28-Oct-15
We had done about half the arrow on a previous visit so being in the area to day decided to finish it off along with one other nearby puzzle. A nice walk around some of the areas but we had 2 DNF's as did the previous searcher so suspect those caches are gone. All logs signed and caches re hid. TFTC

17-Oct-15
I'm pretty sure this one has gone missing. The property owner came out and helped me locate it. Probabbly a good thing that it is gone as it is pretty close to his house.

Found this cache during our 2 week trip around Australia.
Nice and easy find! Smile
Thanks for the cache! Wink
Greetings from Latvia! Wink

Running some errands around town & decided to try & find the remaining Oz Mega's whilst in this neck of the woods... This was a familiar spot & we made our way to GZ for another quick find! Thankfully the awful weather is keeping any muggles away Smile

TFTC & the puzzle .K.B. [^] Cache was in good condition.

I had to walk back to the car for a tool to extract the log then returned cache to its hiding place after the signing. Lovely view from here!!

We parked as requested and Muggle Hubbby did the chivalrous thing and walked down the hill and back for this one. What a darling, he is s definitely a keeper! Only another three to find today

18-Jul-15
Thank you! Recently discovered this series, so I thought I go out and do them before they disappear. Found all but two.

Good hiding spot. Parked just up the road and walked down to GZ to make a quick find on a quiet day. All is well with the cache. Thank you for the hide .K.B.

14-Apr-15
Was in the area this arvo for a meeting with some time to kill so decided to clean up a few more of the Oz Mega Arrow.
Managed to park close by and make a quick grab here.
I have put a new log sheet in for you as well K.B
All is good with this container.
Thanks for the series .K.B.

Found it on an early morning bike ride. It took a bit of looking around until I remembered I was searching for a nano (I thought it was a mint tin). Quick find after that, by reaching in to various sneaky spots. A couple of walkers went by so I had a drink from my water bottle while admiring the view. I found a spot to sign the scroll. Thanks for the cache. I'm gradually knocking off this series before they get archived, having only recently discovered how to do suduko's.

18-Dec-14
During my work and travel year in Australia I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge. Having a moving home zone should make this definitely way easier.

Today I planned to get the Oz Mega 2014 series, before it decays even more and probably gets archived. Most of the caches of the series were found and some of the tradis around as well.

This cache could need some maintenance..

TFTC and greetings from Germany

Found on a big geoday with the sis and the geokids TFTC Smile aka dougfam

14-Dec-14
I had the whole morning to myself and what better way to spend it than going for a bike ride and picking up a few caches. I wasn't expecting the stairs so had to lug the bike up before searching for it. Nice of them to put the ramp beside the steps to run the bike up. TFTC.

13-Dec-14
Yes, like others I've had these worked out for a while now... thought i'd better find them before the archive, time to go searching...
Easy find, glad the barriers were there. Log full but i took a pic for proof.

30-Oct-14
Find 9 of 21 in the Oz Mega 2014 series.
Saw the warnings about the series being archived so we sprung into action with a flurry of puzzle printing and solving so that we would be ready for our bike ride around the area today. Spent a couple of hours on lovely quiet roads and in quiet parks steadily working through the series, all quick finds apart from one DNF. An excellent series, thanks for all the caches .K.B. Log is full here.

I've decided to visit this area and to find all caches in this series. I managed it and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the caches and greetings from Slovakia.

12-Oct-14
What a tantalising series ... And what a relief to have finally solved them all! Thanks for the fun! We had a fun family outing to find this series broken for many a play and cuppa and cake break.

Took a little while to locate this tricky one... Though I think we were just wishing we could buy the house for sale nearby!

11-Oct-14
In Perth for a few days for a wedding, today was the main time I could find a few caches.
I had solved some of these at home and set out to explore.
Didn't manage to find this one - looked at every hint object possible.... Sigh, such is life.

10-Oct-14
Solved the puzzle now out to collect the smileys found with itskate Tftc TFTH

05-Oct-14
Found the green nano. Didn't sign the log as I didn't want to get it wet.

23-Sep-14
It was such a beautiful day with the kids in school we decided to head down and finish off the series we started some time ago.
Looked around for a while, sat and checked some old logs, events unfolded exactly as they wrote and we experienced that same ahh moment.

Out with wifey and the geodog today for this series and it was a good find by me for a change TFTC Smile

03-Sep-14
Decided to have a loooong lunch today and finish off this series.

I've been meaning to return and finish this series for some time, it was a spur of the moment thing but the weather was just looking too nice to be indoors all day.

This was the last of the 9 remaining, and sadly the end of the series. As suggested I parked in the parking area 100m from the cache and wandered down for a quick find. Sat on the steps and admired the view while signing.

Thanks for the entertaining series KB ... took me more of the puzzles than it should have before I cottoned on to the pattern Smile. Giving this one a fav point for the series. TFTC.

02-Sep-14
Half of the FFLL team is out of Canberra traveling for work this week. We solved this series before she left Canberra in the hope of getting a ferw. After completing her presentations for the day, she headed out with a muggle friend who helped with the finds.

TFTC and for placing this series .K.B.

31-Aug-14
Out and about to collect a few more of this series today. Most were an easy find but there were 1 or 2 that were a little more tricky. TFTC - Most logs are wet and or full and need replacing

Solved all the puzzles for the Oz Mega series a while ago and had the opportunity today to see how many I could track down. Manged to have ago at all 23 plus a couple of others, ended up with two DNF's on the series and one not attempted due to muggle activity.

Most were fairly straight forward finds with one or two tricky ones thrown in. All the co-ords seemed to be spot on, thanks for putting the series together KB, I visited a lot of great spots that I didn't know existed.

Quick find of the nano here.

SLTFTC

11-Aug-14
Found this one.....................thank heavens for Sudoku puzzles which we can do, unlike some of the other geo puzzles where we don't know where to start!!! The problem here was when we found it we couldn't open the nano cache to sign the log, and didn't have any tools in the car to help. We advise the next person to have something with them to enable them to unscrew the very tight top of cache. T4TC KB

10-Aug-14
Harder than expected to find, but the location is what as described. Tftc

10-Aug-14
Nice easy find with the hint. A bit out of GZ tho. Second last one yay! TFTC Smile

03-Aug-14
this was our last find for the series, there are some really great spot around here we never knew of thanks for bringing us here tftc

25-Jul-14
The last one for today. Just when I popped the Nano back, heavy rain started.

11-Jul-14
I had the day off to attending a family wedding, so I had a few spare hours to go for a walk along the river and find some caches that have been on my hit list for a while. A perfect morning for some geocaching. I had to check a few of the vertical posts on the barrier and for a moment I thought it might have been muggled. I paused for a moment as I heard a muggle coming up the stairs. It was at that moment that I caught sight of it. Great hide. TFTC kb

23-Jun-14
I visited this location en-route to another cache when I visited this area in March. Little did I know I may have walked straight past another container... Wink Not passing it by today though, I surrounded GZ and got stuck into the hunt.

It took a little while to track down the prize as I was focussed on all the wrong spots. After standing back and looking around though, something caught my eye and I extracted the cache from its lair... [^]

Name added to the log, it was tucked back and I was back on the road... Big Grin

Cheers .K.B.

18-Jun-14
In the area for an appointment, so decided to retry some previously sought in vain caches in the area, and to complete the Oz Mega series. It certainly helps to read the description page instead of making presumptions. Today this was quickly spotted and then off to track down the remaining two.
Thanks for the cache and the series K.B.

11-Jun-14
I love all the different types of containers you've used in the series! This was the first nano, and it didn't take too long to find, after checking a couple of the other locations first. Thanks for the cache and the series .K.B.!

08-Jun-14
Didn't spot this one either, but now, at home and reading the cache page, realise I wasn't looking in the right spot for the correct item! Red Face

07-Jun-14
Had a free day as Mrs K was busy doing reports so decided a trip to Perth was in order to attend one of the WWFM events and then do the OZ Mega series and a few others in the area along the way.
I solved all the puzzles before we went to the Mega so I thought it was about time to get these done Wink
In the end I ran out of time so didn't get them all done so will have to find another free day soon.

This one took a bit of time to find as I "couldn't see for looking". Was pretty obvious when I eventually found it Red Face

Thanks for the cache .K.B. [^]

28-May-14
Final day in Perth today and managed to get away early from 'work' to grab the rest of this series. Collected them one by one driving along and then was still able to get to the airport in time. Great little puzzle and nice area. Thanx for the series.

24-May-14
I solved the puzzles for these caches soon after they were published and they've been on the radar ever since. After chatting to CO at Chwiliwr's event yesterday, I decided that today would be the day, so I did these and a few traditionals in the area with only one DNF on this series and one other DNF for the day, with 31 finds ... and i just realised that the other DNF (GC43KYR) has been archived ... I think I need to run my pocket queries more frequently!

Quick find here ... another one that is a bit different from all of the others. Nice views. I was on a mission, otherwise might have ventured down the stairs. Signed the log. Thanks for the hide .K.B.

Attend the dawn service this morning and decided to do some geocaching in the area while waiting to go to work at 12 noon, I work out the puzzle earlier in the week to do today, this cache was poking out which made it an easy find...TFTC

Great Series! Solved the puzzle(s) yesterday and popped out this morning to bag the one's that didn't have muggles nearby. What a beautiful day! Thanks for the caches.

Finishing off the four remaining Oz-Mega series caches.
Quick find here as well, TFTH.

Seeing we (BettyBoo3747 and I) aren't going to make it to the Mega (working Easter!) we drove around this series and added to our puzzle collection. Grab a few others on the way.
We had varied fortunes on a sunny Sunday - no parking fees and easy parking, but a couple of spots muggled out.
We had got into the habit of micro being a mint tin or pre form, took a while to realise (and a read of the description) to realise we were dealing with the dreaded nano!
BB eventually found it in a place I had already looked (don't you hate that!)
Thanks, Robmc.

# 6067. Day 2 of our caching foray around Perth. A beautiful Sunday morning and so many people out and about enjoying the great outdoors. Our aim this morning was to do the Oz Mega Series of 23 that we solved whilst waiting to board the ferry on Rottnest Island a couple of days ago. We also hoped to find some others that appeared on the radar as we drove around.

This sneaky one took a little finding. I found it where Rob had already stuck his fingers. Whoo hoo, a find for me!

Thanks .K.B.

02-Apr-14
This is the second cache I have found in these trees
TFTC

02-Apr-14
The geohubby worked all the co-ords out on monday night so we decided we would head out this morning and pick them all up.
All the caches were found without problems as the hints gave a great description of where to look and find them all.
We enjoyed doing the series and it only took us about 3 hours to complete and in that time we even stopped for a coffee break at the tea rooms near one of the caches. TFTC .K.B.

31-Mar-14
We had solved all the Oz Mega puzzles as they were published. We had already logged some a week ago and decided to complete the series on our way home south today - slight detour. Great views from gz to the cove below. Thanks KB for all the effort put into these caches - quick finds, easily assessable and some scenic locations as well.

Find number 7 of our second day of Perth-Oz Mega caches....
This was the last of our geobike-driven finds, as despite watching a muggle much older than us carry his bike up the stairs, we did not do likewise.
Had quite a search here, both ends of the crash barrier (including the smelly end). Only then did I read the description and the little blighter was in hand.
I want to give a couple of faves to caches in this series along the way, this will be one of them, because it was different and challenged us (exercise!!!!), and the view was great!
TFTC K.B.!

27-Mar-14
Question mark time, and a day out with geofriend m4yb to finish the series, we hope. Our last on the river frontage so the last for our geobikes. Now this was a lot trickier, further down the grass area, no joy, then up the stairs, where is this GPS taking us? I stayed and minded the bikes while she looked then she called for assistance, eventually made the find after a bit of a read of some past logs and a re-read of the description. Thanks for the cache KB. but you can keep the smelly bits Wink

27-Mar-14
This one took a bit longer in the dark, but coords were good, thanks KB

26-Mar-14
We spotted this series last night and as we will need the practice before heading to the OzMega quickly attempted the puzzles and acquired some promising data. We attempted 23 caches today without any DNF's. This is typical of KB's caches. Coordinates are always good and the cache placed with the intention that it be found an enjoyable experience. Good job KB. Please excuse the copy and paste logs.
Thanks for the series KB
