No luck during a spin around this side of town on the geocycle.

Needs maintenance ASAP! Container in horrible condition and is missing log and swaps. Most likely due to muggles. Possibly needs replacing.

Tree has had recent trimming done we think it's gone

Grabbed this on the way home from a day out exploring the area.
Container has a few holes chewed in it, possibly critters after the vegemite packet I found inside and removed. Log book is still dry. TFTC

This cache is a nice easy one. Introduced a fellow geographer. The case is in need of some love though.

Found it eventually, GPS was way off.
Had to ride off with it and come back as a muggle was close by.
Cache looked as if it was moved slightly as it was balancing on a few thin branches.
Cache is not in very good condition, and there are holes in the bottom of the container and log pages are almost full.
Watch the cars.

We are spending a few days in Cairns after our trip up to "The Tip", and logging caches between showers.

Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container looks like it has been chewed by something and the log book is falling apart.
[Red]The listed trackable "Cub Scout Den 5 Geopin" is not in the cache, could holtexplorers (or the Trackable owner) please "Mark the Item as Missing" so it can be removed from the cache inventory. (This option is under Actions on the trackable's web page).

A problem with parking close to this cache but just up the road there is a spot where one can stop if you want to wash the car whilst caching. The trackable is not in the cache, I have emailed the owner re removing it from the cache listing. As to the cache, it was well exposed, the plastic bag was not water proof anymore so discarded it, the container has a huge hole in the base and there were only some bits of paper to write upon, I opted not to sign but left a gerrynewgirl sticker in the container. TFTC.

This cache has the potential to be a friendly 'drive by', but without maintenance, or any apparent interest from the owner, I fear the worst. Indeed the container needs replacing; perhaps a resident geocacher in Cairns might be good enough to exchange it with something more suitable. TFTC Took nuffin and left a weroamin token.

Holidaying in Cairns for a few days today we decided to check out the Skyrail and take in the sights along the way.
After spending a few hours searching around Kuranda we returned to collect a few more smileys around the area.

Quick find at this one unfortunately the cafe was closed by the time we got to this one. Took trackable.

On our last day in Australia we did some caching in Cairns. This was the first one. Easy to find and a big box for my GeoCoin ("Afraid of flying").

Today we explored Cairns and surrounding area using geocaching as our guide.

Dropped by today to check my first trackable was still in the cache as I place it out back in may and have seen a few cachers find the cache with no reference to my TB. If anyone finds Raging Ryano dog tag trackable please place into circulation again.

Thanks holtexplorers for this cache. We were out and about and took an early morning opportunity to stop and look for this cache.
We left nothing and took nothing, but signed the log to immortalise our visit.

Nice morning walk tfth

A pretty quick find although it had geokid baffled so I was able to nab this one first , trickiest part was dodging the muggles which made it brilliantly interesting. TFTC

The cafe was closed. No horns. Indeed there was a rope across the drive way to hold the beasts at bay.

A nice sized container. Good swaps. We did find the co-ords to be out which meant we used the hint. We have included the ones that worked for us, hopefully this makes for a quicker less noticeable hunt. T 1 x TB, there are no others in the cache. SL TFTC

On a trip to Cairns for Little Athletics State Championships, had the Turtle TB to drop off that we found in Redcliffe unsure why my log of this tb did not record on website also picked up geopin. Finally got internet at airport only see turtle has been retrieved alreafy glad to get him closer to his goal. Great cache, excellent clues.

Finally a container with swapping possibilities[:X]! Avoloz was the lucky finder using his "eagle eyes".
