Regret to have to log a DNF. Pretty sure we had ground zero but no sighting. Maybe a case of cache blindness
Looked in likely spot but looks as if gone. Loose rocks lying at base of larger rocks...have attached photo of where I looked...cheers ST.
A very cloudy day whilst driving through here, so no view to see. But still a nice drive regardless!
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache Monty&Tylo.
best wishes,

After driving past the previous cache (we went back for it) we pulled in here. There was a car with two ladies in it, just sitting and listening to music and looking at the view like they didn't have a care in the world.......and not going anywhere soon.
Luckily the angle worked and SSR was able to sneak the cache out so we could sign it without them seeing. Great views, I would have liked to hang around too but no time.
Thanks Monty&Tylo for making us stop here, even if only a brief moment, to enjoy the view

This was an odd one with is thinking we would be unable to search due to dam muggles, but with a bit of luck and Goose walking off and doing a good job of distracting the muggle car dwellers I knelt down and 'took pictures' and just happened to signed the log while doing it! After that I took in the view and got back to the car before moved on.

What a great outlook. We were lucky there was no cloud around for about 5 minutes. Cache in good condition.
Our 2nd trip to Tassie and enjoying the beautiful sights. The view was obscured by cloud today. Thanks for highlighting this area and for your cache placement.
Found with the geo-crew during a drive from Sheffield to Ouse. Great outlook but we also had to wait for a car load of muggles to depart GZ before the search could begin in earnest. Many thanks Monty&Tylo
We had to wait for a car load of muggles to drive away so had a little extra time in the very fresh cold air.

After living in Tasmania all our life and not visiting Corinna on the wild west coast we decided it was long overdue to go. We had planned a trip couple of times, but events intervened, but not this time and there was an added bonus in that the accommodation had on offer three nights for the price of two.
The route was via Zeehan and the Flatman barge crossing of the Pieman, which was the first day back in service after repair, then north through Waratah and over the Central Plateau home.
It was fabulous and we are making plans to return again

First morning in Tassie on a 10-day sight-seeing trip, enjoying the scenery and natural beauty.
Boy, was it cold here - never expected so much snow so early at this level. My fingers were cold, but not too cold to sign the logbook .
Thanks Monty&Tylo and the other Tassie COs who made the 2500km trip so memorable .

Australia Trip, Day 27 of 49
Tasmania Trip, Day 11 of 12
On Cache tour with Theatralis.

We still wanted to visit a cave in Tasmania. That's why we made this afternoon a tour to the Marakoopa Cave. Then we still went to the Liffey Falls. On the way back to Devonport we made a large cache tour. Among others, we visited the Great Lake. Because our ferry was started very early on the next day, we still got a few caches in Devonport evening.
Great view! We must be careful that we do not fall down. But we survived it and could still make a lot of caches on the day;-)

Back in Tassie with whitewebbs finding caches that have been published since our last visit, this is one of them. We targetted the caches in the centeral highlands on a great day out, not too cold!
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found it, views murky from the smoke from bushfires, but up here today we're above the smoke. TFTC
We're half way through our six month stay (til the end of March '16) from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney, to tour in the caravan and also visit our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley On four previous visits before this visit, we were muggles, so we have a whole island of caching fun ahead of us!

Travelling to south from Cowrie Point instead of western due the bushfire..

A 10 day trip to Tasmania with a lot more caching then initially expected, but I enjoyed every minute of it! This was one of the many caches I found and enjoyed. Can't wait to get back here and do it all over again, there are so many great places in Tasmania.

Superb views near brought me to tiers. Dolerite columns and scree slopes abound, the ex rock licker was rather excited. A beautiful sunny day with some tiny remnant patches of snow on the peaks.. thanks..!!
Lovely day for a drive through parts of Tasmania not been to before. Thanks for making me stop for a magnificent view. Little bit of snow still still on the ground. Geocadets tried to make a snowman. Found with choppersrule. TFTC

What a magnificent view of the tiers from this spot, seeing all the rubble piled up at the base, natural erosion occurring right before our eyes. There were no flowers to be seen at this time of tear, but there was still a sprinkling of snow still lingering. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Travelling around Australia, from our home in WA.
Another lovely day with sunshine!
Such an exciting day seeing Liffey Falls, The Great Lake, and Snow!!!! WooHoo. (remember in WA snow is almost non existent)
No problems finding this one, although we had to shake the snow off the cache.

The views get better as the height gets, uh, higher. We appreciated the PnG as the temperature plumetted towards... well 6 actually, but with added wind-chill. [Blue]Find # 1968. Thanks for the cache Monty&Tylo TNLN.[/Blue]
We found this one during our camper-van holiday in Tasmania.
Thank you for the Cache and greetings from Germany.

Have stopped here several time before heading down the bends. A great open area with plenty of room. Funny been West of Great Western Tiers. A return trip this way several weeks later gave the rest of my troop a chance to grab this one.

Found with Tassiegirl13 while down here on holidays from Queensland visiting the Tassie in-laws over the Christmas/ New Year period.
We were on a day trip up to the Great Lake area and called in the grab this one along the way.
It's a bit hard not to say the same thing in all the logs for the caches up here.
You see everyone almost has a fantastic view, including this one.
Since there was plenty of room here to park the car we decided to stay a little longer so we had morning tea and just took it all in.

After having visited the Liffy falls we continued our way up the mountains. Here we did a quick stop to serach this cache. Our friends found it even before we were at GZ. Thank you for this cache.

TFTC white Warriors. Stopped for a great view, turned on phone and wham a geocache.
Spotted this cache container as we pulled up as it was very exposed. My fingers were that cold that I had to return to the van to sign the log and get the lid back on. As there were plenty of rocks around we replaced it and covered it a little better than we found it. Thanks.
Found on the way to the NW coast for a caching weekend. Spotted obvious location for GZ from car which we were very happy about because it was sooo cold. TFTC
Another quick find on our day of caching in the Lakes area. Just as well as it was getting colder by the moment. What happened to the lovely day? TFTC
Hi Monty&Tylo

I was on my way to Sheffield and then the Walls of Jerusalem and collected a few caches on the way. This was an easy find so was quickly logged. TFTC Monty&Tylo.
With the Weather Bureau threatening rain from mid afternoon, we decided to head to the Great Lake area at around lunch time to look for two caches. When we arrived the weather was glorious - the occasional cloud in a clear blue sky and a gentle breeze. What rain? We know that things can change quickly on the Central Plateau but the next two hours looked very good. As we pulled up and opened the car doors, two bumblebees were very persistent about wanting to get in - had they seen the forecast too? The views down the valley to the north and north-east were quite spectacular - certainly a very good place to stop. Our GPS took us to a particular spot where a careful search led to a very securely located cache - a very good hide with accurate coordinates. The cache and contents were in good condition. As we drove away there was even less cloud, even to the far west. If rain was coming, it was a long way off. Thanks Monty&Tylo for another very well hidden cache in a great location. Earns a favourite from us.
{*FTF*} First to find on our way home to the Lake, nothing like a good view and a clean log TFTC, TN but left new pencil on log, TFTC
