We obviously started this series from the wrong end since this is find number 15 of 17 attempted today. Deciding to finish as many of these that we could before they are all archived, we appreciate the amount of work that went into setting these up, and maintaining them up to now. We certainly saw a lot of different scenery in our travels today, thanks very much.

16-Jul-15
Thank you! Have just recently seen these, and will try to find them before they disappear.

Had solved a few of these and dropped in to pick up a couple of them. Thanks for the series.

Out in the area today with 30 minutes to kill before a meeting.
I always try to grab some of this series as I know their days are numbered

10-Jun-15
Nice quick find here this afternoon and relatively few people around. Using a spare hour in the area to tackle a few more caches in this series. Thank you for the hide .K.B.

21-Mar-15
A nice quick find here but as per the previous log the paper is wet and needs replacing.

I'm looking forward to meeting other geocachers at WA GOES BIG IN 2015, in Busselton.

Registrations are now open - log your 'Will Attend' at GC5GR5X

Found on an early morning bike ride. Have only recently learnt how to do suduko puzzles, so now I'm trying to knock over this series before they are archived. This one took a bit of searching for as there are quite a few likely places in and around the tree. I was convinced it was hiding in the tree, up high. After exhausting the higher up possibilities, I turned my attention to the lower bits and this too was frustrating as there were so many dog walkers about. Finally found the tin, and the log is totally sodden and so I could not sign it. I have attached a photo instead. Thanks for the series of puzzles and caches .K.B.

18-Dec-14
During my work and travel year in Australia I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge. Having a moving home zone should make this definitely way easier.

Today I planned to get the Oz Mega 2014 series, before it decays even more and probably gets archived. Most of the caches of the series were found and some of the tradis around as well.

This cache could need some maintenance..

TFTC and greetings from Germany

17-Dec-14
Found on a big geoday with the sis and the geokids TFTC log saturated so could not sign Sad aka dougfam

14-Dec-14
I had the whole morning to myself and what better way to spend it than going for a bike ride and picking up a few caches. The log was wet but if there's to be no maintenance and archived I guess it doesn't matter. TFTC.

07-Dec-14
Solved the puzzle many months ago, and decided to visit GZ today. Perfect time of year! Nices easy find.

12-Nov-14
The tree has been severely cut back giving the cache no shelter any more. Log was sopping wet but my magic pen still left my mark. Tftc kb

02-Nov-14
log was saturated so couldn't log our visit. Tfts. find 18/22 for today with TeagzD97

30-Oct-14
Find 4 of 21 in the Oz Mega 2014 series.
Saw the warnings about the series being archived so we sprung into action with a flurry of puzzle printing and solving so that we would be ready for our bike ride around the area today. Spent a couple of hours on lovely quiet roads and in quiet parks steadily working through the series, all quick finds apart from one DNF. An excellent series, thanks for all the caches .K.B.

25-Oct-14
I've decided to visit this area and to find all caches in this series. I managed it and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the caches and greetings from Slovakia.

18-Oct-14
Nice sunny Saturday morning for start of the hunt for the last bunch of Oz Mega caches. The log was damp but was able to sign the waterproof paper.

12-Oct-14
What a tantalising series ... And what a relief to have finally solved them all! Thanks for the fun! We had a fun family outing to find this series broken for many a play and cuppa and cake break.

Loved the little people statues nearby

Half of the FFLL team is out of Canberra traveling for work this week. We solved this series before she left Canberra in the hope of getting a ferw. After completing her presentations for the day, she headed out with a muggle friend who helped with the finds.

TFTC and for placing this series .K.B.

30-Aug-14
Solved all the puzzles for the Oz Mega series a while ago and had the opportunity today to see how many I could track down. Manged to have ago at all 23 plus a couple of others, ended up with two DNF's on the series and one not attempted due to muggle activity.

Most were fairly straight forward finds with one or two tricky ones thrown in. All the co-ords seemed to be spot on, thanks for putting the series together KB, I visited a lot of great spots that I didn't know existed.

A short stroll to this one from the cricket nets for a quick find. That's better!

TFTC! In the nedlands area to cleanup some of the OZ mega series. Having a caching goal to find more puzzles caches this half of the year this series will help with my lack of puzzle solving abilities. Got to this one just in time as I found the tin out on the ground and have replaced it at the base of the tree under lead litter. Still in good nick. Thanks

23-Jun-14
I took the liberty of parking close by, given the sun was rapidly disappearing and there was no traffic on the road. Out of the seat, I moved in to GZ and swiftly spotted the hiding spot. Out with the container and log, I added my name, tucked it back and followed my path back to the car.

Cheers .K.B.

Out for some night caching with helbren this cache was out in the open so recovered it, tftc

14-Jun-14
mr and mrs Helbren went to the Kardy for dinner and drinks with mr Helbrens sister Troutsky we then popped down to freo to find a few caches with 1 find and 4 dnf's we thought we would try our luck elsewhere, i had the final coords saved in my phone so off we went to do some of this series at 9:30pm and boy its a nice cold night and glad i wore my hoodie to keep the old noggin warm, thanks for the series (and sorry for cute and paste logs)

13-Jun-14
Nice quick find. Thanks!

P.S. Beat you to it Dan!!

11-Jun-14
I parked my car at the other end of the park, and did a walk around the entire park/oval to find this cache and the other nearby ones. This one was a quick and easy find, which was great after DNFing on #2.

Thanks for the cache and the series .K.B.!

08-Jun-14
Sad to say that despite all early good intentions, life changes interfered and I was unable to make it to the Mega this year. However all these puzzles to add to the puzzle stats is most welcome. I attempted them all, and found most, with 1 unable to get to because it was surrounded by muggles, and 4 unable to be found.
The rain held off and despite all my finds being micros, they were mostly easy finds, most were found with wonderful views, beaches and parklands along the magnificent Swan River. A most rewarding afternoon of sightseeing. Many thanks, K.B.

07-Jun-14
Had a free day as Mrs K was busy doing reports so decided a trip to Perth was in order to attend one of the WWFM events and then do the OZ Mega series and a few others in the area along the way.
I solved all the puzzles before we went to the Mega so I thought it was about time to get these done Wink
In the end I ran out of time so didn't get them all done so will have to find another free day soon.

Found a dummy cache first up, which after a bit of thought did not seem right. A bit more searching found the cache in keeping with others and log subsequently signed.

Thanks for the cache .K.B. [^]

28-May-14
Final day in Perth today and managed to get away early from 'work' to grab the rest of this series. Collected them one by one driving along and then was still able to get to the airport in time. Great little puzzle and nice area. Thanx for the series.

24-May-14
I solved the puzzles for these caches soon after they were published and they've been on the radar ever since. After chatting to CO at Chwiliwr's event yesterday, I decided that today would be the day, so I did these and a few traditionals in the area with only one DNF on this series and one other DNF for the day, with 31 finds ... and i just realised that the other DNF (GC43KYR) has been archived ... I think I need to run my pocket queries more frequently!

Quick find here and didn't need the torch, but all the mint tin contained was a mushy ex-log. Replaced with a new bag and log, which I was first to sign.

Signed the log. Thanks for the hide .K.B.

12-May-14
Cache remains in tree although I didn't dare open it cause I can't stand anymore wet log maintenance requests at the moment!

29-Apr-14
Looped by to grab the temporary cache. Quick find but the rain has had an effect on the log. SL TFTC

25-Apr-14
Attend the dawn service this morning and decided to do some geocaching in the area while waiting to go to work at 12 noon, I work out the puzzle earlier in the week to do today, I was in the area and had a spare mint tin to put in place ...TFTC

14-Apr-14
Can only assume it's missing. Am in Murray Bridge so won't be attending to this for a few weeks.

14-Apr-14
Another day, another couple of finds (or not) from this series. Had a good scratch around but no joy.

13-Apr-14
Seeing we (BettyBoo3747 and I) aren't going to make it to the Mega (working Easter!) we drove around this series and added to our puzzle collection. Grab a few others on the way.
We had varied fortunes on a sunny Sunday - no parking fees and easy parking, but a couple of spots muggled out.
Found a good tree, and a good look, but found no cache.
Went back to the car and checked our co-ords, but they seemed to be OK.
That stuffed our nearly perfect record!
Thanks, Robmc.

13-Apr-14
Mmmm, our first official DNF of the series. We were muggled out of searching for two others. So here - we came, we searched, we re-checked and re-searched and did not conquer!!

02-Apr-14
The geohubby worked all the co-ords out on monday night so we decided we would head out this morning and pick them all up.
All the caches were found without problems as the hints gave a great description of where to look and find them all.
We enjoyed doing the series and it only took us about 3 hours to complete and in that time we even stopped for a coffee break at the tea rooms near one of the caches. TFTC .K.B.

30-Mar-14
Made an early start today, hoping to find all the Oz Mega 2014 series before heading up into the hills for the Earthcache Event. This was the twentieth stop for the day. Quick find. Thanks .K.B.

28-Mar-14
Out with Dr.ibl and N Delfos for a late night caching run in Dalkeith to pick up the Oz mega Puzzle caches we did 22 puzzle caches and a couple of traditionals
Only Puzzle cache we couldn't do was 10 as there were people fishing 3 mts both times we went past and this was 1 am

Thanks for some great hides K.B

We spotted this series last night and as we will need the practice before heading to the OzMega quickly attempted the puzzles and acquired some promising data. Having finished my dental appointment by 1230 it was off to Hacket drive area to start on this series. Attempted 23 caches today without any DNF's. This is typical of KB's caches. Coordinates are always good and the cache placed with the intention that it be found an enjoyable experience. Good job KB well worth another fav from us. Please excuse the copy and paste logs.
Thanks for the series KB

25-Mar-14
I headed out to the area this morning with Skippy46 to do this series, after seeing it on a facebook post.
Lucky for me she had completed all the puzzles.

We had a very successful day with 21 finds. All were easily found and in great condition.
On approach to the cache I saw what I thought was a very small person standing by the road, on closer approach I released they were little statues. They were so cool!

Thanks for the cache K.B.

25-Mar-14
hahaha from the direction we approached from, MNS13 thought that some little people were hanging around GZ.
Turns out she was correct, except they were pieces of very interesting art.
After retrieving the cache and signing the log, we went for a closer look at the little people.

It was a beautiful day to head out with the kids for some bike riding, & of course to find some caches along the way Smile I had solved these puzzles during the week & thought that the kids would enjoy getting out to find them... This was the last one for us in this area & we wandered to GZ with m4yb & megawat60, chatting along the way [^] It was m4yb to discover the hide, which was left to Master 2 to "find"... He was very excited & eagerly passed the log to m4yb for signing Big Grin

TFTC .K.B. Big Grin We have now said our good-byes & I notice that more Oz-Mega's are being published Surprised Oh dear, what will I do now [?]

Mrs richlink was on a lightening trip to Perth to attend an appointment so we decided to team up to grab some caches before she headed off home. We had solved the first few in this series previously but solved the newly published ones on the run.
Thanks .K.B. for a group of sensible puzzle caches which didn’t hurt the brain and hides which could be retrieved easily with out alerting the thousands of Muggles who enjoy the river after work.

20-Mar-14
Had a quick trip to Perth for an appointment in Nedlands so contacted iluvtrekking to join me to grab some of this new series. Some puzzles had already been solved but some were published while heading to Perth so we were plugging in new co-ords for the later ones while doing the rounds. Looks like we were hot of the tail of SpatialRiq but didn't catch up with him. Thanks KB for a neat series. The others to come will have to wait for a future trip.

Woohoo *FTF* @ 11:35am.

Saw these published just as I was arriving at work in Floreat this morning so set about solving them all over morning tea. Luckily they didn't take too long so set out for an early lunch.

Quick find here. Love the series idea as I'll be getting no close to the mega than here. TFTC.

Dropped in a path tag too.
