I was in the area and I decided to find a couple of cache's. I had solved these puzzles a few months ago. I decided on a route to take and set off. This cache was the third closest after parking the car close by. I wandered around GZ looking for the cache for about a couple of minutes until I found it in a spot I thought I'd checked it. It was a nice day to be out caching all these cache's were nice and easy finds.

.K.B., I found your cache 'Oz Mega 2014 #12' today. It was the third of eleven finds (and I only had one DNF). The cache was found in good condition, and so I signed the log book and replaced it as I found it. This cache brings my total count to 258. Thanks for the cache. Very cool design.

The description was good but as usual I chose the wrong side to start searching, so Muggle Hubby claimed the find on this one. Thanks for introducing us to streets we would not normally have travelled

Thank you! Recently discovered this series, so I thought I go out and do them before they disappear. Found all but two.

This was my sixth and last find of this series this afternoon during my spare hour around Nedlands/Dalkeith. This one was very well hidden but still there. Thank you for the cache .K.B.

12-Apr-15
No luck on this one... There were some fishing muggles around GZ so we didn't have a very good opportunity to look around. The fishing muggles also had two dogs, so whether LORON did any looking at all.......

Found on an early morning bike ride. I am very keen to complete all remaining caches in this series as I see they're soon to be archived. This was a quick and easy find (although took a little bit of digging around in the fork of the tree) and it was a nicely secluded location out of sight of passers-by. Thanks for this series of caches .K.B.

During my work and travel year in Australia I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge. Having a moving home zone should make this definitely way easier.

Today I planned to get the Oz Mega 2014 series, before it decays even more and probably gets archived. Most of the caches of the series were found and some of the tradis around as well.

TFTC and greetings from Germany

I had the whole morning to myself and what better way to spend it than going for a bike ride and picking up a few caches. The log book was full on this and a few others in the series nearby. TFTC.

Yes, like others I've had these worked out for a while now... thought i'd better find them before the archive, time to go searching...

Find 15 of 21 in the Oz Mega 2014 series.
Saw the warnings about the series being archived so we sprung into action with a flurry of puzzle printing and solving so that we would be ready for our bike ride around the area today. Spent a couple of hours on lovely quiet roads and in quiet parks steadily working through the series, all quick finds apart from one DNF. An excellent series, thanks for all the caches .K.B.

I've decided to visit this area and to find all caches in this series. I managed it and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the caches and greetings from Slovakia.

What a tantalising series ... And what a relief to have finally solved them all! Thanks for the fun! We had a fun family outing to find this series broken for many a play and cuppa and cake break.

Half of the FFLL team is out of Canberra traveling for work this week. We solved this series before she left Canberra in the hope of getting a ferw. After completing her presentations for the day, she headed out with a muggle friend who helped with the finds.

30-Aug-14
Solved all the puzzles for the Oz Mega series a while ago and had the opportunity today to see how many I could track down. Manged to have ago at all 23 plus a couple of others, ended up with two DNF's on the series and one not attempted due to muggle activity.

Most were fairly straight forward finds with one or two tricky ones thrown in. All the co-ords seemed to be spot on, thanks for putting the series together KB, I visited a lot of great spots that I didn't know existed.

A quick find here.

Out with the kids making most of a beautiful day I had solved some of these mystery caches when they were first released, but last night I decided it was time to knock them off.

We have got a few to go but time is getting away from us, sent the kids in for this one while I kept watch.
Nice area, thanks for the cache K.B.

I had the day off to attending a family wedding, so I had a few spare hours to go for a walk along the river and find some caches that have been on my hit list for a while. A perfect morning for some geocaching. This one took a little longer, but after some closer inspection it all became clear. TFTC kb

Thinking I knew better, I ignored the SatNav on approach to this cache and found out after a walk down the path, that I could have made the approach a whole lot easier than I did... I tend to do that quite often... Twisted Maybe when caching interstate, I should learn to trust a computer a little more often... Wink

Thankfully, the additional time it took to get to gz was not extended once there and I quickly had the cache in hand. No messing around, I added my name to the log, tucked it back and hot footed it back up to the car. Naturally I found myself driving within 2m about 5 minutes later... Twisted

Cheers .K.B.

In the area for an appointment, so decided to retry some previously sought in vain caches in the area, and to complete the Oz Mega series. And this one is the Lucky last of the series! I was wondering where this one was as it hadn't shown up previously when doing the rest of the series and I missed it on the last sweep. After doing a search in the GPS I found it located 101km away! I had put the numbers in wrong, so redid the puzzle and soon had the correct gz, and after some more backtracking the spoils were collected.
So then it was back home again for a hot coffee and to thaw out next to the fireplace.
Thanks for the cache and the series K.B.

11-Jun-14
After initially trying to park on the wrong side of the fence, I found better parking outside, and headed into the bushes for a quick find here. There were a few people around walking and cycling today, but I managed a gap in the traffic to find the cache.

Thanks for the cache and the series .K.B.!

07-Jun-14
Had a free day as Mrs K was busy doing reports so decided a trip to Perth was in order to attend one of the WWFM events and then do the OZ Mega series and a few others in the area along the way.
I solved all the puzzles before we went to the Mega so I thought it was about time to get these done Wink
In the end I ran out of time so didn't get them all done so will have to find another free day soon.

Thanks for the cache .K.B. [^]

Final day in Perth today and managed to get away early from 'work' to grab the rest of this series. Collected them one by one driving along and then was still able to get to the airport in time. Great little puzzle and nice area. Thanx for the series.

24-May-14
I solved the puzzles for these caches soon after they were published and they've been on the radar ever since. After chatting to CO at Chwiliwr's event yesterday, I decided that today would be the day, so I did these and a few traditionals in the area with only one DNF on this series and one other DNF for the day, with 31 finds.

Another quick find, a muggle couple walked past just as I was signing the log ... they didn't notice me even though they walked within a metre and a half of where I was standing pretending to be texting ... I think I would have looked a bit weird had they noticed me. Signed the log. Thanks for the hide .K.B

19-May-14
Out for an evening of caching with Kyzabra and thought we'd make a start on the arrow. It was a nice evening and we decided to walk and get through as many as possible. Unfortunately we couldn't grab them all so the rest will be for another evening. Thanks for the caches and apologies for the copy and paste logs :-/

14-May-14
I had solved these puzzles some time ago and tonight headed out with J&J_45 to make a start on the series.
We had a nice walk along the river grabbing a good number of the series and a few other nearby.
Thankls for putting this geo-art together KB.
We will return to complete our arrow.

11-May-14
Lots of people in the car parks to dodge but got to the cache eventually. Thanks

Attend the dawn service this morning and decided to do some geocaching in the area while waiting to go to work at 12 noon, I work out the puzzle earlier in the week to do today, I had to wait for a dog to finish drinking and the muggle to move on before getting this one...TFTC

Great Series! Solved the puzzle(s) yesterday and popped out this morning to bag the one's that didn't have muggles nearby. What a beautiful day! Thanks for the caches.

13-Apr-14
Seeing we (BettyBoo3747 and I) aren't going to make it to the Mega (working Easter!) we drove around this series and added to our puzzle collection. Grab a few others on the way.
We had varied fortunes on a sunny Sunday - no parking fees and easy parking, but a couple of spots muggled out.
Nice yacht club, but no winds for the poor buggers trying to sail this morning.
I think we had collected three caches before the solo sailor made it the last 100 meters back to shore!
Thanks, Robmc.

# 6061. Day 2 of our caching foray around Perth. A beautiful Sunday morning and so many people out and about enjoying the great outdoors. Our aim this morning was to do the Oz Mega Series of 23 that we solved whilst waiting to board the ferry on Rottnest Island a couple of days ago. We also hoped to find some others that appeared on the radar as we drove around.

A lovely morning to float your boat - and there were plenty out there today. The ones with sails were having a hard time as there was no breeze as yet. Using the hint we soon had this hide to hand and continued on our way.

Thanks .K.B.

02-Apr-14
The geohubby worked all the co-ords out on monday night so we decided we would head out this morning and pick them all up.
All the caches were found without problems as the hints gave a great description of where to look and find them all.
We enjoyed doing the series and it only took us about 3 hours to complete and in that time we even stopped for a coffee break at the tea rooms near one of the caches. TFTC .K.B.

30-Mar-14
Made an early start today, hoping to find all the Oz Mega 2014 series before heading up into the hills for the Earthcache Event. This was the eighth stop for the day. Quick find. Thanks .K.B.

28-Mar-14
Out with Dr.ibl and N Delfos for a late night caching run in Dalkeith to pick up the Oz mega Puzzle caches we did 22 puzzle caches and a couple of traditionals
Only Puzzle cache we couldn't do was 10 as there were people fishing 3 mts both times we went past and this was 1 am

Thanks for some great hides K.B

Find number 3 of our second day of Perth-Oz Mega caches....
Here we parked the geojazz and started the geobike section of our day.
Happy to have a hint here so I didnt get too frustrated in my not-favourite trees.
TFTC and series K.B., great fun!

27-Mar-14
Onto find 3 in our Mega ? day, I was trying some new riding footwear, which didn't pass the grade so instead of hovering in slightly illegal parking spots, I rode back to change shoes. Back at GZ to have the find all wrapped up. Thanks KB.

26-Mar-14
We spotted this series last night and as we will need the practice before heading to the OzMega quickly attempted the puzzles and acquired some promising data. We attempted 23 caches today without any DNF's. This is typical of KB's caches. Coordinates are always good and the cache placed with the intention that it be found an enjoyable experience. Good job KB. Please excuse the copy and paste logs.
Thanks for the series KB

25-Mar-14
I headed out to the area this morning with Skippy46 to do this series, after seeing it on a facebook post.
Lucky for me she had completed all the puzzles.

We had a very successful day with 21 finds. All were easily found and in great condition.
On approach I managed to get tangled up in a tree and almost fell over, but managed to save myself. Haha nice quick find.

I forgot to mention on my other logs, that I left a lot of tags today, (in caches big enough to fit them)

Thanks for the cache K.B.

25-Mar-14
Another great clue led to a quick find again. Made more memorable by MNS13 tripping on an old tree root and millions of ants running out. It was a quick sign and return before we were dragged down into the ant colony and devoured. Big Grin

23-Mar-14
It was a beautiful day to head out with the kids for some bike riding, & of course to find some caches along the way Smile I had solved these puzzles during the week & thought that the kids would enjoy getting out to find them... After finding 1-4 this was the next closest Mega on the map, so it was chosen as our destination! Found a shady spot to pull up & make some lunch for my hungry mob... Not much time for rest though, I quickly solve #14 before leaving Master 2 to make the find here [^]

TFTC .K.B. Big Grin Master 2 was again very pleased with himself, so much so I am told to hurry up so we can find some more [:X]

Mrs richlink was on a lightening trip to Perth to attend an appointment so we decided to team up to grab some caches before she headed off home. We had solved the first few in this series previously but solved the newly published ones on the run.
Thanks .K.B. for a group of sensible puzzle caches which didn’t hurt the brain and hides which could be retrieved easily with out alerting the thousands of Muggles who enjoy the river after work.

20-Mar-14
Had an unexpected quick trip to Perth for an appointment in Nedlands so contacted iluvtrekking to join me to grab some of this new series. Some puzzles had already been solved but some were published while heading to Perth so we were plugging in new co-ords for the later ones while doing the rounds. Looks like we were hot of the tail of SpatialRiq but didn't catch up with him. Thanks KB for a neat series. The others to come will have to wait for a future trip.

Woohoo *FTF* @ 4:05pm.

Another Sudoku solved in the car and this time I was back tracking slightly. Quick find at GZ, although I'm now pretty sure the hints for #12 and #13 should be swapped around.

Back to the car for the last solve. TFTC.
