Thanks. A quick one. Love the history lesson. And 100th Anniversary of the ANZACs just around the corner.
TFTC. Took a bit of hunting, with 2 GPS disagreeing, but then success. Muggles a bit of an issue, even on a Saturday morning in the drizzle.
I found this with mummy and daddy and my sister while we were having a holiday in Port lincoln
We found this after lunch and a play at the nearby playground. We are looking forward to find a few more around Port Lincoln while over here on holidays. This is number 6 for the day

This one gets a Favourite point for the hide as well as the memories this brings of all the years of coming here from the bush to do our shopping and have a swim on hot days.
I learnt to swim here, my 3 older brothers chucked me off the end of the jetty and I had to swim to shore. You learn in a hurry
Found on 30 March on a trip to the West Coast for a beach wedding in beautiful weather. Perfect. Neat hide TFTC

We found this cache as part of a 4 day trip which went from Adelaide to Sceale Bay returning to Adelaide. The purpose of the trip was to remove Freddo was his home location too near the Clipsal 500 track and for us and Freddo to achieve a difficulty 4 1/2 and terrain 4 cache to make us well rounded cachers. The cache we needed to find was located near Venus Bay and we successfully completed this goal early on Friday morning which left us plenty of time to find "just one more". Loved the scenery and having the opportunity revisit this great area Thanks to viper231 for placing this cache.
In Port Lincoln for a few days and managed to grab a few caches along the way.
Viper was kind enough to join me one night and gave me a tour around his city.
Fly in, Fly out and happy with a few finds.

had to use stealth with this one. Tunarama, so many muggles ! cool little hide tftc.
Stealth required since there were people sitting on a nearby bench. Thanks viper231.
Geohubby was not happy here as he stubbed his toe and took off lots of skin, on the upside he found the cache. Log signed and replaced. TFTC

This stage of our holiday from Melbourne to WA comprised a leg from Port Lincoln to Streaky Bay.
We spent a lot of time looking at the features of the area, but of course there was some caching done along the way. We found 20 of which this was the 1st.
An early start with a walk along the foreshore saw a find here with no muggles nearby.
Thanks for placing this cache viper231

Finally found after a long search disturbed by muggles, dogs, and a wandering GPS.
Wow!! Thank you for the present I don't usually take gifts from caches, but I watched the Hobbit movies a couple of days ago so thought this one was for me.
Is it perchance an Elvish wedding ring? 'One ring to seal our love, one ring to bind us...' etc. Love that verse.
On holiday from WA - I now have a lovely souvenir to remember Port Lincoln by. Well worth a favourite

I had visited this beachside location a couple of days ago, but failed to find the cache.
Lots and lots of muggles parading past on a weekend !! [:o]
Today I had not forgotten about this cache, and with a cool and windy weekday morning for company, I rode the pushbike to GZ.
Nobody around !!
So I could really get down and peek around !!
Hey there's a cache in there !!
And a bear as well !! [:o]

Another perfect spring day for a drive around town while in Port Lincoln for a few days.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good quick finds.
Very quiet here on a Sunday arvo thankfully and a good safe hide where it is now.
Thanks for the cache viper231,

Tftc, moved it about 20 cm away as it was clearly visible while walking along sand
A quick find in the rain. Don't think we got as wet though as the 2 swimmers doing laps in the swimming area off the jetty. They must be dedicated, we were cold and we were wrapped up in our winter woollies. Thanks, we will return to this area tomorrow as want a photo of that famous horse before we leave.
Tried to get this one on our first day in Lincoln
The tide was not kind to us on that day
Today it was a quick find
For those wondering Ben (viper213)explained that he would like to have placed this cache near the memorial but was not allowed to do so by the ump
NO doubt many of our soldiers would loved to have sat here and thrown in a line and caught a fish or two or watched the boats out in the bay
Many thanks for the cache

Found near the Diva, in the dark. Had to use my phone torch. No muggles around. Tftcsl. 10/06/2014 6:59 pm Find #656
Found easily, with no muggles on the beach.
With all due respects to our Diggers, we couldn't work out why there is a cache in this location for ANZACS when there is no memorial, plaque, or the like. However there is a very famous horse nearby that probably does deserve a cache, but now one can't be placed unless it is a multi, or much further away.

Found on a four day trip to Port Lincoln and area. I was with non geocachers so had, on numerous occasions, to curb my desire to find "just one more" cache. This was found early in the morning in the company of one of the non geocachers who may yet become a geocacher! Thanks for the ANZAC history and the hide viper321, they impressed the non geocacher as well!
Miss GG and myself were on Mini camping Holiday in Port Lincoln and we decided to break up our drive around the area and grab some caches on the way.
We hand picked all the caches this time on our way over and the caches that we did in Port Lincoln as its quite over whelming arriving at a new location with so many caches.. at the end of the day we use caching to make the drive to a location more interesting and not to do every single cache in the town.. as that will be no holiday at all. Gotta leave some for the next trip right?
Please forgive us for a generic log, as we are logging days after doing these caches, We enjoy the challenge of every cache and we try to put custom comments on the ones we remember.
Today we Traveled to Coffin Bay and surroundings.. plus a bit of a coastal walk when we got back
Thanks for the cache Viper231
Fitting cache to be done, as its Anzac day tomorrow
Until next time - First thing you know I'll be back in Bow River again

Today was Darknstormy and my third full day in Port Lincoln so we decided to make our way to coffin bay and the national park and come back and look around the city some more
The day was looking to be great, weather was beautiful and some great sights were in store for us today
I apologize for the Generic logs but as we are logging afterwards all that was done becomes forgotten..
We were in the mood for a nice walk along the coast so we set of from the car park to gather as many of the caches as we could
Thanks viper231 for the cache

Paid a quick visit to the cache while in the area fixing another cache. It's safe and sound.
Paid this cache a visit in the early hours of the morning after a king tide just to make sure it was safe and dry. It was so happy caching hope you enjoy the views. Performed a log deletion due to violation of guidelines for logging of a physical cache please be aware any logs not written on log sheet will be deleted.

Staying at the Port Lincoln caravan park, while caching in the area.
Good to see some new caches coming out in the area. Very good hide.
Many thanks for the hunt today, viper231.
