Hmm this one definately eludes us. We stopped here on our way to Hobart on Sat 15th and spent over half an hr searching rechecking the clue and past logs searching and searching again before giving up. WE DID FIND A SUSPICIOUS PILE OF ROCKS UNFERNEATH WHERE A BRANCH HAD BEEN RECENTLY BROKE OFF.
Stopped here again on our way back home to Burnie on Thurs 20th and despite another thorough search looking for everything and anything out of the norm, including checking all rocks and sticks for hidden components. We are convinced this is no longer here but can the cache owner or someone who knows where it shld be please confirm this.

Australia Trip, Day 27 of 49
Tasmania Trip, Day 11 of 12
On Cache tour with Theatralis.

English Log: (translated with Google Translater)
We still wanted to visit a cave in Tasmania. That's why we made this afternoon a tour to the Marakoopa Cave. Then we still went to the Liffey Falls. On the way back to Devonport we made a large cache tour. Among others, we visited the Great Lake. Because our ferry was started very early on the next day, we still got a few caches in Devonport evening.
So a container I have never seen. But a great idea! Unfortunately, the logbook was slightly damp. Luckily I had a spare Logstrip by me. Now everything should be fine again;-)

This cache was missing when we were last in this area, so nice to see that it has been replaced.
That’s the good news but the bad news is that the ‘new’ logbook is saturated, unreadable and you most definitely cannot sign it. We left the wet log in the cache container but added a temporary log sheet and enclosed it in a small plastic bag. Should be OK. We loved the views from GZ.
Thanks for the cache Monty&Tylo.

Back in Tassie with whitewebbs finding caches that have been published since our last visit, this is one of them. We targetted the caches in the centeral highlands on a great day out, not too cold!

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

A 10 day trip to Tasmania with a lot more caching then initially expected, but I enjoyed every minute of it! This was one of the many caches I found and enjoyed. Can't wait to get back here and do it all over again, there are so many great places in Tasmania.

Superb valley views on a bright sunny day. Bit of a smell to the place, something very dead nearby. Easy find.. thanks..!!

As we pulled in to gz, there were 2 muggles wandering around, but fortunately they headed back to there car pretty soon and drove off. With the place to ourselves now it didn't take long to spot the tell tale clue and grab the cache. Log signed and cache re hidden, we enjoyed the great view for a while before moving on to the next challenge. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

It was snowing

03-Aug-15
A morning of snow turned this eucalyptus forest into a winter wonderland. Branches were bowing before us as we drove up, weighted down by drifts of snow. Once we arrived at GZ, we soaked in the snow, view and then Magertom and I set to find the cache. I'd never tried to find a cache in the snow before and what was supposed to be a simple find was challenging. In the end, our muggle friend called out "Is this it?" Reckon we way have a new cacher joining our ranks. Log was wet but managed to scrawl our names. TFTC!

The parking spot for this one was on us before we realised so had to turn around and access from the other way.
Great views of the ranges.
The log was wet so we put in a dry sheet.
Thanks Monty&Tylo.

Our aim today was to do a loop around Great Lake before winter took hold. It's been some years since we were last in these parts. Of course now there are caches to be found to add to our enjoyment of the drive. This was our first & we almost missed it as the GPSr's were still warming up (trying to anyway). Chucked a U'ey to take in the magnificent view. We climbed Quamby Bluff back in Oct 95 when we were "collecting ticks" of a different kind but were quite happy today to admire from afar. We're guessing from the recent run of DNF's & a nice new logbook that a little maintenance has been done here.[Blue]Find # 1964. Thanks for the cache Monty&Tylo Smile TNLN.[/Blue]

Hi guys, sorry for the slow logging, but this one was found on one of the many trips I make to Redhills. I tried the drive by method but height was the issue here. Still sb8 was up and at it before i was ready to start looking. thanks for sharing this spot.

Found with Tassiegirl13 while down here on holidays from Queensland visiting the Tassie in-laws over the Christmas/ New Year period.
We were on a day trip up to the Great Lake area and called in the grab this one along the way.
The weather was starting to cool down when we arrived here compared to what we'd left down the bottom of the mountain.
We had nice clear skies so the views we saw were fantastic.
What a great spot!

Found this by accident when my car broke down. While we were waiting for the tow truck to arrive I climbed the tree and found this. Took the skeleton thing as a souvenir, and left a Village Cinemas card in its place. How cool!

Great views from here but we didn't stay too long to admire them as the wind was bitterly cold and the return to the warm van was too enticing. Thanks.

Heading towards Deloraine after visiting nearby Liffey Falls and stopped here for the cache. A bit cold today!

Hi Monty&Tylo
The weather was kind to me here; the reward being your cache and some great views.
I've only been to Golden Valley once before, a very long time ago to have a horse riding weekend.
Logged the cache at 1218hrs.
TFTC and cheers

Sorry Guys......the container was full of water I guess from the recent rain. Surprising really given a sistema rarely leaks. I did not have a replacement log with me today. Dried as best I could but the log was saturated. Let me know if I can assist as I drive past regularly. Perhaps email me if I can help Smile

Found you today on may way home to Breona and a great view is to be taken in from the GZ, thanks Monty&Tylo for another terrific cache hide in our local area. Unfortunately the container was full of water from recent rains and the log was not able to be signed fully. I did not have a replacement log this trip. SL, TNLN, TFTC

I was on my way to Sheffield and then the Walls of Jerusalem and collected a few caches on the way. Over the edge of the plateau it was very foggy so the going was slow and when I got here the view was rather limited.
The container had a fair bit of water in it so it was hard to write on the log sheet. I rescued a travelbug sheep from the wet - but I notice it has not been listed in the inventory.
TFTC Monty&Tylo.

Great spot is a nice view not a bad find either

26-Mar-14
Last weekend we went to the Meander Valley and northern Great Lake area to look for some recently published caches. As we were logging our finds we noticed that two more had been published on the way to the Great Lakes and a third was published a day later. With no other commitments this morning, we headed back to the Great Lakes to look for these three new caches and to complete a CITO for the locationless cache "GA3002 The Two Hands Project CITO Cache". This was the second cache we came to. As we circled GZ, we didn't see Lizzie - must have been at morning tea. We looked in the obvious places but then Mr y'stassies reached to a location that eluded Mrs y'stassie and the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. There being no other entries in the logbook, we will claim FTF at 10:35. Low cloud hanging over Quamby Bluff gave a different, but equally interesting, view today. Thanks Monty&Tylo for another very good cache highlighting the features of Deloraine and surrounds.
