We had done about half the arrow on a previous visit so being in the area to day decided to finish it off along with one other nearby puzzle. A nice walk around some of the areas but we had 2 DNF's as did the previous searcher so suspect those caches are gone. All logs signed and caches re hid. TFTC
I was in the area and I decided to find a couple of cache's. I had solved these puzzles a few months ago. I decided on a route to take and set off. This cache was the fifth closest after parking the car close by. I wandered around GZ looking for the cache for about a couple of minutes until I found it in the only likely spot. It was a nice day to be out caching all these cache's were nice and easy finds.
.K.B., I found your cache 'Oz Mega 2014 #14' today. It was the fifth of eleven finds (and I only had one DNF). The cache was found in good condition, and so I signed the log book and replaced it as I found it. This cache brings my total count to 259. Thanks for the cache. Very cool design.

Found this cache during our 2 week trip around Australia.

Another of those occasions when Muggle Hubby approached from the opposite side to me and found it first, but I don't mind as long as it is found, signed and replaced. Thanks for this one., another smiley on my map
Thank you! Recently discovered this series, so I thought I go out and do them before they disappear. Found all but two.
Nice hiding spot! This was my second find out of 6 of this series this afternoon during my spare hour around Nedlands/Dalkeith. Thank you for the cache .K.B.
I was happy to grab another cache from the series. When I started doing the puzzles I did about three the I started second guessing the next number which you shouldn't be able to do. Then I realised why! A quick find here. TFTC .K.B
When AusLoron and I did these caches I was sick, so I decided to rely on her logs to prompt my memory about each cache when I logged it. I'm starting to think that may have been a mistake. Given I forgot to do the logs for over a month (i'm hanging my head in shame) I'm struggling to recall which cache number goes with which cache! I'm glad Lauren remembers what breed of dog she saw though :p
Ok, so another log mentions the nearby car park, which triggered a memory! I remember... That we walked past a soggy roll of carpet near GZ. I think I'll just take Loron's word that I found the cache, not her, and move on. Cheers

Still across from the dog park, so Elrin found it in seconds while I cooed over a Bernese Mountain Dog playing fetch. I really need to focus more!
Found on an early morning bike ride. I am very keen to complete all remaining caches in this series as I see they're soon to be archived. This was a quick find, although I needed to remain out of sight of 100-150 triathletes assembling nearby. Fortunately there was nobody parked in this little car park, which assisted me to easily locate the cache. Thanks for this series of caches .K.B.
I was out and about on an early morning caching run and this one was on the list.
A quick grab here between the passing muggles
I'm looking forward to meeting other geocachers at WA GOES BIG IN 2015, in Busselton.
Registrations are now open - log your 'Will Attend' at GC5GR5X
.K.B. - jinta29 found your cache Oz Mega 2014 #14 on 22/01/2015 5:48 am. This is my find #2739 and find #3 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

During my work and travel year in Australia I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge. Having a moving home zone should make this definitely way easier.
Today I planned to get the Oz Mega 2014 series, before it decays even more and probably gets archived. Most of the caches of the series were found and some of the tradis around as well.

I had the whole morning to myself and what better way to spend it than going for a bike ride and picking up a few caches. I was scratching my head trying to work out which # this cache was as I'd entered two of the final locations as 14 but which was the real 14? Found the cache so all was ok and have now found that it was 13 where I'd made the mistake. Still found that one ok as well. TFTC.
Yes, like others I've had these worked out for a while now... thought i'd better find them before the archive, time to go searching...

find 9/9 for today. made a mad dash and spent the day with the geokiddies trying to bump this series out before archiving. tfts. with teagzd97
Find 13 of 21 in the Oz Mega 2014 series.
Saw the warnings about the series being archived so we sprung into action with a flurry of puzzle printing and solving so that we would be ready for our bike ride around the area today. Spent a couple of hours on lovely quiet roads and in quiet parks steadily working through the series, all quick finds apart from one DNF. An excellent series, thanks for all the caches .K.B.

I've decided to visit this area and to find all caches in this series. I managed it and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the caches and greetings from Slovakia.
What a tantalising series ... And what a relief to have finally solved them all! Thanks for the fun! We had a fun family outing to find this series broken for many a play and cuppa and cake break.

In Perth for a few days for a wedding, today was the main time I could find a few caches.
I had solved some of these at home and set out to explore.

I got up early to find this series which I solved a few months back but never got around to collecting. It was a great morning to spent down by the river. Great series .K.B.
Out with wifey and the geodog today for this series and it was a good find by wifey TFTC
Decided to have a loooong lunch today and finish off this series.
I've been meaning to return and finish this series for some time, it was a spur of the moment thing but the weather was just looking too nice to be indoors all day.
This was the fourth of the 9 remaining and a quick find once at GZ. Talk about a park and grab. Got out of the car and found that the cache was only 5m away. Was soon signing the log. TFTC.

Half of the FFLL team is out of Canberra traveling for work this week. We solved this series before she left Canberra in the hope of getting a ferw. After completing her presentations for the day, she headed out with a muggle friend who helped with the finds.

Out and about to collect a few more of this series today. Most were an easy find but there were 1 or 2 that were a little more tricky. TFTC - Most logs are wet and or full and need replacing
TFTC! Up to Perth for a weekend with friends and family, with a small side stop to attend the event in Sorrento to claim the last of my 7SOA. Thanks
Solved all the puzzles for the Oz Mega series a while ago and had the opportunity today to see how many I could track down. Manged to have ago at all 23 plus a couple of others, ended up with two DNF's on the series and one not attempted due to muggle activity.
Most were fairly straight forward finds with one or two tricky ones thrown in. All the co-ords seemed to be spot on, thanks for putting the series together KB, I visited a lot of great spots that I didn't know existed.
Had to go straight past this one on the first pass as a muggle was parked right at GZ. When I returned he was still there so parked up as close as possible and went into stealth mode. I wonder what he thought I was doing behind his car.

A car parked right in front of the GZ. I was pretending taking photo then stealth snecky quickly to hold it in hand. TFTC.
Out with the kids making most of a beautiful day I had solved some of these mystery caches when they were first released, but last night I decided it was time to knock them off.
This is it for today, living the walk but we have to get back for dinner.
Nice area, thanks for the cache K.B.

I had the day off to attending a family wedding, so I had a few spare hours to go for a walk along the river and find some caches that have been on my hit list for a while. A perfect morning for some geocaching. Nice easy one this time. TFTC kb
This made a nice quick find after the previous couple of cache in the series proved a little awkward... OK, so it was my own fault, but let's not get into symantics... I was in and out in a couple of minutes at GZ and promptly back on the road to the next.
Cheers .K.B.

This was a quick and easy find in the obvious spot, just the way I like them. I managed to park right in front of the cache, and there were no other people around. Thanks for the cache and the series .K.B.!
Sad to say that despite all early good intentions, life changes interfered and I was unable to make it to the Mega this year. However all these puzzles to add to the puzzle stats is most welcome. I attempted them all, and found most, with 1 unable to get to because it was surrounded by muggles, and 4 unable to be found.
The rain held off and despite all my finds being micros, they were mostly easy finds, most were found with wonderful views, beaches and parklands along the magnificent Swan River. A most rewarding afternoon of sightseeing. Many thanks, K.B.

Had a free day as Mrs K was busy doing reports so decided a trip to Perth was in order to attend one of the WWFM events and then do the OZ Mega series and a few others in the area along the way.
I solved all the puzzles before we went to the Mega so I thought it was about time to get these done
In the end I ran out of time so didn't get them all done so will have to find another free day soon.
Thanks for the cache .K.B. [^]

Final day in Perth today and managed to get away early from 'work' to grab the rest of this series. Collected them one by one driving along and then was still able to get to the airport in time. Great little puzzle and nice area. Thanx for the series.
I solved the puzzles for these caches soon after they were published and they've been on the radar ever since. After chatting to CO at Chwiliwr's event yesterday, I decided that today would be the day, so I did these and a few traditionals in the area with only one DNF on this series and one other DNF for the day, with 31 finds.
This one took a little while to find as well ... eventually found it on the ground in plain view, apart from grass cover that has grown recently, about a metre from the nearest tree, which is where it I hid it as that seemed the logical place. Signed the log. Thanks for the hide .K.B.

I had solved these puzzles some time ago and tonight headed out with J&J_45 to make a start on the series.
We had a nice walk along the river grabbing a good number of the series and a few other nearby.
Thankls for putting this geo-art together KB.
We will return to complete our arrow.

Attend the dawn service this morning and decided to do some geocaching in the area while waiting to go to work at 12 noon, I work out the puzzle earlier in the week to do today, this one was exposed and I spotted it straight away...TFTC
Great Series! Solved the puzzle(s) yesterday and popped out this morning to bag the one's that didn't have muggles nearby. What a beautiful day! Thanks for the caches.
Back at the river on the geo-bike to find the rest of the Oz Mega caches.
Quick grab, TFTH.

Seeing we (BettyBoo3747 and I) aren't going to make it to the Mega (working Easter!) we drove around this series and added to our puzzle collection. Grab a few others on the way.
We had varied fortunes on a sunny Sunday - no parking fees and easy parking, but a couple of spots muggled out.
Some bigger boats playing off the shore here, but having no more success in their race.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 6063. Day 2 of our caching foray around Perth. A beautiful Sunday morning and so many people out and about enjoying the great outdoors. Our aim this morning was to do the Oz Mega Series of 23 that we solved whilst waiting to board the ferry on Rottnest Island a couple of days ago. We also hoped to find some others that appeared on the radar as we drove around.
Luckily there was enough parking for one small car at most of the places we visited today. Another quick find and on to the next one.
Thanks .K.B.

The geohubby worked all the co-ords out on monday night so we decided we would head out this morning and pick them all up.
All the caches were found without problems as the hints gave a great description of where to look and find them all.
We enjoyed doing the series and it only took us about 3 hours to complete and in that time we even stopped for a coffee break at the tea rooms near one of the caches. TFTC .K.B.

We had solved all the Oz Mega puzzles as they were published. We had already logged some a week ago and decided to complete the series on our way home south today - slight detour. Thanks KB for all the effort put into these caches - quick finds, easily assessable and some scenic locations as well.
Made an early start today, hoping to find all the Oz Mega 2014 series before heading up into the hills for the Earthcache Event. This was the tenth stop for the day. Quick find. Thanks .K.B.
Out with Dr.ibl and N Delfos for a late night caching run in Dalkeith to pick up the Oz mega Puzzle caches we did 22 puzzle caches and a couple of traditionals
Only Puzzle cache we couldn't do was 10 as there were people fishing 3 mts both times we went past and this was 1 am
Thanks for some great hides K.B

Another day, another couple of this series grabbed on the way home. Nice evening for it. SL TFTC KB
We spotted this series last night and as we will need the practice before heading to the OzMega quickly attempted the puzzles and acquired some promising data. We attempted 23 caches today without any DNF's. This is typical of KB's caches. Coordinates are always good and the cache placed with the intention that it be found an enjoyable experience. Good job KB. Please excuse the copy and paste logs.
Thanks for the series KB

I headed out to the area this morning with Skippy46 to do this series, after seeing it on a facebook post.
Lucky for me she had completed all the puzzles.
We had a very successful day with 21 finds. All were easily found and in great condition.
I left some tags in those caches big enough them.
Thanks for the cache K.B.

A very pleasant walk along the forshore, and nice to get away from muggles in this location. TFTC K.B.!
Nice walk along the river and a great series, hope we finish it in good time, thanks KB.

It was a beautiful day to head out with the kids for some bike riding, & of course to find some caches along the way Solving this one on the run, we made our way to GZ thinking we would still be beaten for 1st place by others enjoying this beautiful day, but to my surprise we were the first!
TFTC .K.B. Cache was found after investigating another spot first... DangerMouse09 believes it was he who came up with the goods
