Didn't stick around to be carried away by the mozzies. I'll come back with some spray.
was out and about this way with a bit of time to kill
so decided to do some geocaching
got out to GZ,
then read the info and logs
and decided to go for one that was more likely to be in tack - ie. with a log
will keep an eye on it ... and maybe next time

On our 2nd day of our vacation at Trinity Beach Peterpro went for a walk to find this cache. In total 7km was under the shoes when he was back at the Resort. Cache needs to be maintained, only the glass is still at GZ.
Not sure if i found it or not, pics of a glass container in s tree, found that. Is that it?
GPS was a bit off but tikitere said "it should be ther" and pointed straight to it. Cache and log were fine. TFTC
Cute hide! Found this cache with Geohubby and geofriend - despite a cantankerous GPS! TFTC
Pretty sure we found it but had no log to sign.
Have a photo if required.

Pretty sure I found it but no log to sign? Suspect it's broken/missing as others have stated in previous logs.

We called down to the beach to do some fishing with no luck at all so thought we had better check to see if there was a cache nearby.
The GPSr had us all over the place and we seemed to be a mozzie magnet, but then common sense took over and we finally made the find.
Maybe it would have been easier at night!

I spent the last three month in Australia. During this time I was looking for some geocaches. This Geocache was one of them.
Mrs Crackers is in Cairns for a few days staying with friends who live in the nearby estate so she decided that a couple of caches were in order this morning and this was the second.
What a lovely area with a good access to the beach. We have found a few other AWGS caches but this is our first Queensland one.
Once the right area was checked the cache was quickly found and our name added to the log.
Thanks for the cache WESTIGERS NO.1.

The cache container was found broken and glass covers the place. I even found human faeces on the ground. The cache is next to a swamp and I think the area has turned into a bit of a swamp.
After flying into Cairns for a girls weekend of caching in and around Port Douglas, we decided to grab some of the caches along the coast.
OMG the mozzies and bugs in here were a bit much for a trio of 'delicate' ladies from Bris-vegas - however we managed to locate the cache, sign fast and get out of there with a smilie. TFTC

Found with bennyboppers and hotwheelsduo. Cheers from Brisbane, nice cache, a few nozzles. Tftc
In Cairns for our wedding/honeymoon and dragged my non caching husband out for an hour to find some caches before we headed home to Vic.
Our gps decided to play funny buggers with us and had us searching in the wrong spot when it suddenly corrected itself and had us right on the clever cache. We signed the log and returned it before heading down to the beach for.a quick walk. Thank you for bringing us to this beautiful spot weststigersno.1

Very good cache! The hint confused me but once found all made sense!

While we are spending a few weeks staying in Fishery Falls our daughter joined us for a week from Adelaide to enjoy some of the beautiful attractions to be found around the area.
Today we spent exploring the northern beaches and grabbing any muggle free caches we could. This cache may become temporarily unavailable for a few days in the near future as there are signs to say that the carpark is to be upgraded, an easy find for us today however
Many thanks for the hide WESTSTIGERSNO.1 [^]

Very light cache, good idea have never seen something like this. Logged in the brand new logbooks. Big thank you from Swiss Cachers
I remember talk about this series of caches when they first were proposed so was happy to realize that this was one of them. Had to wait a few muggles parked nearby but soon had a chance to grab the cool cache container and sign the log. Now to find the rest of the series. TFTC
New container in same location. Similar container meaning it does the same thing
Had a trip to Cairns to do, extended the trip over the weekend and a long weekend too.
Not wanting to cache out Townsville and at the same eager to get to my next milestone a trip is always welcome.
Offered a feed to the mozzies in my hunt for the cache
Thanks for the cache

'Shining' example. Had trouble with the lid but a bit of wd40 won the day
Arrived in Cairns today to meet up with Muff1 to do some geocaching. A short drive soon had us in the vicinity and we went exploring. Having just returned from Norfolk Island this cache was of particular interest to me. A short stroll away by us all and the cache was soon in hand. Log signed and we were on our way again. Thank you WESTSTIGERSNO.! for placing this cache and the history lesson as well. TNLN SL TFTC
This was a three way find between muff 1 and speedmistress. Mrs muff1 spotted the hide and being the smallest of the trio collected the cache then handed it to Mr muff1 who retrieved the log and then speedmistress signed the log for both teams, then we did the reverse to return the cache container. A good laugh was had by one and all. TFTC
Love this type of cache, very different and unusual. Dont know if there was a log inside but I didnt want to force anything open incase it breaks. TFTC and H=1
Buggered if I could find it! GPS was sending me in circles in what seemed to be bushland. Mosquitoes eventually got the better of me. Afraid no light bulb came on for me on this one!
Found it, very clever. Hoped to leave our trackable behind but no weatherproof container
My first find for the day. I parked up in this familiar area (there wasn't that many houses around last time). I followed my phone into GZ. Sadly, it took me past GZ. I finally sorted myself and found the cache.
The container was in disarray as reported. I fixed the "bulb" up and the clue card is still present. But unfortunately, not much else I left my moniker in the cache and hid it a little better. I also noted the clue - which I see has been put as a "Note" by someone on the cache page
An interesting area and an original cache container. TFTC WESTSTIGERSNO.1

Hello Wertstigersno.1
Pls see my log, found the cache in the open, the glas bulb was outside, all the goodies inside lying around, tried to fix it, but was not really successful
And there is no logbook, didn't have any paper with me

Cairns and its humidity is a challenge, well ants and mozzies too
We met them all whilst caching here
Found gz and its cache which is in a poor condition
Needs maintenance and a logbook

Tried to mend the cache but in vain

A great cache, gets our first favourite. No swaps inside so Left pirate coin, yoda rubber and geocoin.
After sitting on the new rock next to sign, we found the cache after a very short climb...
Cairns safety boots not recommended for this one - cut my hand! Geomum Dazeedoo pleased to have assistance for her second attempt. I think I was so determined not to get bitten to death I found it quite quickly. TFTC!
Took a bit longer than it should have. Ever decreasing circles to find it! TFTC.
Loved this one! Quick find in likely spot... Mozzies nailed me though whilst trying to locate the log. Definitely a winner! TFTC
Found on our "Making Memories" tour of Mainland Australia.
Today we explored Cairns and surrounding area using geocaching as our guide.
Many thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.

Brilliant and great location. Took us a while to figure out how to get to the log but that just added to the great adventure. The cache container was definitely unique. Very interesting cache. Thanks so much Weststigersno.1 for a brilliant cache and adventure. TFTC
A very original container. It took a while to work out where the log was located, but it all made sense in the end.
Thanks WeststigersNo1 for another very creative cache hide.

After walking the geodoggy on the beach, we came back to fimd the cache. Without realising it, we'd parked the closest. Quick find as cache was out in the open. Returned to so it was semi concealed.

Well, you could think it is a light-in-the-dark night cache. However, some fuel would be needed for that.
After some looking around it shone into my eyes[^]... The rest was just signing the log book.
Some lovely flowers[:X] showed me the way to the cache.
TFTC WESTSTIGERSNO.1, it gave me also the opportunity to practice some CITO.

16.00 - Saw this one pop up. was going to TB and decided to have a kwik stop and give this one a go. Plenty of hungry mozzies were awaiting me. Visualised the light and its source and suddenly, there it was - lighting up my eyes ... found log in different compartment, signed and got the hell out of this mozzy feeding station. +/-0. T4TC.
