TFTC, got it on our second look. Excellent hiding, co-ordinates surprisingly perfect.
Attempted to do this cache as the cafe was closed and I had been doing my fundraising kms along the new section of the Fernleigh track. I even had called a previous finder of the cache but I struggled with it. I have lost times I have tried to look for the cache.
After a little bit of a pointer, I was able to finally lay my hands on it. I was looking around that area, but missed it. Bigger than I thought it would be. TFTC

A bit of construction going in here at the moment.I think the cache is behind the fencing, but I could be wrong
Found with help from a past finder. The cache was under its camo but was also buried. I needed a stick to find it then it took about 5 mins to dig around it so I could retrieve it. I return it under it camo however did not bury it as found but it is hidden well. There is a fence there at the moment but you dont have to go behind the fence. Thank you for the hide.
Was with SLElliott today grabbing a few Fernleigh track caches after some lunch. We had started here but decided to go to the furthest point first and get this last on the way back to the car. We think we found GZ as it made sense with the clue and other peoples logs but it didnt help that was a fence around near where we were looking so I dont know if we were on the right side of the fence. We will come back another time
Originally found back in September of last year we forgot to log & decided to come back and log and add a sticker and swap tftf
Took a while but got it after thinking through the clue. Thanks and fav point
Ended up needing to PAF for this one and they confirmed that I had missed it. Shoot I already looked there. Sneaky sneaky. Doing Fernleigh track on the bike and grabbing a couple caches on the way. TFTC!
Found with newby Princesswhiskas. This seemed like it was going to be a DNF. A few muggles around but because it was an open space it made it a little easier. Persistence paid off. TFTC
No luck with this one, on to the next! Hopefully next time Im up this way Ill find it.. thanks!
With not a lot of caches close to home to find we are down here for our granddaughter’s birthday and needing to find some caches with good favorite points for the extra points for this months challenge. We are staying just 184 meters from this cache so it was a definite choice. Now this is not an easy hide to find. Very challenging. We spent a bit of time with what the clues might be hinting at. In the end a natures TOTT assisted us in making the find and we very happily signed the log. Thanks for bringing us here with your cache. There’s quite a bit of history to learn and we enjoyed the way it was presented.
Cheers and happy caching!!

Nice challenge on this one. We gave up but decided to go back for a last look, missed it so many times before finding it TFTC

Today was my first outing on the bike since busting my ribs. Seems some exercise was required Good coords made most of the (popular) Track finds fairly easy. There were a few doozys in the mix Later in the day I met the CO on the way back. It was most satisfying to get the wind in my face as I hammered the trail.
My second look here This time the CO was present. I’d figured out the clue but was a little off base. Today with the bikes shielding me from nearby muggles, I found this sneaky (evil) hide
TFTC colleda Dropping off a **FAVE** You’ve kept me entertained today.

Look for so long was about to give up, sat down and felt around and bam I had my hands on the cache. This one was sneaky, very well deserving of the difficulty rating haha
This one was really tricky! Took a good while but managed to find with the help of the hint.
This location is close to my work. After 4 attempts this week I finally found. Log very wet. TFTC
OMG that’s a tough find. Out geocaching with Techsavvy9 today and she gave me a bit of a nudge. A great hide. Trust the coordinates
Fourth time I’ve been here and failed:(. And this time I had hints and still no luck. This one is a beast
After many attempts and going over the same spots with a fine tooth comb… I finally found it. It was one of the first places I originally looked and nearly missed it again! Just because I wasn’t paying enough attention. So glad I can finally check this one off. TFTC

I'm just loving riding the Fernleigh Track. What a gem this is.
Out and about with Rama497 and Skybomonkeytown.
This is my second time riding the track as I enjoyed it a few weeks ago following the GCNSW event.
We missed a few as time was moving on and I was getting hungry for lunch. Now this was a tricky one that had us scratching our heads for a little while as we worked out the clue, which is a very good one I might add. My fingers found the well hidden container.
I'll be back. I want to ride this track again!!!
Thanks for hiding this cache colleda.

C62 came up with the goods at this one. Not in the vegetation meant it has to be somewhere else, and it was!

Today Calypso62, SkyMonkey and I made our way up from Sydney to Adamstown by train to ride our push bikes down the Fernleigh Track to Belmont and then ride around Lake Macquarie to Booragul train station for the return journey home.
Last one for the day and the end of the track. We did not collect all the caches on the way today, so we will be back one day.

It took a few minutes but I methodically searched the area until I made the find. TFTC

After attending the Fernleigh event organized by Geocaching NSW, it was time to mount our bikes and cycle our way from Adamstown to Belmont. It was a slow descending track, and the dedicated bicycle path over the former railroad track made for a very enjoyable ride, and we could enjoy the nature around the track.
After lunch at Lake Mac, it was time to cycle back to Adamstown. But slowly uphill with head wind proved to be quite tiring.
To release out aching muscles we stopped for a few caches along the way.

This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 11982.
Found this with Tram Canary and Calypso under the watchful eye of the cache owner. It took a while to locate.
Thanks colleda for the cache.

After searching unsuccesfully, I messaged the CO, then headed off to find #1.
Found that, then returned to #0 to look again.
Before the CO could reply I had CIH, SL, returned as found.

Spent a while looking around, just about to leave and bingo, right where I was thinking! Great clue. TFTC!
TFTC. I spent way too long searching for this but I wasn’t going to let it beat me. Eventually put away my phone and used my instincts and I found the little b———-. Now that was sneaky. Love the history here.
Cache was thrown into the bush a little bit I tried putting it back around the cords
Forgot to log the other day. We came on sunset and found visibility very difficult, DNF but will certainly back to re try soon
I was able to avenge my DNF while on the walk. I had a pretty good idea what the hint meant and CO confirmed it. I made an instant find upon my return from the six caches. It was a really good walk and I’m glad it wasn’t terribly hot although I still needed my hydration pack along the way. Such a lovely track and even though I’ve only done a third today I’m excited to do other parts at a later date. Thankyou for placing the caches along here otherwise I wouldn’t come out…. That’s just exercise hahaha!

Forgot to log 02.01.22 as phone ran outta battery. There were four of us scouring the area for the cache but didn’t find it. Must be sneaky
What a wonderful opportunity to have the time to walk this Trail today.
We could read from previous logs that this one was a tricky find and eventually we decided to send a message to the CO,
who responded straight away, and was most helpful.
Upon our return, we had another look but this one was too well hidden for us today.
Thanks Colleda
A really great series.

Checked today and cache is still in place although natural camo has obscured it somewhat along with an item in the hint. I have cleared GZ to make it a bit easier.
Again had a bit of a look for it on the way in and a long look just before finishing. Read the hint and figured out what it meant (I thought). Went and looked there and then further and further around. Feel like I should have found it but nothing and eventually gave up.
Found on Second attempt. I attempted this some years back. Got you this tome you little blighted!!!
Log all good and a little moist but still able to write on it.
SL took TB
Fav point

After several attempts finally found with the grandies and my sister and fellow gamer Argy Margy. TFTC.
TFTC gave it a Fav. Dropped travel bug. Had hoped to deliver this bug back to Europe last year but the global pandemic prevented that.
I’ve been attending night school nearby, twice a week for about a year, and today we had a job on at Toukley so I decided to come straight to TAFE this arvo after knock-off. I grabbed some take-out and sat at the old Belmont train station here at GZ for dinner ...and then avenged my DNF here from about 3 years ago. Life is so very different from then; COVID, yet another career, and a little more cache find experience! This one is well hidden. I SL but noticed not everyone logging the cache is doing that. Yes I flipped back and yes some recent claimers are not logged. Cmon people! TFTC, colleda.

It was a DNF for us in a very rainy day actually 14/3/21. Too wet to search hard it’s not fog in the pic of the geokids, it’s rain!!
Had a few attempts on this cache before, and today I finally found it. Really well hidden hence which it took so long and so many tries. TFTC!!! #1786
Second day of caching in Newcastle and surround before making my way home south via the Entrance in the late afternoon. Again perfect weather today and a light breeze. A quick find here along the track

Accidentally logged this as a DNF (see previous log), but we did find it. Tricky, but well spotted by my son.
Out today to avenge some of my previous DNFs along the Fernleigh Trail and, after a bit of unfruitful searching, finally struck paydirt in a spot where I was expecting it might be. Fortunately there weren't any muggles close by to interrupt my searching. Sadly the container is letting in a bit of water and the logbook was slightly damp in spite of the double bagging.
Many thanks for the hide and the series. I took the Deaduino Nano TB to move on, but it doesn't seem to be in the cache's inventory so I'll wait a bit to log it in case its current holder hasn't yet logged their drop here.

Was exactly where we thought it would be, but very well hidden! Had to be very careful of muggles in this spot. Dropped a TB. TFTC!
