After spending a bit of time looking into fixing this, i'm going to have to archive this one.
Thanks to all the finders.
Thanks to all the finders.
I had hoped to resolve the issues with this cache before now but due to problems with the fix it will have to wait for my next free weekend.
Due to comments from the last finder I'm going to disable this until I can have a look at it.
We were not overly hopeful about finding this after the reading the Mynel & Daisy log. A suspect spot proved looked to have a small paper log but it was a natural item. Then something else was noticed a little higher, but no matter how hard we tried there was no budging it.
It was so clearly something that only a human could put there, so we are claiming a find, unless we discover it was a red herring. A photo is attached, which in due course can be removed depending on the feedback from stainless-steel-rat.

It had been several months since we had been out for a day caching and we chose South Arm as the venue. Peter thought to view the Australian geocaching site and this added a few extras to look for.

Spent a decent amount of time poking around for the cache but came up empty handed! Will be back another day to try again.
Love the way this one's hidden. And it's such a beautiful place and totally hidden away behind the back of Rokeby!!
Thanks for the cache! Was a particularly good one.

Great hide. Need to think like a geocacher to be a geocacher for this one! Well done. Have replaced it securely. Could not sign log because was out for a walk and had no pen but will return later sometime soon to sign. Loved the idea, well done, tftc
Hi there again
I signed the log today but dated it for the find yesterday. Cache in good condition, thanks stainless-steel-rat
Cheers

This cache needs maintenance. I'm claiming it is a find but technically I didn't sign log book. The cache is stuck good and proper and it broke in the futile attempt at removal.
Nice quick find on the way to dinner at Lauderdale. Doing a few other Stainless-Steel-Rat caches in the past made it easier. Had no pen so have attached a photo of the log as evidence of the find.
After a primer in SSR caches, we pretty much went straight for this one, nicely done. TFTC
This was the last cache for dabom81 and myself on our Christmas caching afternoon. At GZ we hunted about for some time until dabom noticed something a little odd. Hmm, can that be the cache? It was finally decided that it was indeed the cache, we just weren't sure how to get it. A bit of this and that and into our hands it popped. Phew! We signed the log and then replaced the cache back a little more accessible. Very sneaky.
Thanks for the cache stainless-steel-rat

After searching thoroughly with no result, a time honoured widening of the search area led to - BINGO ! You know what it is when you see it, but still very clever !
Thanks for the cache, stainless-steel-rat !

Clever hide. Was going to pass this one. But changed my direction.7th for the day. TFTC
I spotted the excellent hiding spot as I walked to it so it was a nice easy find.

We found this extremely clever cache in a few second of being a GZ. The 3 SSR caches we found today were all excellent. Another fav pt for this one. TFTC.
This is such a lovely spot and thanks to my Garmin I was quickly at GZ and cache in hand. Such a great idea, I have one of these that I will be putting out there soon [:-)] TFTC s-s-r gets a favourite from me!
I got chance to visit in daylight today and swapped out the cache for one I prepared earlier.
After an email from AusandAus2 informing me that the cache is not working as it should i'm going to disable it until I can fix the issue.
Previously logged as a DNF on 9 June. Returned today and with a hint from deercheetah found it.
An excellent hide. Thanks for the cache.

Went for this cache in my lunch hour with a work friend who hasn’t been Geocaching before. Arrived at GZ she found this one in a few minutes. (I think the cache wasn’t put back correctly and needs some maintenance. Thanks for the cache
Problem 1 was finding somewhere to park; problem 2 dodging the muggles who were going for a walk.
Then I put my hand in the right thing immediately, but discounted it, so it was 15 minutes later and almost giving up before I found it.
Sneaky hide.
Nice views, too.
Thanks.

After a horrible windy wet and cold day yesterday, this morning dawned still and sunny. The egg suggested a quick drive 'over the hill' to the unknown reserve. A few minutes searching had me studying the correct spot. Perhaps yesterdays wind altered the scene but it is now corrected. Very clever hide SSR in a very tranquil location. Intesting it you look at google maps it shows the paddocks above all mapped out as houing block. I guess it will happen one day. A favourite from us. TFTC

Being such a lovely autumn day, we decided to come south to look for a couple of caches on the Western Shore and more around New Norfolk. However, as we were running ahead of our planned schedule we decided to also look for a couple of caches published on the Eastern Shore. Access to GZ was somewhat easier than for the previous cache, for which Mr y'stassie in particular was thankful. Having confidence in the accuracy of stainless-steel-rat's coordinates, we took a very close look at the area of GZ and after circling it a couple of times, Mrs y'stassie noticed something a little different. Close inspection revealed a very well hidden cache, one which blended exceptionally well into the surroundings. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for another great hide stainless-steel-rat - another favourite from us.

Sounds like this needs a little TLC, temp disabling it till I get chance to have a look.
Great cache. Maddie and I went for a little outing and this was stop #1. It took me a few circuits, pokes, prods and examinations to find the cache, and that was after I found a very clever decoy...(whether planned or accidental I'm not sure). However, the fun then started, as what was attached just came off in my fingers and retrieval was almost impossible as the surroundings seemed to have swelled perhaps. I got tweezers from the car and after quite a few attempts got it in my hands to sign. Putting it back seemed easier, but I'd suggest checking on this sometime (take tweezers or pliers) to see that you're happy with the fit. Great camouflage, I'm sure muggles wouldn't notice that hide!
I then looked around to an empty reserve...of course the lure of a relaxing swim was too much for Maddie and she'd gone down for a dip. I also brushed off what looked like a tick from my jeans.
Thanks for a top cache.
Favourite point added.

I hadn't been this far along this road before, and I found the layout of proposed streets that will perhaps one day be constructed up the hill quite interesting. I was curious about how a photo taken today might compare to 10 or 20 years from now. With the help of the hint and a geotrail that has begun to form it didn't take long to locate the cache, cleverly hidden as I would expect from SSR.
Found it. Actually found it. Did not stumble accross it, worked very hard for it. Really worth the effort. TFTC
After some time searchingabout we got serious andactually found the bliiter.. Another cache that explains your tag. This one got the gold'n touch at 4.30 pm TFTC.
Cache zombified. Clever hide well out of the way. Muggles not a problem here. Tftc.

*FTF* 8.23am.
Saw this one come out last night, checked the description and decided that it was too hard for a night find - good decision!!! This morning checked early that it was not logged and then headed out to the location. As neared the area saw a suspicious vehicle drive out and thought we had missed the FTF. Got to GZ (nice location and excellent coords) and then began the discovery. Walked around and around, checking everything. Thought for a while it was the type of hide we really hate but eventually came up with an idea and there it was brilliantly hidden. Opened carefully and delighted that there was a blank sheet and a gap in the FTF area.
TFTC and a favourite for a clever hide.
