles jogging and cycling past.

After walking along part of the Aqueduct Trail I realised that this cache was on the way back to my car.
A nice hide in plain view if you are looking for it, otherwise you would never see it. Great camo.
Thank you for bringing me to this path as I now plan to walk here more often as it is quite close to my home and provides great exercise for us who are not so fit.

# 7405. Time to grab the bikes and head out to do a few caches today with Robmc. Fortunately the weather was kind to us and I managed 21 smilies and managed to log one Challenge and get a cache to finalise requirements for another.
We have been riding the aqueduct trail and found it most interesting. Enjoyed seeing how it looks along different sections - such an interesting piece of history that I am sure not too many people would know about.
We did enjoy finding this cache - the last one for the day and a good one to finish up on. Nice cache and great views. We stop to have a peak at the caged area on the way back to the car. In my log here I said I left a pathtag but when I went back to get one from the bike I found I had none left. Ooops.
Thanks YVGtrail

Seemed like a nice day for a ride so BettyBoo3747 and I loaded up the deadly treadlies, and set off to grab a few odd caches and the Aqueduct series.
I had done one cache along the aqueduct, but ages ago.
We parked halfway along the trail (Parsons Road) and looked down the slope! Looked like we were in for a very steep ride! But aqueducts are fairly flat we thought.
Some great views on this section of the track. We were hoping that GZ would appear before the track took a downwards incline. So it proved to be.
Really liked the diorama on the container!
Thanks, Robmc.

Wow!! What an awesome trail!! A short easy walk from the road. Now to find some more.
Out for the day minus Little Miss Daredevil who was having time with her grandmother's. We joined with Smepster & Darcy and Mrs Smepster and Mini Smepster for a morning of caching fun. Was a lovely day for it especially when I was first to spot this little beauty. I let Diva and Darcy hone in on it at closer range with Darcy's eagle eye coming in first.
Out caching with the LalorBrennan's today. Our first for the day. We told the kids the hint coming up to the GZ, but they just kept on walking. As soon as they saw me off the path they quickly hurried over and Darcy just reaches out and grabs the cache. After explaining to her that you have to be careful and make sure that the snake was not a real one we were signing the log and the kids traded some swaps and we replaced the cache. TFTC.

Find #4463
I was on my way back from Eildon and completing the Geotour when I got a message from Day1976 asking if I wanted to go caching tonight. I said sure, why not, so it was agreed he would pick me up at 6pm from my place and we headed out from there. It was a nice night and the air was warm.
This was the last one along this trail for the night, a simple find as the cache was pretty much out in the open as the camo is coming off. Other than the camo, the cache is in good condition.
Thanks to YVGtrail for placing this cache. TNLN

Found this cache during a caching evening with ahomburg. The good muggle wife has allowed me my New Years Resolution to get out caching more and that is to be Friday nights, when acceptable. Tonight was the first one and it was warmly welcomed as it had been a trying day at work today.
I found this one very easily. There was alomost no camo on it at all. It's amazing how this one has remained dry inside as it has absolutely no seal on it at all! The log was signed and cache replaced. I found a bit of extra camo lying around to better cover this one up.
Thanks for the cache!

Found this one last in the lot we collected on the "leisurely" family bike ride we took last Tuesday. In the clan the most finds for the day is a highly coveted title and can lead to some pretty frenetic competition. In the end it was a draw as Junior clan member snatched the last for the day. After riding back to the car at Swipers Park we sat and ate a delicious picnic on our travel chairs while discussing the events of the morning. Gotta Love caching! TFTC

Lol, when I got there, a skink was sitting down next to Mr snake, who was smaller than I'd expected. Tftc. I didn't have a pen on me at the time, but I'll be back.
Today TurnerFamilyFTG (who was just back from a long holiday and still jet lagged but still came along - what a trooper!) and I headed out to do the aqueduct trail plus gather the clues that we had already started on for the "seemed like a good idea" series plus do a few multis.
We parked nearby and walked in for a nice easy find, guardian didn't scare me because I read about it before arriving.
Thanks YVGtrail for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Spiffy- and I ventured out for some caches and a catch up. It was tough going as the heat was on us. We made a quick find on this one and were back on our way. Thanks YVGtrail for the cache.
We found this cache today at 4:40pm as number 16 of 24 on our Aqueduct Tour of Research. Thanks for constructing such an elaborate cutting to hide the cache in. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
I was in the area having lunch with a friend and afterwards decided to check out a few caches along the Aqueduct trail. This was the first cache I looked for after I parked nearby.
I wandered the short distance down the trail and then my GPSr took me slightly off the path where I quickly spotted the scary looking cache as it was fully exposed - not that muggles would venture near GZ due to the possibility of slithering things. I signed the log at 5:10 pm and then returned the cache to its hiding spot with a bit more natural cover. TN but left the only reptile I had in my swaps bag: a lizard - sorry, no snakes today.
Thanks YVGtrail for the fun cache in a very picturesque location. I met a few dog walkers along the trail who said I could walk my geobeagles off-lead here so we'll be back when the reptiles are hibernating.
