searched many trees around gz including a vey large gumtree which had a beehive in it with hundreds of bees. So guess this ne needs archiving as well.
Another one of this series knocked off opportunistically on the way to work. Thank you
I am finally getting around to grabbing these solved puzzles .
A nice hide here and thankfully we had no trouble adding our name to the log book. TFTC .
.K.B. - jinta29 found your cache Oz Mega 2014 #15 on 25/01/2016, 10:15 AM. This is my find #4902 and find #15 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!
Have you logged your WILL ATTEND for WA GOES BIG in 2016[?]
I have and am looking forward to seeing lots of other cachers in Pinjarra on the WA Day long weekend.

What an expedition to get this one. Crossed multiple fairways by mistake, dodging wayward golf balls and angry golfers... Fortunately a quick find once we eventually reached GZ! Tftc
We had done about half the arrow on a previous visit so being in the area to day decided to finish it off along with one other nearby puzzle. A nice walk around some of the areas but we had 2 DNF's as did the previous searcher so suspect those caches are gone. All logs signed and caches re hid. TFTC
Found it on the grass. Rehid it in the nearby tree with a bit of camo. Tftc
I was in the area and I decided to find a couple of cache's. I had solved these puzzles a few months ago. I decided on a route to take and set off. It took a while to find my way to a parking spot but I eventually found it. I walked to the GZ and found the mint tin lying on the ground with a stiff log book. I put it back in the spot that I thought it had come from, but the C.O may have to check it. It was a nice day to be out caching all these cache's were nice and easy finds.
.K.B., I found your cache 'Oz Mega 2014 #15' today. It was the eighth of eleven finds (and I only had one DNF). The cache was found in good condition, and so I signed the log book and replaced it as I found it. This cache brings my total count to 263. Thanks for the cache. I found a golf ball at GZ too.

Found this cache during our 2 week trip around Australia.
Nice and easy find!

Solved the puzzle readily and finally found time today to hunt it down. Coords were good to go and we found this cache without too much ado. Tftc!

Nice quick find here this morning. Back after a few weeks leave and using a spare hour in Nedlands to grab a couple more from this series. The cache was quite exposed so I tried to re-hide it a little bit better. The log is fairly wet. Thank you for the cache .K.B.
Muggle Hubby was quite at home here, he has an affinity for golf courses so he was far too busy to help me look for caches here, he was too busy admiring his surroundings and wishing he has his clubs with him. Meanwhile I quickly found and signed the log. Thanks for bringing us here
Thank you! Recently discovered this series, so I thought I go out and do them before they disappear. Found all but two.
Found the cache & a golf ball so we improvised with my walking stick as a club & had a quick game. Mac made friends with George & they had a good romp. TFTC
I picked the coldest part of the coldest morning of the year so far to ride my bike here to make the find. It was 2.3 degrees when I arrived at the cache. The recent find by another cacher gave me the confidence to return for another look. I can't believe I did not find this one back in February. The log is very damp, but I found a dry(ish) page to sign. I would have put the cache in a ziplock bag but I did not have one with me. It would remain very damp in a bag anyway. I guess the recent heavy rain last weekend has made everything wet, including the mush that the tin sits in. Thanks for the cache .K.B.
Managed to track down quite swiftly and just missed an absolute barrage of rain.

Had a good scratch around and in the most likely trees at GZ and nearby. Nothing to be found. I'll only be back if I see a confirmed find. The cache may get archived before I'm back.
During my work and travel year in Australia I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge. Having a moving home zone should make this definitely way easier.
Today I planned to get the Oz Mega 2014 series, before it decays even more and probably gets archived. Most of the caches of the series were found and some of the tradis around as well.

I had the whole morning to myself and what better way to spend it than going for a bike ride and picking up a few caches. TFTC.
Yes, like others I've had these worked out for a while now... thought i'd better find them before the archive, time to go searching...
Trying to avoid being seen by the cricketing muggles i tied my shoe and made the find.

DNF unfortunately. so 13/14 for today. made a mad dash and spent the day with the geokiddies trying to bump this series out before archiving. tfts. with teagzd97
Find 17 of 21 in the Oz Mega 2014 series.
Saw the warnings about the series being archived so we sprung into action with a flurry of puzzle printing and solving so that we would be ready for our bike ride around the area today. Spent a couple of hours on lovely quiet roads and in quiet parks steadily working through the series, all quick finds apart from one DNF. An excellent series, thanks for all the caches .K.B.

I've decided to visit this area and to find all caches in this series. I managed it and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the caches and greetings from Slovakia.
What a tantalising series ... And what a relief to have finally solved them all! Thanks for the fun! We had a fun family outing to find this series broken for many a play and cuppa and cake break.
Our last find of the afternoon... Found some golf balls and giggled at the frustrated golfer nearby ... Obviously not having as rewarding a day as us!

In Perth for a few days for a wedding, today was the main time I could find a few caches.
I had solved some of these at home and set out to explore.

I got up early to find this series which I solved a few months back but never got around to collecting. It was a great morning to spent down by the river. Great series .K.B.
Quick find with no one around on golf course or oval. Thanks for the series KB.
I had a spare moment to myself this evening as no-one was expecting me home, so I decided to hunt for a cache on the way home. And why not knock over another of the OZ Mega series? It was quite dark when I found it so there was no need to worry about any stray golf balls. It was a quick find given the description. Tftc KB
The last one of the series for me, this one was missing last time I came to look for it. Thanks for replacing it
I found two and a half golf balls around as well, and chucked them back over onto the green (not the half one).
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache .K.B.!

Out with wifey and the geodog today for this series and it was a good find by wifey as usual as well as our 100th cache while doing this series TFTC
Decided to have a loooong lunch today and finish off this series.
I've been meaning to return and finish this series for some time, it was a spur of the moment thing but the weather was just looking too nice to be indoors all day.
This was the first of the 9 remaining and a quick find once at GZ. Parked at the nearby club house and wandered over the deserted oval ... great views from here. TFTC.

Out and about to collect a few more of this series today. Most were an easy find but there were 1 or 2 that were a little more tricky. TFTC - Most logs are wet and or full and need replacing
TFTC! Up to Perth for a weekend with friends and family, with a small side stop to attend the event in Sorrento to claim the last of my 7SOA. Thanks
Solved all the puzzles for the Oz Mega series a while ago and had the opportunity today to see how many I could track down. Manged to have ago at all 23 plus a couple of others, ended up with two DNF's on the series and one not attempted due to muggle activity.
Most were fairly straight forward finds with one or two tricky ones thrown in. All the co-ords seemed to be spot on, thanks for putting the series together KB, I visited a lot of great spots that I didn't know existed.
Bit of a stroll to get to GZ but once there it was a quick find.

Hello Alliedoz family nice seeing daddy with 2 kids doing geocaching. Such a lovely family activity. We were rushing to other KB caches, didn't have a chance to chat more. Hope we will see others next time! TFTC.
Out with the kids making most of a beautiful day I had solved some of these mystery caches when they were first released, but last night I decided it was time to knock them off.
Spotted some people walking back as we approached the cache. As they passed I saw a map and said geocaching? They said yup! Logs would say it was Frankie and Vicky.
Nice area, thanks for the cache K.B.

had a bit of car trouble at this cache lost all power, spent a few minutes on the side of the road, banged and jiggled a few things under the bonnet and it came good again hmmmm oh well still a great day tftc
I quite enjoy the sport that is played near GZ and on a day like today, was quite envious of the folk partaking in a little action... I was enjoying a game of my own though so wasn't complaining. If only they knew what I was up to..
The container was quickly located once I hit GZ and I had business sorted just as quick. All done, I mosied off, wandering whether their count was a good as mine today...
Nice to see this one still alive after the recent issues.
Cheers .K.B.

In the area for an appointment, so decided to retry some previously sought in vain caches in the area. Nice to visit here again, and although there were quite a few golfers about, none of them took any notice of me. The cache was quickly spotted and signed. Thanks for replacing it K.B.
The trees around GZ have certainly undergone some extensive searching....nothing left to cover the cache! Have replaced cache but suspect location has been compromised and that cache will be archived.
Uh oh 2 DNFs in a row! Searched 3 trees in the immediate vicinity of GZ, but found nothing

My first DNF for the day. I had a good search in a few of the likely trees, but sorry to say I found nothing.
Looked for this one for a while, however a group was using the general area as the target spot for golf shots, so gave it away in self preservation. Will return another day when GZ is not a golf target.
Final day in Perth today and managed to get away early from 'work' to grab the rest of this series. Collected them one by one driving along and then was still able to get to the airport in time. Great little puzzle and nice area. Thanx for the series.
I solved the puzzles for these caches soon after they were published and they've been on the radar ever since. After chatting to CO at Chwiliwr's event yesterday, I decided that today would be the day, so I did these and a few traditionals in the area with only one DNF on this series and one other DNF for the day, with 31 finds ... and i just realised that the other DNF (GC43KYR) has been archived ... I think I need to run my pocket queries more frequently!
Another quick find. A hockey game was happening nearby, but none of the muggles took any notice of me. Signed the log. Thanks for the hide .K.B.

Attend the dawn service this morning and decided to do some geocaching in the area while waiting to go to work at 12 noon, I work out the puzzle earlier in the week to do today, circle the golf course for this cache...TFTC
Great Series! Solved the puzzle(s) yesterday and popped out this morning to bag the one's that didn't have muggles nearby. What a beautiful day! Thanks for the caches.
Back at the river on the geo-bike to find the rest of the Oz Mega caches.
There used to be another cache just a few metres away from here, so knew the area. TFTH

Seeing we (BettyBoo3747 and I) aren't going to make it to the Mega (working Easter!) we drove around this series and added to our puzzle collection. Grab a few others on the way.
We had varied fortunes on a sunny Sunday - no parking fees and easy parking, but a couple of spots muggled out.
We looked out for golf balls but didn't find any to add to the cache.
Not a lot of playing muggles anywhere around this morning.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 6059. Day 2 of our caching foray around Perth. A beautiful Sunday morning and so many people out and about enjoying the great outdoors. Our aim this morning was to do the Oz Mega Series of 23 that we solved whilst waiting to board the ferry on Rottnest Island a couple of days ago. We also hoped to find some others that appeared on the radar as we drove around.
Only a few people here today and they were busy. Had another chuckle at the container that only had a minimal dab of spray paint. Makes the hide stand out when its only half done and the unpainted side says "Here I am"!
Thanks .K.B.

The geohubby worked all the co-ords out on monday night so we decided we would head out this morning and pick them all up.
All the caches were found without problems as the hints gave a great description of where to look and find them all.
We enjoyed doing the series and it only took us about 3 hours to complete and in that time we even stopped for a coffee break at the tea rooms near one of the caches. TFTC .K.B.

We had solved all the Oz Mega puzzles as they were published. We had already logged some a week ago and decided to complete the series on our way home south today - slight detour. Thanks KB for all the effort put into these caches - quick finds, easily assessable and some scenic locations as well.
Made an early start today, hoping to find all the Oz Mega 2014 series before heading up into the hills for the Earthcache Event. This was the sixth stop for the day. Quick find. Thanks .K.B.
Out with Dr.ibl and N Delfos for a late night caching run in Dalkeith to pick up the Oz mega Puzzle caches we did 22 puzzle caches and a couple of traditionals
Only Puzzle cache we couldn't do was 10 as there were people fishing 3 mts both times we went past and this was 1 am
Thanks for some great hides K.B

Find number 9 of our second day of Perth-Oz Mega caches....
Pleasant walk through the park and a stealthy find, making sure the grass-mowing muggles was looking the other way.
TFTC and series K.B., great fun!

Find number 9 on a great day geocaching with m4yb. Very pleasant walk to GZ but was concerned about all the new branches that had been cut down recently, but figured they had been there too long to be over the cache. M4yb made the find and we retraced our steps to the Geo Jazz and on to the next find. Thanks KB.
We spotted this series last night and as we will need the practice before heading to the OzMega quickly attempted the puzzles and acquired some promising data. We attempted 23 caches today without any DNF's. This is typical of KB's caches. Coordinates are always good and the cache placed with the intention that it be found an enjoyable experience. Good job KB. Please excuse the copy and paste logs.
Thanks for the series KB

I headed out to the area this morning with Skippy46 to do this series, after seeing it on a facebook post.
Lucky for me she had completed all the puzzles.
We had a very successful day with 21 finds. All were easily found and in great condition.
I left some tags in those caches big enough them.
We were able to drive right up to this one, it's a very sporty little area, we noticed a tennis club, bridge club, golf club, hockey club.....
Thanks for the cache K.B.

Came back again late today to do some more of this series.
Had the wrong GZ to start with but was soon found after ingoring where the GPS was trying to have me search.
Thanks .K.B. for the cache.

I managed to drive pretty much up to the cache today as there was a gate open and with no DO NOT ENTER signs to be seen I took advantage of it.
Plenty of people playing golf but we managed to dodge all the balls

It was a beautiful day to head out with the kids for some bike riding, & of course to find some caches along the way After taking a seat to solve a few more puzzles, we had to return to our car to move along & find more caches... I was on my way to another one when I realised another "newly solved" one was in this park!
TFTC .K.B. I initially left this up to the kids to find, but I found it after having more than a boy look Kids had a great time here & they found some souvenir's from next door!
