Logs
TFTC. Easy find, the log book is mouldy and wet so we couldnt sign it. Needs maintenance!
Good location, not hard to find. Tried to fix lid with sticky tape to help seal from weather- placed photo in cache
First cache back from a long break from caching.. thanks to my fellow caching sister who convinced me to restart again.. had a bit of time up my sleeve so went out to this one.. definitely needs maintenance..
The closest parking I could find was in pallychook drive (named after Henry, not one of his children). short amble soon had me close to GZ, but nothing seemed to fit the description. A similar "throne" on Moreton Island had been used by a visitor and was disgusting. Soon spotted the hide and found a rather soggy log book which I was just able to sign. Not surprising the log is wet, Lisylou, as there is a hole in the lid of the container. Unfortunately I didn't have a plastic bag to prevent the log book drying out. TFTC, Lisylou.
Looked in the wrong place for agesss and was sure it had to be lost but as we left we spotted it in an even more obvious spot lol Tftc!
I headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.
Decided to hit a few around Redbank Plains while down here visiting my family.
I found your cache, “The Throne” today. This is my 2291 find.
Can’t get easier than this.

We scaled through the treacherous and scary cliff side to find ourselves on a path through the forest.
Was very fun I believe it’s been left here for someone to sit and claim their royalty.

I need to chase caches this month so I'll give it a go. Once we found a good place to park it was only a short walk to GZ and we could see the aptly named cache. Couldn't decide whether it was a toilet or a royal chair so I decided it was a thunder box. Log signed before replacing as found. TFTC
Caching today for some crazy souvenirs and to do some maintenance.
Not sure what to expect here but soon realised why it was so named.
Out caching with RoddyC, imbunda

When placed there would not have any houses nearby. How things have changed. Tftc
At first I tried to approach this from the east but I realised I was unlikely to cross the creek and stay dry. So I drove a long way around to the other side. Lots of construction going on but the cache seems safe here as it is near the creek. Well done Lisylou on finding this aptly named hiding place.
I skirted around the nearby construction and had to dislodge some spider webs to retrieve it. Thanks Lisylou and happy caching
Finding it was very fun and kinda nice but was placed somewhere else which is fine since it was close
I’ve never been entirely sure about the point of entry for these caches, but today with a little time to spare I thought I’d drive around and have a look…
A little bit too clear path lead me straight to GZ… tftc…

Was not next to the river as my phone was showing it to be but more on the bush side.
We also got distracted by large fallen tree but persisted and found the throne!
One of my goals for 2021 is to find more caches in Ipswich, set out this morning to grab a few.
Quick one!
Thank you for hiding this geocache and keeping me entertained Lisylou

Found while taking the dog for a walk. All good here with the cache.
Looks like urban development is slowly creeping in here.

Was a bit tricky to find at first but if you really look for it you’ll find it
Had some time to kill in this neck of the woods - what better way than caching? Spent quite a time at this one distracted by another nearby landmark/feature that also matched the description (if you use your imagination)! The latest DNF made me think it was gone but an explore further afield and a better look at the cords revealed the prize TFTC
I spent a fair bit of time here, looking for it. Either you have fooled me again (quite possible) or it has washed away - there are signs of a very recent flood ... Thanks for the caches in this park, Lisylou.
Oh how the mighty tree ants guard this treasure.... careful of the biting centaurians!!!!!
GZ could certainly be a throne of some sorts, our only other comment is that the owner must have long legs. SL TFTC
Out with Geopartner heading up the trail from south to north.
Headed to GZ and soon Geopartner found what we were looking for.
Definitely a throne although could do with some padding as it could be a bit rough to sit on.
Signed the log and replaced back in hide.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Lisylou All good with this cache

A day out in the Collingwood Park area with Joojoo57, Patrol14, Sewrainbow, KerriMG & Nikid1.
Well, we found a way across the creek that kept us all dry, then we began looking (beyond the stranger half undressed!) until we found what I wasn't expecting - but yes, a throne nonetheless.
Log signed by all & replaced again. Found at 12.40pm on 14th July 2016. TFTC

After walking from 'the ruins' & tossing up whether we would be able to cross the creek to this one our intrepid leader headed off into the bush to forge a path with the rest of us straggling along. A suitable spot was found to cross over - right near where a young guy was doing I don't know what but we soon scared him off.
We were soon at the throne & had the log signed & replaced.
There followed a debate about whether to continue on this side of the creek to the next cache or head back to move the cars, it was decided to move the cars & we managed to find a much easier way back across the creek which required very little bush bashing as is often the way when caching!
