Hi there Reviewer,
RE: The cache "WONDERFUL @ HIGH TIDE"
I'm following up on my "Needs Maintenance" log which is now well over one month old.
There has been no action by the CO (or subsequent finders) to replace the damaged cache.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Tftc beautiful spot! Wish we were a little later in the year to see the turtles! Left a trackable!
Hi there GTR Phil 55.
We found your cache **"WONDERFUL @ HIGH TIDE"** today. (This makes our find count 22727).
We cached around Port Hedland today & found your cache **"WONDERFUL @ HIGH TIDE"** at 9:47:00 AM. (This brings our total find count to 22727). We had an interesting trek around the area & found 4 caches today & DNF'd 1.
Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The cache is UV damaged and very brittle. It really needs some owner TLC.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

We are really sorry to report that the cache is The cache is UV damaged and very brittle. It really needs some owner TLC.

We are on a return visit to Port Hedland where we have visited both 4 years ago, and 8 years ago. Could to see a range of new caches on this visit to add to our enjoyment.
Its hard to beat the scope of the industry here still. Love the trains, the length of which we see nowhere else, the number of ships (didn't think to ask at the Visitor's Centre just how many are out there waiting this time, although did note all bar one is heading for China!) and the coastal scenery. Amazing!
We took the road much less travelled to this one as the maps in our car GPSr were not up to the standard we might have hoped for. This meant a trudge through the dunes in the soft Pilbara sand. Still, not turtles were disturbed or injured in this venture, and we had some great views of the coastline without the local industry.
Once at GZ a quick find was made and we returned the easier way checking out the mangroves.

Nice find after a good walk. The scenery is magnificent especially with the sunsetting. Thanks for bringing me here.
pug002 found it 12/8/2017 while on our trip to the Pilbara geocaching. It wasn't high tide but like greyroamer our calves and Achilles had a great work out. Nice to hear you are still at it greyroamer .TFTC GTR Phil 55
I had to take a run into Port Hedland today to do some shopping, so I thought I'd clean up some of the caches that I have missed so far. I got this one at 11:50 this morning. The walk up the sand dunes did my calves and achilles a good workout, but a nice easy find and I dropped off the Canada T/B to continue its journey. SL TFTC GTR Phil 55.
We found the way in to the closest parking point with our 4 x 4 geo vehicle. Then it was only a short uphill sandy walk to get to GZ. It still took a little while to locate the hidden container and it showed just a bit of colour that made the find easier. After duties were completed, it was an easier downhill walk to get back. Thanks go to GTR Phil 55 for this cache placement.
Day six of Barnzy12 and Cravo10 adventure to the Northwest of WA, filling out boots with LGAs, rare DT, old caches, and good old fashioned red dirt!
Today we travelled from Karratha to Port Hedland via Cossack, Roebourne, Whim Creek, south hedland and various other detours along the way.
We started the day retracing our steps from the night before going out to Roebourne before turning off to Cossack to complete the three awesome multis out that way and a few other caches before turning back to Roebourne to continue towards Hedland.
We continued along the highway collecting all bar one of the smileys along the way, which was a DNF and one was unable to be reached in our 4wd. We pulled into whim creek, just to check out the pub, ended up having a beer whilst there, and a quick game of pool, we even had a national celebrity turn up in the form of Pauline Hanson and her entourage who had stopped in to get a drink and pose for photos with locals, which was most surprising.
We continued into Port Hedland and really hit our straps here collecting urban cache after urban cache making up bucket loads of time that we lost with one cacher enjoying a snooze in this morning!
Huge day again with 25 plus caches reeled in and another LGA picked up along with some older caches too! Thanks to the local COs we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly today!

Another smiley added here today on a 5 week Pilbara and Kimberley break, a fantastic view from up here TFTC
With an hour to spare before flying out, I thought why not. Ended up making a 500m or so walk down the soft sand in full PPE, not something I'd recommend doing. Did find some cool shells on the way down though. TFTC GTR Phil 55
That was a bit of walk but because I'm on a bit of a geocaching mission today I had to jog a little. Cache was a little exposed so pushed it back in a little further. Left one of my geo coins. Thanks!
A drive around port Hedland after work meant I Could grab some caches.
We decided to walk the 900mtrs to GZ along the rocks on the beach. Easier than walking in the soft sand.
Was a bit worried where we might end up as the sign of the "clothing optional" beach was 1km in the same direction.
Did have any surprises once at GZ, cache was soon found, signed and replaced. Decided to walk back along the track. This was more of an effort the walk in but still enjoyable.

I had a few hours to spend in town today prior to leaving to drive further north so I spent that time wisely finding a few caches.
This one had me out of the car and on shanks pony for the walk in over the sand.
