Cache found after a short search. Thanks for the fun.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A nice walk along the trail today, a good variety of hides that some need new co ords but other than that they are a bit of fun. Travelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache

I had to delay another activity while waiting for the weather so went for a walk. Plenty on this track but opted for the higher D rating. Was fortunate to spot the camo quickly at GZ to make the find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

The excitement on the youngest geokids face when he was first in the group to find this one was priceless. We suspected the camouflage and he went to work. So much fun, tftc!

Love this rail trail. Chucking off big sticks as I go for cyclists. Arrived at GZ and immediately saw something. Very nice construction log all good. Nice and dry log, great coordinates.

26-Jul-20
The Sun had come out and living in Baw Baw shire we were not locked down so I decided to head out for a day out of the house and a nice walk along the Moe - Yallourn rail trail, Gippsland has some great locations to visit and lots of caches that have not been found in awhile, so with my new caching gear gloves, sanitizer and mask. I had a great time touring around the area finding caches and exploring new places. gps was all over the place but I finally spotted it.

Thanks Poiter.h for the cache.

02-Jul-20
Clever little hide that was found after a little hunting with gps bumping around. Tftc

31-May-20
Love this hide. Was a bit worried after it hadn’t been found for a while that it might have been lost but the camouflage was great.

22-Sep-19
Amazing camo. plenty of dead wattles around. TFTC

14-Oct-18
My fellow cachers have previously found this cache. So I headed off down the path with one in tow with the other taking the vehicle to the other end so I could pick up the last few on this section of the trail. Started looking in the wrong spot but finally the coordinates settled down and I had the cache in hand.

09-Oct-18
This one seems to be a rare find... I guess most of the hunters don't botber to go this far into the trail? Or maybe they have trouble spotting the camo in the undergrowth
I have to warn people though... I did happen to see a snake in this area while I was on my way back to the car... please be careful where you walk in the warmer months!
TFTC!

22-Feb-18
Nice interesting hide, and I usually seem to struggle finding this CO's caches, but fortunately for me the cache container was the first thing that I looked at.
Found and signed the log at 11.55 am. Wow long time since anyone has found it.
Thanks for the cache Poiter H

When you think you've find the right place, expand your search area. Ground level. Look for the clue not the title. Only found with some massive help from another cacher! Found by Kryslazz x

25-Jun-17
This one was tricky!!!! On he opposite side of the trail than the wattle tree we were searching. Gps was off... stupid phone. Found with Shai.marelle and help of a fellow geocatcher. Don't think we would have found it without it.

22-Jun-17
Quick find with luck and seeing something out of place tftc

02-Apr-17
I set off for an enjoyable walk along the trail to have a try at this final one. This is a clever and well disguised hide. After letting the satellites settle, I looked across and what do you know there it was. It was what I was expecting so I was pleased to be able to spot it.
Thanks for the cache.

I went and checked on the cache today, and all is well.

Due to the number of DNF's to finds, I have decided to bump the D rating up by 1/2 a star.

Happy Geocaching

12-Mar-15
We searched and we searched. All the trees began to look the same! Read the hint, read the logs and then Mrs SKI came up with the goods in a place where I had already looked.
Thank goodness for her eagle eyes. And it is just like one of our hides.
TOOK A WHILE!

20-Feb-15
The call of the Rail Trail got to us, so BettyBoo3747 and I loaded up the deadly treadlies and set off for Moe and the MTY trail.
We checked out this one on the way up the trail and again on the way back, but no cache to be found for us today.
I guess we stuck around toooo long.
Thanks, Robmc.

20-Feb-15
We came we searched, we continued on and searched again on the return ride. No luck, no deal, no dice. Nemesis cache for us today dammit.

25-Jan-15
It was a year since we originally rode this rail trail. Today we returned to some more recent and some very challenging hides. We were determined not to give up on this one, but were also worried that the cache might have been compromised by all the destruction at gz. Patience was wearing thin and we needed to call in a favour. After some confirmation that we were on "the right track" the cache was quickly located. This was a tricky one Poiter.h!! Thanks for a great challenge.

17-Jan-15
Good day out I recon (caching of course)

17-Jan-15

We all had a great day finding a wonderful array of cache types and cunning hides while covering quite a number of Kilometres. Many thanks to Poiter.h for the effort and placement of this cache TNLN SL

30-Dec-14
2nd dnf. These caches drive me nuts!!

07-Nov-14
Ugh, this was a hard slog. My gps took me about seven metres from the eventual cache, Kato Potato's GPS just went berserk so we gave up on it. In the end I climbed up a bit, scratched around, saw what we think was evidence of previous searches and almost gave up. Something drew Kato back up the trail, the way we'd come, and she shouted out "No WAY". Then she showed me something I wouldn't have noticed, tucked away well, and so subtle I can see why there's rarely a find here. TFTC Poiter.h, I'm so glad Kato was with me otherwise it'd be a DNF.

07-Nov-14
On our afternoon of freedom from kids kyabbott and I were determined to knock over this end of the rail trail today so, only slightly daunted by the number of DNFs previously logged we tackled this one with gusto. Unfortunately we almost gave up. Then I spotted something that fit with the clue and went in to investigate. Sneaky sneaky! Took some effort to extract the log but there was a fair amount of fist pumping that went on when we discovered we were second to find in all the time this one has been online. So satisfying. Favourite point from me. TFTC Poiter, we love your trail!

02-Oct-14
Still not found must be a tricky one

14-Sep-14

11-May-14
Didn't find this one today started to run out of day light and started to rain . The GPS was trying to take us up to the next level of the bank but my gut feeling was still on the rail trail in the wattle trees .Will have to come back again. TFT hide anyway Poiter
